Yiyue’s parents showed up suddenly and asked Dr. Qin to tidy up a new room—it looked like they were planning to stay a while. President He, seeing Ning Fang downstairs, got jealous and called Wen Gu for advice. He even visited Ning Fang’s studio. Their conversation was filled with tension. Dr. Qin happened to come by to see the cat and invited Ning Fang to dinner at a popular hotpot place. Just as Ning Fang invited President He along, Dr. Qin refused on his behalf, saying he wouldn’t eat that kind of food.
Later, President He found the hotpot place and secretly watched them. Then something awkward happened—the waiter threw him a surprise birthday celebration in a corner, causing second-hand embarrassment. The restaurant offered to waive the bill if the couple hugged after the music stopped. Seeing that Ning Fang was about to make a move, President He rushed over, and they accidentally crashed into each other—super awkward.
While working out, President He was distracted, increasing his training load. Wen Gu brought up his ex-girlfriend Lin Wei, but President He showed zero interest in her whereabouts or why she left.

Back upstairs, Qin Yiyue discussed with her best friend what to do next. They came up with a plan—let Ruowei pretend to be He Qiaoyan. Meanwhile, at home, Xiaobao kept asking President He when Mommy was coming—he was really looking forward to it.
The next morning, Yiyue deliberately let her mom see a message from He Qiaoyan on WeChat and pretended to go to the bathroom, giving her parents a chance to reply. But just then, President He texted Dr. Qin, and her parents replied to the real He Qiaoyan. Meanwhile, Ruowei’s phone was at the repair shop. Wen Gu also suggested to President He that he go meet Qin Yiyue’s parents—backfiring their whole plan. Just as they returned to their hometown, President He showed up with gifts.
President He called them Mom and Dad right away. Yiyue’s parents felt it was too soon. He tried to compliment her mom's youthfulness but ended up saying the wrong thing. Just as Yiyue was about to ask him to leave, her parents invited him to stay for dinner. During the meal, He Qiaoyan shared his views on marriage and even had a detailed marriage plan ready. Her parents liked him. When asked about Xiaobao, He Qiaoyan honestly told them that Xiaobao was his older brother’s child. Yiyue had just found out too.
At dinner, President He drank a little and burned himself. When getting toothpaste, he felt the warmth of her home and admitted he envied that kind of family vibe. He even planned to stay overnight—sleeping in Yiyue’s room.
