Lu Xiaolu saw that the man with Bai Lan was actually Bi Zhigang! Lu Xiaolu waited by Bai Lan's doorstep, and as soon as he saw Bai Lan return, he immediately went up to her and asked what was going on between her and Bi Zhigang. Bai Lan's originally smiling face instantly froze. Bai Lan also said it was her private matter. Lu Xiaolu innocently asked Bai Lan what that day's events meant.

Bai Lan couldn't think of what he was talking about for a moment, until she saw Lu Xiaolu looking very embarrassed, only then did she realize Lu Xiaolu was talking about the night they had been together. Bai Lan questioned Lu Xiaolu, "Do you expect me to take responsibility? " Lu Xiaolu didn't mean that, but he couldn't say anything. Bai Lan then left. Lu Xiaolu went to drink with Li Guangnan.

Lu Xiaolu couldn't understand what was going on with the whole thing. Bai Lan's attitude made Lu Xiaolu even more upset. Lu Xiaolu really didn't know what to do. Bai Lan had actually gone to the Second Light Industry Bureau to work as a translator for Director Bi. Bi Zhigang was Director Bi's son, which was why there was that scene of him picking up Bai Lan.

Bai Lan did a great job with the translation work, even Director Bi didn't want a talent like Bai Lan to stay working at the food factory. He directly said it was a waste of talent. Bai Lan just smiled without speaking; she already had her own plans in mind. As soon as Bai Lan left the office, she saw Bi Zhigang. Bi Zhigang said he would give Bai Lan a ride back.

He also said the hotel incident that day was a misunderstanding. It must have been Lu Xiaolu playing tricks. Bai Lan, however, said it was not a misunderstanding. It was she who had Lu Xiaolu do that! Bi Zhigang got angry as soon as he heard this. He told Bai Lan with a hint of threat that he had asked his father for this translation job for her. Bai Lan's expression changed as soon as she heard this.

Bai Lan stated the truth was that she had voluntarily applied and was selected based on merit. Bi Zhigang was speechless. He changed the subject and talked about there being only one spot for a graduate student at the factory. He also said he would try his best to help Bai Lan get it. Bai Lan, however, flatly refused. Bai Lan said she trusted her own abilities. After saying that, she left, giving Bi Zhigang no chance to continue speaking.

Everyone in the cafeteria was discussing Bai Lan going to the Second Light Industry Bureau to work as a translator. Rumors even spread that Bai Lan was about to marry Bi Zhigang. Lu Xiaolu, who was nearby, heard someone badmouthing Bai Lan in front of her and got angry. He directly rushed up and hit that person. He then caught up with Bai Lan and asked her why she didn't explain that day.

Bai Lan said that if everyone thought that way, there was no need to explain. Just then, Bi Zhigang came to tell Bai Lan there was more translation work at the Second Light Industry Bureau. He also said he would come to pick up Bai Lan later. Lu Xiaolu was still very depressed after returning. Everyone in the maintenance team also thought Bi Zhigang was just from a good family, but he himself was useless.

After saying that, Lu Xiaolu ran off. Lu Xiaolu rode his motorcycle to pick up Bai Lan. On the way, he even encountered Bi Zhigang driving a car. Bi Zhigang looked very disdainful. Unexpectedly, Bai Lan directly left with Lu Xiaolu. Bi Zhigang immediately turned around and went to the maintenance team to find Lu Xiaolu. He specifically demanded that Lu Xiaolu repair his car. He also said some insulting words. Lu Xiaolu was not afraid at all.

He even challenged Bi Zhigang to a fight! News of the two arranging a fight quickly spread throughout the entire factory. Bi Zhigang even had people find Lu Dajiang. Unexpectedly, Lu Dajiang immediately turned around and said he would help Lu Xiaolu! Bai Lan was very angry after hearing about it. She stated directly that she was not an object. She also said that if Lu Xiaolu went, she would never speak to him again!

On Bai Lan's side, Director Bi also transferred Bai Lan back to the boiler room again. Lu Xiaolu felt very pained after hearing this. When he got to the boiler room to see, those workers were indeed badmouthing Bai Lan again. Lu Xiaolu got angry. Even though he knew Bi Zhigang had quietly contacted the Public Security Bureau, Lu Xiaolu still took people to the place where the fight was arranged.

Lu Xiaolu instructed Lu Dajiang in advance that unless he gave the word, the brothers absolutely should not make a move. Lu Dajiang didn't understand but still agreed. In the end, this group fight turned into a battle between just Bi Zhigang and Lu Xiaolu. Lu Xiaolu underestimated his opponent, and was finally pinned to the ground and beaten by Bi Zhigang. The appearance of Bai Lan and Lao Niupi finally stopped this farce! Bai Lan took Lu Xiaolu back to treat his injuries, her face full of concern.
