Bai Lan returned to Shanghai. Her boss asked her why she went back to Fucheng without telling him. Bai Lan frankly said that she had been working overtime for so many years, and taking some time off like this was not excessive. The boss was not angry. Bai Lan then received another work call. After the call, the other person asked Bai Lan if she had applied for General Manager of the branch company again.

Bai Lan directly said that the company always had reasons to refuse her in the past two years. Bai Lan angrily went to Huang Laoban's office.

For so many years, Bai Lan had always called him Master, but now Huang Laoban said it was the board's decision and that he just wanted to keep her by his side.
