On the way down the mountain, Luo Guanyan was bitten by a snake, which greatly concerned Cheng Yanan. Luo Guanyan seized the opportunity to exaggerate his injury, prompting Cheng Yanan to try and suck out the venom. Upon learning he wasn't poisoned, Cheng Yanan didn't have time to be angry before she broke out in an allergic rash.
Ming Zhu and Ming Lang eagerly wanted to invite Fang Yu over for dinner, but Ming Tian was reluctant to trouble her further. Ming Tian then received a call from Sun Hao, prompting him to rush to the noodle stall to help. It turned out Sun Hao had deliberately arranged this to create an opportunity for Song Xiaomi to spend time with Ming Tian. Trouble arose when Ma Yichen suddenly appeared at the noodle stall.
Ming Tian, not wanting to cause problems for Sun Hao, initially avoided conflict, but Ma Yichen brazenly ordered a large table of dishes, then demanded Ming Tian pay for them. As Ma Yichen's unreasonable behavior escalated, Luo Guanyan arrived and reprimanded him, causing Ma Yichen to angrily leave some money and depart. Moments later, Cheng Yanan appeared, and everyone learned that her allergic reaction was due to running with Luo Guanyan.
Back home, with his older brother out, Ming Lang took the opportunity to prepare some food and discussed inviting Fang Yu over with Ming Zhu. When Ming Tian, Song Xiaomi, and Cheng Yanan returned home, they found Fang Yu playing games with Ming Zhu and Ming Lang. Everyone decided to sit down and eat together.
Song Xiaomi almost managed to coax information out of Ming Lang, but Ming Tian and Fang Yu quickly stuffed his mouth with food to stop him. After leaving Ming Tian's house, Cheng Yanan, full of gossip, asked Fang Yu if she liked Ming Tian, who vehemently denied it. Fang Yu explained that she finds it unfair when others' care for Ming Tian is accepted, but her own is misinterpreted as liking him, comparing the assumption to Fang Zhou's "weird" thinking.
Cheng Yanan insisted Fang Yu's change was too obvious, questioning why she'd come to Ming Tian's house for hot dogs when her own kitchen was so well-stocked. Fang Yu claimed to like "lively places," a claim Cheng Yanan immediately refuted. As Fang Yu's best friend, Cheng Yanan urged honesty, stating it's normal for "The Queen" to want to date. Fang Yu dismissed the idea, stating she could never like someone like Ming Tian, especially since he's younger.
Cheng Yanan corrected her, revealing Ming Tian is a year older and only her junior due to a scholarship. Fang Yu continued to insist that Ming Tian's martial arts skills were inferior, and he wouldn't last thirty seconds against her, concluding he met "not a single" condition for her liking someone. She firmly stated, "I don't like him." Ming Tian, overhearing this conversation, was visibly dejected, holding Fang Yu's water cup as he returned home.
Ming Lang innocently asked why he brought the bottle back and if he failed to catch "Sister Queen," leading Ming Tian to sadly admit she was "too far away from us." At the Zhiying Boxing Club, Luo Guanyan held a meeting, indirectly criticizing Ma Yichen's conduct, highlighting that the spirit of boxing does not include "taunting, violence, cruelty, and grudges." He warned that he would not tolerate such behavior.
Meanwhile, Fang Yu visited the library, choosing books titled "Strong Women," "When A Tigress Meets a Hare," and "Romance Between A Strong Woman and A Weak Man." Ming Tian startled her there, expressing his desire to repay her for the bicycle. Fang Yu initially dismissed his offer, saying she didn't need anything, but Ming Tian insisted on his sincerity. Fang Yu found Ming Tian's behavior unusual, yet her thoughts remained troubled.
Ming Lang received a cake and, assuming it was from Fang Yu or Song Xiaomi, began eating it eagerly. Simultaneously, Song Xiaomi was at the supermarket, buying groceries to cook for Ming Zhu and Ming Lang. Ming Lang soon began to suffer from a stomachache after eating the cake. Fang Yu, visibly distracted, was caught in the rain by Zhang Chunhua.
Under the pretense of asking for advice for Cheng Yanan, Fang Yu described her own situation with Ming Tian to Zhang Chunhua. She explained how a friend (a guy) had offered to return a favor but seemed to be intentionally creating distance. Zhang Chunhua suggested that if "Yanan" (Fang Yu) didn't know her own feelings, then the guy might not know his either, possibly employing a "retreating to advance" strategy to confirm her feelings.
Zhang Chunhua then suggested that "Yanan" should simply ask the guy to do something to uncover his true intentions. This sparked fantasies in Fang Yu's mind, imagining Ming Tian buying her all the strawberry ice cream or heroically declaring her "his woman" while fending off attackers. Later, at the Fang family's corporation, Fang Yu unexpectedly encountered Aunt Ji, who denied knowing her.
Fang Yu, along with Fang Zhou, then visited Sun Hao's noodle stall, where Sun Hao's loquaciousness annoyed the siblings. Ming Lang's stomachache worsened, and Song Xiaomi rushed him to the hospital, with Ming Tian quickly following. Doctors confirmed Ming Lang had food poisoning from spoiled food and needed observation. Ming Tian, learning the cake was the cause, immediately investigated the sender and discovered it was Ma Yichen. Enraged, Ming Tian furiously headed to Zhiying Boxing Club.
Concerned, Song Xiaomi called Cheng Yanan, who then contacted Fang Yu, and they all rushed to Zhiying. At the Zhiying Boxing Club, Ming Tian angrily confronted Ma Yichen but was restrained by several club members. He Xiaofeng appeared, supporting Ma Yichen. Ming Tian clarified his dispute was solely with Ma Yichen, but He Xiaofeng stepped in and fiercely beat Ming Tian. Luo Guanyan intervened, stopping the fight and admonishing He Xiaofeng and the other club members for their mob behavior.
Ming Tian then revealed that Ma Yichen had delivered spoiled food, causing his younger brother to be hospitalized with food poisoning, but Ma Yichen vehemently denied the accusation. Meanwhile, Song Xiaomi entrusted Sun Hao with the care of Ming Zhu and Ming Lang at the hospital and hurried to Zhiying. Fang Yu and Cheng Yanan arrived at Zhiying, demanding Ming Tian's release from Luo Guanyan. Luo Guanyan, however, insisted on first investigating whether Ma Yichen was truly responsible.
When Ming Tian appeared, bruised and battered, Song Xiaomi was outraged. Fang Yu suggested they settle the rivalry between Zhengze and Zhiying with a direct confrontation. However, Zhang Chunhua arrived, announcing that the president had ordered an immediate halt to all outdoor activities for Zhengze students. Later, the school president discussed the incident, revealing Zhiying's director had demanded an explanation.
Ming Tian took full responsibility, but Fang Yu argued that Ming Tian was only defending his family against Ma Yichen's malicious actions. Song Xiaomi passionately described Ming Lang's suffering in the hospital. The president acknowledged his sympathy but questioned Ming Tian's method and stressed the importance of upholding school rules. Defiantly, Fang Yu, Song Xiaomi, and Cheng Yanan declared they would withdraw from the academy if Ming Tian were expelled.
Fang Yu articulated that studying martial arts was not just for physical prowess but for the more crucial purpose of "helping others," asserting that failing to protect one's family went against the spirit of Zhengze.
