By evening, something indeed happened at the skating rink. Ding Dezhong brought people and pried open the door of the skating rink. After entering, they looked for someone. Unexpectedly, Lu Dajiang had already sensed something was wrong. He directly brought two brothers to confront them. But unexpectedly, before much happened, Lu Dajiang was injured. Bi Zhigang was also shouting everywhere that Lu Dajiang had killed someone! Soon, someone from the police station arrived.

Only then did Lu Dajiang realize he had fallen into Ding Dezhong's trap. Lu Dajiang took off running. But because his leg was injured, Lu Dajiang didn't run far before Ding Dezhong caught up to him. Ding Dezhong explicitly said it was because of his son's matter and he would not let him go. Unexpectedly, Lu Xiaolu and Bai Lan, who realized something was wrong, arrived in time. Only then did Ding Dezhong leave.

Bai Lan simply glanced at Lu Dajiang's wound; it was actually fractured. Bai Lan said he must go to the hospital immediately. Lu Xiaolu, however, said going to the hospital now would be walking into a trap. Thinking this, Lu Xiaolu simply rode his bicycle to the hospital to get a medical kit. But Lu Xiaolu didn't expect that when he rushed back, both Lu Dajiang and Bai Lan were gone!

It turned out that Bai Lan had persuaded Lu Dajiang to turn himself in. Lu Dajiang initially said at worst he would hide in Hong Kong and never come back. It wasn't until Bai Lan mentioned Lu Xiaolu's name. Bai Lan stated directly that Lu Xiaolu was so talented and he should not be implicated! Only then did Lu Dajiang decide to turn himself in! --- Lu Xiaolu didn't know what happened in between.

He only knew that Lu Dajiang had been taken away by the police. And it was very likely related to Bai Lan! Lu Xiaolu was very low-spirited. He often went to wander by the entrance of the closed skating rink. Niu Xiaoying came to comfort him. She also brought the letter that Bai Lan had written to Lu Xiaolu before.

It turned out that after some internal struggle, Niu Xiaoying still felt that this matter should not be hidden from Lu Xiaolu. After handing over the letter, Niu Xiaoying left. Lu Xiaolu looked at the content of the letter. He started smiling at first, but then became serious. He felt very uncomfortable inside. The next day, Lu Xiaolu went to find Bai Lan. Lu Xiaolu wished Bai Lan a bright future. This could be considered a formal farewell.

Afterwards, Lu Xiaolu left. The letter fell to the ground. Bai Lan stood alone in the same spot, feeling bad inside as well. Ding Dezhong's head was smashed. He still went to the repair workshop to utter threats. Lao Niupi said that no one could touch his apprentice. Li Guangnan, standing by, couldn't say a word for a long time and lowered his head guiltily. Qin Juan returned to the dormitory. Bai Lan handed her a collection of jokes.

Bai Lan hoped Qin Juan could give it to Lu Xiaolu. She also said she hoped this could cheer up the low-spirited Lu Xiaolu a bit. Qin Juan laughed at Bai Lan, calling her childish. But Bai Lan said she felt it was okay. Bai Lan also hoped Qin Juan could teach her how to cook. Bai Lan wished she could do something for Lu Xiaolu. Qin Juan agreed. The two went to the market together to buy vegetables.

Bai Lan didn't even recognize seafood. Qin Juan taught her. The misunderstanding between the two was completely resolved. Qin Juan now didn't like Lu Xiaolu either. She stated directly that there should be better people worth her liking! Soon, both Qin Juan and Niu Xiaoying brought their own dishes to visit Lu Xiaolu. Lu Xiaolu wasn't very interested in any of them. Only Qin Juan and Bai Lan knew that those burnt dishes were made by Bai Lan.

Lu Xiaolu knew nothing about it and turned them all away. Lu Xiaolu's parents saw their child like this and wanted to do something, but nothing worked. Lu Xiaolu then took some things to visit the person injured by Lu Dajiang. Unexpectedly, he found that Bai Lan had been accompanying and caring for him! The two chatted. Lu Xiaolu complained about Qin Juan's jokes and food. Bai Lan felt uncomfortable inside, but there was nothing she could do to complain.

While the two were chatting, the police unexpectedly showed up at the door! It turned out it was because of Ding Dezhong's head being smashed. Ding Dezhong had reported it to the police. The police questioned them individually. But unexpectedly, both of them took responsibility onto themselves. There was a long standoff without a result. Bai Lan hadn't eaten for the entire day. What was surprising was that Director Bi actually came in person!

Director Bi asked Bai Lan to meet outside. He complained about his current marital situation in various ways. He also used the sponsored training spot quota to threaten her. Bai Lan directly pointed out that Director Bi wanted to have a relationship with her. Director Bi, however, said he could protect Bai Lan and her friend! Bai Lan understood the meaning behind his words. She didn't say anything and lowered her head to eat.

Soon, both Lu Xiaolu and Bai Lan were released. Bai Lan also formally bid farewell to everyone. The notice about Lu Dajiang's sentencing and the announcement about Bai Lan going for sponsored training were both released. People started spreading rumors about Bai Lan again!
