Shi Diandian returned to the hotel and, while preparing to enter her room with her assistant, overheard her mother and Xu Tian talking inside. She paused, then handed Xu Tian's room card to her assistant for delivery. Later, Fang Fang called Shi Diandian to meet. During their conversation, Shi Diandian expressed her anxieties about Xu Tian. She suspected Xu Tian might be deeply in love with Wen Xiaoyao and that his visit to Beijing was primarily to see her.
Noting that Xu Tian's mother particularly liked the character Bai Suzhen, Shi Diandian reasoned Xu Tian might also favor the actress playing the role, who was Wen Xiaoyao. To prevent them from meeting, she had decided to cancel their planned outing to see the performance of 'Legend of the White Snake'. While they were talking, Xu Tian called Shi Diandian.
Shi Diandian was jumpy, worrying Xu Tian might regret her decision, but Fang Fang urged her to answer, suggesting it was better to face the possibility head-on; if Xu Tian met Wen Xiaoyao and showed no strong reaction, Shi Diandian could feel more secure in their relationship. Shi Diandian went out, then returned to Fang Fang and showed her a photo she had taken of Zhou Tong.
Fang Fang and her assistant were stunned by the exact likeness between Zhou Tong and Xu Tian. Shi Diandian asserted that Xu Tian and Zhou Tong were the same person. Hearing this, Fang Fang instructed her assistant to search for all ballet companies in Beijing. On the way to meet Xu Tian in the hotel lobby, Shi Diandian was close to collapse and briefly vented by shouting.
Upon meeting Xu Tian, who was near a subway exit and heading towards the hotel via an overpass, Shi Diandian became visibly distressed when she briefly lost sight of him. Upon finding him, she expressed her panic, emphasizing that she didn't know anyone in Beijing and urging him not to wander off. She requested he stay within a very close distance of her from then on.
Meanwhile, Qiao Guanghui took Qiaomi to the hospital to visit Yang Yun after she suffered an injury. Zhao Gang and others were also visiting Yang Yun. Yang Yun later called Wen Xiaoyao, telling her to fully dedicate herself to the performance the next day and mentioning she planned to attend. Wen Xiaoyao repeatedly apologized for not visiting.
Later, Qiao Guanghui also spoke to Wen Xiaoyao by phone, informing her about Yang Yun's injury and the change in casting, emphasizing that Wen Xiaoyao needed to focus entirely on her performance the next day. Around the same time, Song Guanwang noticed Zhou Tong seemed troubled, guessing it was due to a breakup. She encouraged him to join her for some square dancing. Downstairs, people were hanging decorative lights for an opera, and Zhou Tong helped hang them.
Wen Xiaoyao rode a shared bike to Zhou Tong's home (near the opera location), hoping to find him, but was told by someone there that he had gone home. Qiao Guanghui drove Zhao Gang back to the ballet troupe premises, where staff were changing promotion posters to feature Wen Xiaoyao.
Zhao Gang loudly expressed concern that Wen Xiaoyao was not at the troupe right before the premiere and instructed Qiao Guanghui to find her and ensure her safety for the performance. Fang Fang simultaneously arrived at the troupe looking for Wen Xiaoyao. She signed in at the entrance and, after hearing Zhao Gang and Qiao Guanghui's conversation, decided to follow Qiao Guanghui when he left to search for Wen Xiaoyao.
Qiao Guanghui drove to Song Guanwang's training center, where he thought he might find Wen Xiaoyao. As he prepared to leave after not finding her, Song Guanwang and Zhou Tong returned face-to-face. Qiao Guanghui asked Zhou Tong if he had seen Wen Xiaoyao, and Song Guanwang informed him that Wen Xiaoyao had just been there by bike. Fang Fang followed Qiao Guanghui's car and stopped at the training center entrance, observing from a distance without getting out.
Zhou Tong noticed her unfamiliar car parked near his home's entrance and approached it out of curiosity. Fang Fang saw him clearly from inside her car and was very surprised, confirming the striking resemblance to Xu Tian. Wen Xiaoyao later rode her bike to the hospital, arriving at the entrance. She met Qiaomi there, who advised her that she didn't need to go upstairs to visit Yang Yun. Wen Xiaoyao insisted on seeing her.
Yin Ye then came out of Yang Yun's room, explaining that Yang Yun preferred not to have visitors at the moment but planned to attend the performance the next day. Outside the hospital, Wen Xiaoyao confronted Qiaomi, asking what she had done to Zhou Tong. Qiaomi seemed concerned Zhou Tong might have spoken to Wen Xiaoyao about her, asking if he had said anything. Wen Xiaoyao replied that she hadn't found him, prompting Qiaomi to abruptly end the conversation by declaring it was "enough" and ride away on her bike.
