Xu Tian looked at Jia Xiaoduo in the back seat through the rearview mirror, full of joy—he had finally seen the person he had been longing for again. In order to get a full view of her, he even turned the dashcam inward to secretly record her every move. When Jia Xiaoduo noticed, she wasn’t angry at all; instead, she gently encouraged him, telling him to live according to his heart and not to wrong himself.

Xu Tian worked diligently during the day and drove rideshare at night, living a peaceful and routine life. Jia Xiaoduo felt his life was too dull and asked him why. Xu Tian honestly said he liked the feeling of driving freely, and even when riding the bus, he enjoyed the moments when the carriage was empty except for him.

Jia Xiaoduo encouraged him to speak his mind and joked that he was like a snail—strong—and guessed he liked traffic police and enjoyed correcting rule-breakers. Unexpectedly, all these inner thoughts were guessed by Jia Xiaoduo. It turned out Jia Xiaoduo was like another version of himself in his heart, inspiring him to do things he usually wouldn’t dare to think about. Jia Xiaoduo clearly expressed that she liked him.

Xu Tian took her home, and Jia Xiaoduo warmly invited him upstairs for a chat about their dreams. Overwhelmed by the attention, Xu Tian mustered the courage to follow her into the residential complex, but in the large building, he suddenly didn’t know which unit Jia Xiaoduo lived in. Jia Xiaoduo stepped out of the elevator, her mind in a fog, and in a daze, she couldn’t even remember where her room was.

Xu Tian anxiously searched the hallway but had no clue and finally had to leave. Jia Xiaoduo stood alone in the hallway, and suddenly Tie Lin from the illusion appeared before her. Tie Lin kept typing on his phone, trying to communicate with her, but Jia Xiaoduo was preoccupied and didn’t pay him any attention. Unexpectedly, the text Tie Lin typed was her room number, and he raised his hand to point in the direction of the room.

But Jia Xiaoduo didn’t enter. She suddenly remembered that this person had once delivered a package to her and there was also some food not yet signed for, so she deliberately delayed to see what would happen next. Jia Xiaoduo walked into a store where Xu Tian was carrying a pile of goods. The two sat and chatted, and Xu Tian gathered his courage to ask Jia Xiaoduo why she liked him.

As they talked, the deliveryman on the other side angrily grabbed an iron rod and stormed out of the residential complex. Jia Xiaoduo checked the time and felt it wasn’t a good night to chat for long, so she decided to end the conversation. The two then got on a bus, but unexpectedly, the deliveryman chased after them, relentlessly pursuing the bus. However, Jia Xiaoduo remained unusually calm. With Xu Tian by her side, she felt at ease.

At this time, there were few passengers on the bus—the exact atmosphere Xu Tian liked. Music played, rain poured outside the window, and Xu Tian, in high spirits, walked toward Jia Xiaoduo and bravely embraced her. Meanwhile, the deliveryman crashed into a private car and had to pay a large compensation. Jia Xiaoduo entered the amusement park.

Before her was a lively, bustling scene, with all kinds of rides dazzling the eye, but she felt it was all somewhat unreal and wasn’t truly joyful inside. She looked around as the crowd moved with the music, and she found herself dancing along. The music was Xu Tian’s favorite, perhaps due to Jia Xiaoduo’s earlier encouragement. Xu Tian also started dancing to the rhythm.

At that moment, the deliveryman Tie Lin suddenly chased them down, demanding an explanation from Jia Xiaoduo. Xu Tian didn’t hesitate to step in front of her. Strangely, he suddenly became like a martial arts master—the world seemed to freeze, and he easily dodged Tie Lin’s attacks. When everything returned to normal, Tie Lin found Jia Xiaoduo had vanished and began searching anxiously.

Xu Tian drove Jia Xiaoduo home, but unfortunately, they encountered a massive traffic jam, the cars blocked up tight. Jia Xiaoduo teased Xu Tian, saying this was his chance to fulfill his dream of directing traffic. Xu Tian really got out to direct, but ended up arguing with a driver. To ease the conflict, the traffic police took both of them into a car and brought them to the police station, where they also ran into Tie Lin, who had been chasing Xu Tian.
