Till the End of the Moon Episode 32 Recap
> Till the End of the Moon Recap
Cang Jiumin approached Li Susu, believing she was Ye Xiwu. He asked if it was truly her, but Li Susu denied it, stating she was Li Susu, a disciple of the Hengyang Sect, and that he had mistaken her for someone else.
Cang Jiumin, in an attempt to probe her, began to recount the story of Ming Ye and Sang Jiu from 10,000 years ago, highlighting their tragic love and how Ming Ye, as the God of War, chose to protect his realm over pursuing Sang Jiu due to the impending battle.
Li Susu showed a subtle reaction to the story, specifically when Cang Jiumin mentioned the name Xiao Lin, but she quickly composed herself and reiterated that she was Li Susu before trying to leave. Cang Jiumin pressed further, asking why she wouldn't admit she was Ye Xiwu, but Li Susu maintained her denial, leaving him to wonder why she was hiding her identity. Meanwhile, Si Ying and Jing Mie located the Bone-refining Seal in the Shangqing Realm.
To avoid alerting the immortal sects, Jing Mie traveled to Hengyang Sect to create a diversion, while Si Ying remained to unseal the artifact. The immortal sects, led by Zhao You and Qu Xuanzi, were already prepared. They successfully trapped Jing Mie at Hengyang Sect. During the conflict, Jing Mie boasted that only gods like Ji Ze and Chu Huang were worthy foes, not the assembled immortal cultivators.
In the Shangqing Realm, Cang Jiumin sensed a disturbance at the Spiritual Platform and rushed to investigate. He found Si Ying attempting to break the seal on the Bone-refining Seal. Cang Jiumin intervened, but during their struggle, he inadvertently broke the seal himself. Both fought to claim the artifact, but Cang Jiumin was no match for Si Ying's demonic power and was injured. Li Susu, sensing the anomaly, arrived just in time and helped Cang Jiumin fight Si Ying.
Together, they managed to defeat her, but the Bone-refining Seal was drawn to Cang Jiumin, who possessed the devil fetus, and attempted to merge with his meridians. Li Susu desperately urged Cang Jiumin to resist the demonic corruption and wake up. With immense effort, Cang Jiumin fought off the demonic influence and expelled the Bone-refining Seal from his body. Si Ying, though unable to retrieve the seal, was delighted to have found the long-lost devil fetus.
Realizing the situation was not in her favor, she rescued Jing Mie from the trap at Hengyang Sect, and they both retreated. With the Bone-refining Seal unsealed, Di Mian was finally freed from the Devil God's confinement. He appeared at Hengyang Sect and reunited with his old friend, Qu Xuanzi. Li Susu arrived shortly after, having stabilized Cang Jiumin. Qu Xuanzi then told Li Susu to pay respects to her biological father, Di Mian.
He explained that years ago, while battling a demonic cultivator, he was gravely injured and fell into the Barren Abyss, where Di Mian, who was sealed there by the Devil God, saved his life. In return, Qu Xuanzi promised to find the spirit egg that Di Mian had with his late wife, Chu Huang.
Qu Xuanzi eventually found the spirit egg, placed it in the Magic Well of Sumeru Base for nourishment, and cast its primordial spirit into the mortal realm for numerous reincarnations, eventually leading to Li Susu's birth. Li Susu realized that Chu Huang, the figure from the Bo're Life dream, was her mother, and she guessed that Ye Xiwu, 500 years ago, was an incarnation of her evil soul sent to undergo tribulations.
After the tribulation, her spirit should have returned, but it was damaged by a lightning strike, causing her physical body to spontaneously combust and require ten years of recovery in the Sumeru Base. Understanding her origins, Li Susu finally acknowledged Di Mian as her father. Qu Xuanzi promised Di Mian safe haven in Hengyang Sect, planning to eventually reveal his true identity as the hero who struck down the Devil God, allowing him to be recognized by all.
Simultaneously, the breaking of the Bone-refining Seal also caused Mo Nv's primordial spirit to fully gather. Mo Nv, whose spirit was damaged 10,000 years ago and sent by the Devil God to experience mortal tribulations, was now fully restored and returned to the demon race, much to Si Ying's joy. Having learned her true identity, Li Susu's resolve to fight the Devil God strengthened.
Her mother, Chu Huang, was killed by the Devil God, and her father, Di Mian, was imprisoned by him. Both personally and for the common good, she vowed to use her true god power to defeat the Devil God. Although she had already sealed Cang Jiumin's evil bone, she knew his identity as the devil fetus was sensitive.
She decided to keep it secret from her father for now, planning to reveal it to the world only after she found a way to completely destroy the evil bones. She also resolved to cultivate the Heartless Way, a path to godhood for the Phoenix Clan, to fulfill her mission. Later, Cang Jiumin, having recovered, sought out Li Susu.
He recounted his past, revealing that after Ye Xiwu's death, he spent 500 years searching for her spirit in the corrosive Ruo River, enduring immense pain, until Immortal Zhaoyou rescued him and brought him to the Xiaoyao Sect. He then explained his desire to use a Soul-gathering Array to revive Ye Xiwu and requested a drop of Li Susu's pure immortal blood as a catalyst.
Li Susu refused, telling him she couldn't help him and that the dead should remain at peace. She urged him to forget the past and embrace his identity as Cang Jiumin. Cang Jiumin, however, was adamant that Li Susu was Ye Xiwu, expressing his confusion and pain at her refusal to acknowledge their past. Li Susu responded by comparing Ye Xiwu to a dream that had ended, and that he, too, should awaken from it.
Cang Jiumin, heartbroken, confessed his inability to forget their shared laughter, tears, embraces, and her love and hatred, saying he couldn't simply wake up from such a profound dream. Li Susu insisted she didn't understand him and stated that her dream had ended.
She reiterated that if he truly wanted to atone, he should forget the past and live as Cang Jiumin, while she, Li Susu, the daughter of Chief Qu, had chosen to cultivate the Heartless Way for the rest of her life to eradicate demons. She concluded that their past was gone, and they were strangers in this life, destined to walk separate paths.
Cang Jiumin realized that Ye Xiwu's final words about never meeting him again were sincere, understanding that their hidden love had only truly emerged after their separation. In a separate conversation, Li Susu confided in Gongye Jiwu about her past with Cang Jiumin, acknowledging their deep connection from 500 years ago. She admitted that even though they could not rekindle their romance in this life, her heart could no longer hold anyone else.
Gongye Jiwu, though disheartened, expressed his understanding and wished her happiness. He decided that he needed time to process his feelings and planned to request leave from the sect to hunt demons, hoping to return as her clear-hearted sect brother.
