As the outside world learned that Nan Ya was highly likely to be acquitted on grounds of self-defense, reporters and Hu Xiu arrived at the criminal police team one after another. The former was there to conduct an in-depth interview on the case, while the latter caused a commotion at the criminal police team, accusing Lin Fanglu and Nan Ya of being former classmates and thus shielding the killer.
Other police officers from the station then had to step in to escort these people out. In addition, Xu Yi's family also came to cause trouble. Lao Chen finally managed to persuade them to leave. Through this incident, Chen Ling knew that Xu Yi was simply in love with someone he couldn't have, that Nan Ya had never loved him from beginning to end, and that she herself was the real clown in this relationship.
