Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei's relationship officially began, filling their days with newfound sweetness. Mai Sichong found it impossible to hide the affection in his eyes, even stealing a smile as he watched Mei Weiwei walk away. Before parting ways for the night, he playfully asked Mei Weiwei if she truly accepted him and if she would regret her decision. Mei Weiwei joked about his "electricity," to which Mai Sichong assured her that he loved her regardless.
He then urged her to return to her dorm for the upcoming competition, but she lingered, enjoying their moment. Later, back in the dormitory, Junjun got out of bed to talk with Yuxin. They excitedly discussed Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei's public confession, calling it a memorable event at their university. Yuxin, observing Junjun's quiet demeanor, cautiously asked if the person Junjun truly liked was not Xia Rui. Their conversation was interrupted by Mei Weiwei's joyful return.
Mei Weiwei, brimming with love, shared her excitement about Mai Sichong, mentioning that the snacks she brought were Mai Sichong's treat for everyone. Peng Pai denied it, though his expression betrayed him. Their conversation was abruptly cut short by a text message revealing that their boss, Mr. Zhang Weixin, was resigning. Receiving this news, they immediately headed to the company. The anticipated swimming competition finally commenced.
Mei Weiwei and her friends were there as family and supporters, enthusiastically cheering for Mai Sichong and his teammates. After the competition, Peng Pai met Mr. Zhang Weixin at a restaurant. Peng Pai tried to convince Mr. Zhang to reconsider his resignation, but Mr. Zhang had made up his mind. He explained that FT, their company, "never keeps useless people" and encouraged Peng Pai to try again, acknowledging his capability and ambition.
For his part, Mr. Zhang revealed his desire for an easier job to dedicate more time to his daughter, Yuxin, admitting his regret for neglecting her during her formative years. He raised a toast to Peng Pai, wishing him a bright future, leaving Peng Pai with a mix of gratitude and bitterness. To celebrate Mai Sichong's victory in the competition, his mother suggested a celebration.
Ding Yi proposed that Mai Sichong treat everyone, and Mai Sichong generously offered a VVIP hot spring experience, complete with single private pools. Everyone excitedly agreed. As the group settled into the entertainment room, Mai Sichong took Mei Weiwei out to the garden for some privacy. Though they had shared physical contact before, their new romantic relationship made them feel shy.

However, Junjun felt uncomfortable and later, finding a moment alone with Xia Rui, expressed her disapproval. She told him that Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei were a couple, and she did not want to interfere with their relationship. Xia Rui, while trying to defend Junjun's long-standing feelings for Mai Sichong, was reminded by Junjun that "not all affections have good results," and she preferred her feelings to remain unspoken.
Junjun urged Xia Rui not to make things awkward for her again, and he reluctantly agreed. Later, while four of them were enjoying the hot spring, Li Daixi asked Mei Weiwei about her "first kiss" with Mai Sichong. Mei Weiwei explained it wasn't their first as she had given him artificial respiration when he fainted in the pool after an injury. Suddenly, Mei Weiwei received a text from Mai Sichong, asking her to meet him in the "little garden."
When she arrived, Mai Sichong sheepishly presented her with small fireworks, apologizing for not finding larger ones and explaining that Ding Yi had advised him that girls liked "bright and sparkling things." He lit the fireworks, their soft glow illuminating their faces, and then began to confess his feelings. He revealed that before meeting her, his world was a "monotonous blue" of swimming, but she had made it "colorful."
He admitted that while he was fearless in competition, he was nervous and unsure of himself with her because it was his first relationship. Mei Weiwei was deeply touched by his sincere and vulnerable words. As massive fireworks suddenly burst into the sky, Mei Weiwei, tears in her eyes, initiated a kiss, firmly confessing her love for Mai Sichong once more. Mai Sichong reciprocated, kissing her lips again. Amidst the grand fireworks, dressed in their bathrobes, they shared their true first romantic kiss.
