Bai Lan and Lu Xiaolu had been troubled about finding OEM factories, but the results seemed poor. The two stayed in the office all night. When Lu Xiaolu opened his eyes, Bai Lan was flipping through her contacts again, thinking there must be someone she had missed. Lu Xiaolu, however, took Bai Lan's hand, told her to calm down, and then took her to breakfast.

The place they ate at was the same restaurant where Lu Xiaolu had pretended to be Bai Lan's boyfriend back then. The two had done so many memorable things there before that even the boss recognized them and took out his homemade seafood sauce for them to eat. This act couldn't help but pull the two back to the past. Lu Xiaolu said he was too silly back then, but Bai Lan said being a little silly was also good.

She also said that this time returning, she strangely felt a bit like not wanting to go back. This feeling was hard for her to explain. As they chatted, they talked about Afang. Lu Xiaolu said that after Afang left back then, she went to Guangzhou to do business and seems to be doing very well now, perhaps they could try going to Guangzhou.

Early the next morning, with the help of Chang Jiao and Qin Juan, the two set off for Guangzhou. They took turns driving along the way, encouraging each other, seeming as if the problem could be solved quickly. What they didn't know was that Boss Huang's people had been following them in a car not far behind! At Tao Jie's hotel parking lot, an unwelcome guest arrived, who was Hu Laoda. Hu Laoda deliberately caused trouble.

Tao Jie suggested he calm down and offered him a room for free, but he actually asked Tao Jie to accompany him, and his words became increasingly offensive. Tao Jie's face also turned grim. Then, a person stood in front of Tao Jie; it was Lu Dajiang. Lu Dajiang told Tao Jie to leave first and he would deal with Hu Laoda.

Tao Jie was pulled away by someone but kept shouting for Lu Dajiang to stop, genuinely afraid that something bad would happen to Lu Dajiang again. After the fight, Lu Dajiang walked away on his own. Tao Jie kept chasing him, asking him why he didn't want to see her. Lu Dajiang stopped and told Tao Jie to calm down. He admitted that what happened back then was his fault, but after so long, Tao Jie should have let go.

Lu Dajiang walked away again. Tao Jie anxiously chased after him and accidentally fell down the stairs. Lu Dajiang quickly went over to help her up. When Tao Jie stood up, her face was covered in tears, but she was still calling out to Lu Dajiang. Lu Dajiang directly kissed her, and Tao Jie responded. After many years, the two finally opened up to each other. Lu Xiaolu and Bai Lan arrived in Guangzhou but couldn't find Afang.

They had no choice but to wait outside her company. Bai Lan was sad about wasting a day, but Lu Xiaolu guided her to look up at the stars and encouraged Bai Lan not to give up. In the end, they really did wait for Afang, but she had changed her name, so their search wasn't smooth. After they proposed their cooperation plan, Afang was clearly unwilling to accept it.

Afang directly stated that she changed her name because she wanted to forget that past. Seeing this, Bai Lan and Lu Xiaolu didn't force her. Lu Xiaolu just took out a gift and gave it to Afang, and then the two left. The two didn't waste time and immediately returned. Bai Lan asked Lu Xiaolu what the gift he prepared was. Lu Xiaolu said it was milk tea powder he made, considering it a small token of his regard.

After Bai Lan returned, she was called to Boss Huang's office. He asked Bai Lan if the food in Guangzhou was good. Bai Lan remembered that only Qin Juan knew about her trip to Guangzhou, so she guessed that Boss Huang had sent someone to follow her. He also advised Bai Lan to stop now. Bai Lan said she still had one day left and would not give up, and clearly rejected Boss Huang's hints! Then she left.

When Bai Lan went out, she saw Lu Xiaolu. Boss Huang also started implementing his plan! Lu Xiaolu took Bai Lan to a hotel. As he was preparing to leave, Lu Xiaolu called out to Bai Lan again. Lu Xiaolu was very happy to be able to continue working with Bai Lan, and both of them were very happy.

Unexpectedly, while Bai Lan turned around to answer a phone call, Lu Xiaolu was dragged away and beaten by Hu Laoda, on Boss Huang's orders! Early the next morning, Bai Lan packed her luggage and left the hotel to wait for Lu Xiaolu to pick her up, and completely fell out with Boss Huang. This was because the family of the Italian partner had told her about Boss Huang's past dirty deeds! Bai Lan did not wait for Lu Xiaolu.

When she called, Lu Dajiang answered. When Bai Lan arrived, Lu Dajiang was applying medicine to Lu Xiaolu. Lu Xiaolu gave Bai Lan a shoe he pulled off last night. The shoe print was exactly the same as the one found in the cold storage. The two guessed that Hu Laoda might have teamed up with Huang Qing. Lu Dajiang got up and left after hearing this, only saying he was going out for a walk!
