Leo demanded compensation for the previous day's two slaps, suggesting she pay money or, if not, accompany him for a meal. Tiffany vehemently rejected paying but agreed to eat with him. Meanwhile, Li Weiwei, disguised as a nurse, was with Chen's mother in the ward, happily playing mahjong on a tablet. Chen’s mother had sent Tiffany away to buy the buns.
Suddenly hearing Chen Yidu enter, Chen’s mother quickly hid the tablet under her covers and pretended to be unconcerned, while Li Weiwei continued her nurse charade. The doctor, mistaking Li Weiwei for nurse Xiao Zhou, instructed her to give Chen Yidu a fever injection. Li Weiwei was momentarily flustered but then, recalling Chen Yidu's annoying behavior, decided to get revenge with the shot.
As Chen Yidu exposed part of his buttock for the injection, he noticed the nurse's nervous demeanor and familiar appearance. He pulled down her mask, discovering it was Li Weiwei. Startled by his sudden action, Li Weiwei nervously jabbed the needle hard into his buttock, causing him to cry out in pain. Back in the ward, Chen Yidu found his mother still playing mahjong on the tablet and learned it was Li Weiwei who had brought it. He took the tablet and saw Li Weiwei's photos, along with a specially installed GPS tracking system designed to prevent his mother from getting lost again. A slight smile appeared on Chen Yidu's usually impassive face, signaling his understanding of Li Weiwei's thoughtful intentions.
Chen’s mother then confided in her son that while Tiffany was "not bad," she inexplicably preferred Li Weiwei. Later, Chen’s mother messaged Li Weiwei, expressing how much she missed her. Li Weiwei immediately left work and rushed to the hospital to accompany her. Li Weiwei brought a hair curler, face masks, and cosmetics to cheer up Chen's mother. As they were happily bonding, Chen Yidu entered the room, followed by the doctor. Observing their joyful interaction, the doctor told Chen Yidu that his mother seemed very fond of Li Weiwei.
