Wei Yunjie, discharged from the hospital, hurried to Zhao Changming's company to help him with business problems. A frustrated Zhao Changming questioned if she had reconciled with Luo Yan and held her hand to comfort her.
Luo Yan arrived at the company, intending to comfort her mother, but was furious to see Zhao Changming holding her mother's hand, believing her mother had deceived her about their breakup. Wei Yunjie explained that she was merely handling business and had indeed broken up with Zhao Changming, but ending a decade-long professional partnership abruptly would cause significant company losses.
Enraged, Luo Yan refused to listen, showed her mother the injury on her head, blaming Zhao Cheng for it, and left.
