Sparkle Love Recap

Episode 1 Recap

Mei Weiwei found herself caught in a sudden downpour outside her classroom building, watching as other girls were picked up by their boyfriends. Her own phone only delivered a message from a friend unable to help: "I can't come now. Just figure it out yourself." As she stood there, Mei Weiwei was accidentally bumped by an umbrella from behind, falling forward. The impact caused a current to swiftly discharge from her palm, spreading through the rain.

Mei Weiwei had a unique condition: since birth, her body generated an unusually high level of bioelectricity, akin to a "Pikachu constitution." If her heart rate exceeded 110 beats per minute, she would indiscriminately release an electric current, with the voltage increasing as her heart beat faster. This electricity wasn't harmful; instead, it caused those who were shocked to fall in love with the first person they saw, an effect that would only last for a maximum of twenty-four hours.

Mei Weiwei viewed this special ability as nothing but "endless troubles." Soaked, Mei Weiwei rushed into her classroom, only to find the class meeting almost over. Ms. Meiling, her teacher, greeted her with a critical tone, remarking, "The class meeting is almost over. You just got here?" Mei Weiwei apologized, explaining, "I had an accident on my way."

Ms. Meiling then brought up Zhang Yuxin, who had been absent for three weeks, and asked Mei Weiwei, who shared a dorm with Zhang Yuxin, to find out what was going on. Their "experimental class," a rehabilitation class, consisted of only three students, with Lin Baihui, the only male student, serving as the class monitor. After a few brief announcements, Ms. Meiling hastily concluded the meeting. Mei Weiwei attempted to speak with Ms. Meiling privately, saying, "Do you have time?

I would like to talk to you alone," but the teacher, claiming to be in a hurry for another meeting, dismissed her, telling her to come to the Lecture Hall later that afternoon. Later, at a well-appointed café, Mei Weiwei received a Matcha Latte from her roommate, Zhang Yuxin, who was working there.

Mei Weiwei relayed Ms. Meiling’s concerns about Zhang Yuxin’s absence, to which Zhang Yuxin replied that she had already informed Ms. Meiling by phone that she was working part-time at the café and therefore couldn't attend classes. Mei Weiwei then turned to Li Daixi, seated opposite her, asking, "Why didn't you come to pick me up today? Where have you been?" Li Daixi, looking a bit guilty, leaned in and whispered that she had a new crush. "

I get a boy I like. He is the NO.1 I met when I interviewed the swim team today." She described how Ding Yi, a member of the swim team, introduced her to Mai Sichong, praising his achievements: "He is Mai Sichong. His best time in the 100-meter freestyle is 50. 35 seconds. He is the man of the hour in high school."

Li Daixi, a reporter for the School TV Station specializing in sports journalism, found herself captivated by Mai Sichong's confident and passionate demeanor during their interview. When asked about his goal, Mai Sichong declared, "Be the first. Past accomplishments don't mean anything. I want to be the first in the next competition." He also emphatically stated, "There is no love in sports competition.

I am the one who will fight for my country and only fall in love with the competition." Li Daixi was utterly smitten, gushing, "He is so handsome. I have a hunch that he will be my last boyfriend." Now, she hoped Mei Weiwei would use her unique ability to accelerate this budding romance. Mei Weiwei initially refused, reminding Li Daixi, "I promise my mom I won't get into any more trouble after going to college."

However, Li Daixi sweetened the deal, offering to take Mei Weiwei's massage practice class in exchange, stating, "Anyway, the massage teacher doesn't know you," and guaranteeing Mei Weiwei would "get a 90+ in Massage Practice." Mei Weiwei reluctantly agreed, making Li Daixi promise, "You must do what you promise me." Mei Weiwei had wanted to discuss transferring to the School of Economics and Management with Ms. Meiling, believing her special constitution made the rehabilitation courses, especially massage, unsuitable.

Ms. Meiling, however, dismissed her concerns, demanding Mei Weiwei achieve a first-semester average score of 90 or above to even consider her transfer request, leaving Mei Weiwei in a difficult position. By coincidence, Mei Weiwei later encountered Mai Sichong and Ding Yi at a classroom door. It turned out Mai Sichong was the one who had accidentally bumped into her in the rain. Mei Weiwei confronted him about the previous day.

Mai Sichong's response was curt, after Mei Weiwei's declaration, "I accept the apology and please be careful next time." As Mei Weiwei tried to press the issue further, she accidentally "chair-domed" Mai Sichong against a desk, leading to the entire classroom erupting in teasing and chants of "Kiss, kiss." Mortified, Mei Weiwei fled, leaving Mai Sichong to shrug helplessly. That evening, a dispirited Mei Weiwei returned to her dorm.

Under pressure to achieve good grades, she had no choice but to uphold her agreement with Li Daixi to help Mai Sichong fall in love. In their dorm, the third roommate, Junjun, silently placed a plate of sliced fruit before Mei Weiwei and Li Daixi before quickly retreating. Li Daixi wondered if Junjun's silence was due to her moving into the dorm unannounced.

Mei Weiwei calmly stated that she had only ever heard Junjun speak a single word ("Here") since military training. The next day, Li Daixi and Mei Weiwei went to the swimming pool, slipping in during the swim team's training break. Mei Weiwei approached Ms. Peipei, the coach, under the pretense that she was from the Rehabilitation Class and needed someone to "practice" on for her practical lessons, claiming she was "stupid and can't remember."

To her dismay, Ms. Peipei assigned Mai Sichong to her, the very person who had bumped into her and whom she had embarrassed. The previous day's public encounter made both Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong feel awkward, but Ms. Peipei, unfazed, urged them to continue. Mei Weiwei seized the opportunity for some playful revenge during the "massage" session, which resulted in Mai Sichong accidentally falling into the water.

Angered, Mai Sichong mistook Mei Weiwei for another one of his "crazy fans" and sternly rejected her "fan behavior," stating, "I warn you. I don't like you. Please be sensible." Mei Weiwei retorted, "I don't like you either." Ding Yi tried to explain Mai Sichong's nature, saying, "He likes nothing but swimming."

While Li Daixi tried to distract Mai Sichong with more interview questions about his swimming history and whether he had ever had a crush on a girl, Mei Weiwei prepared to make contact and deliver an electric shock. However, a fleeting glimpse of a white figure near the exit of the swimming pool caught Mei Weiwei's eye, causing her to miss her chance.

When Li Daixi pressed her about why she stopped, Mei Weiwei only vaguely replied, "I think I saw an acquaintance. But I should be wrong." Despite the setback, Mei Weiwei, determined to help Li Daixi, offered to get Mai Sichong's WeChat. She sent him a message: "I'm Mei Weiwei. I'm sorry about today. Can I ask you out to apologize in person?" However, Mai Sichong curtly rejected her friend request, stating, "My WeChat is not for anyone."

A system message confirmed, "The message is successfully sent but rejected by the receiver." Later, a luxury car pulled up at the school gate, and Mai Sichong's mother met with him. She informed him that a "report of yours" was still at school, mentioning that "it involves the personal privacy of the student, so the public can't see it easily." This news deeply troubled Mai Sichong, who anxiously declared, "There must be no accidents."

His mother advised him not to worry. Overhearing his mother's words, Mai Sichong then spotted his roommate, Ding Yi, who managed the keys to the data room. Mai Sichong surreptitiously took Ding Yi's keys, leading to a brief chase around the track, but Ding Yi eventually relented. Mei Weiwei, observing this from a distance, quickly called Li Daixi, sending her the location and urging her to "come quickly."

Mei Weiwei followed Mai Sichong to the data room, watching him frantically search through files. He eventually found the document he was looking for and clutched it tightly as he left the room. Li Daixi arrived shortly after, and the three of them were soon engaged in a chase. Mei Weiwei devised a plan, using a doll costume as a disguise and distraction. As she reached out, Mai Sichong unexpectedly grabbed her hand.

In that instant, an electric current flowed between them, their eyes meeting. However, Li Daixi mistakenly believed that Mai Sichong had fallen in love with her, excitedly asking Mei Weiwei, "You think it just worked, right? He just had stars in his eyes when he met my eyes. Was he shy?" Mei Weiwei could only offer a noncommittal "I think so." Meanwhile, back in his dorm, Mai Sichong found the doll head Mei Weiwei had worn earlier.

As he looked at it and recalled the moment in Avatar Square, his heart began to pound, signaling that the true spark of connection had been between him and Mei Weiwei.

Episode 2 Recap

Mai Sichong, after hiding a medical examination report he had secretly obtained, saw Mei Weiwei rushing by and quickly excused himself from his roommates to follow her. Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei and Li Daixi were anxiously searching for a lost Pikachu doll head. Mei Weiwei received a text message requesting the return of the costume, indicating it was needed by the Student Union for an activity, so they abandoned their search.

The person in charge then tried to demand an exorbitant 6000 yuan in compensation for the "lost" head, claiming it was a rare Japanese import and refusing any discount. Just then, Mai Sichong, identified as a member of the swim team, appeared, throwing the Pikachu head at the person and accusing them of fraud and bullying Mei Weiwei. Mei Weiwei pulled Mai Sichong aside. He questioned why she was cross-examining him instead of thanking him for finding the costume.

Mei Weiwei wondered if he was seeking her attention, to which Mai Sichong confessed he didn't know, he just felt an urge to be closer to her. The intimate proximity made Mei Weiwei realize that her "superpower" had once again caused someone to fall for her. Embarrassed, she quickly fled, rejecting his invitation for dinner. Back in her dorm, Mei Weiwei was frantic, not knowing how to explain to Li Daixi that Mai Sichong had fallen for her.

She was frustrated by the unexpected failure of her "superpower" to target the right person. Her quiet roommate, Jun Jun, emerged from the bathroom, having overheard everything, and assured Mei Weiwei that she would keep the secret from Li Daixi. At a cafe, Mei Weiwei reported to Li Daixi that while the costume was found, her plan to "electrify" Mai Sichong had failed because the Pikachu head was too big, obstructing her vision.

Despite Li Daixi's disappointment, Mei Weiwei promised to try again with a new plan. Elsewhere, in a packed classroom, Peng Pai, a senior from the Senior Sport Administration Class, delivered a captivating presentation about his internship experience at a prominent sports brokerage, becoming the object of admiration for many students, including Ai Ning, who publicly declared her feelings. Peng Pai gracefully deflected the romantic advances, encouraging questions about volunteering instead.

Later, Peng Pai went to the infirmary to collect psychology test results for his class. There, he encountered Mai Sichong, who mistook him for a counselor. Mai Sichong, a first-year student from the Swimming Class, the College of Competitive Sports, began to confide that he felt "sick" and "crazy" since meeting a particular girl, experiencing constant "hallucinations" of her and an uncontrollable desire to be near her.

Peng Pai, instead of diagnosing an illness, explained that these were common signs of falling in love and suggested Mai Sichong consult friends about how to approach girls. After retrieving his files, Peng Pai revealed his true identity as a fellow student and promised to keep Mai Sichong's private confession a secret. Mai Sichong, now understanding his feelings, felt a renewed sense of purpose. Armed with this newfound clarity, Mai Sichong deliberately sat behind Mei Weiwei in class.

After the lecture, he made a public declaration of his love for her, asking her to be his girlfriend, which was met with cheers from their classmates. Mei Weiwei, mortified, hastily left the classroom. In the plaza, she confronted Mai Sichong, suggesting his feelings were a "dream" that would vanish if he simply went home and slept. Mai Sichong, however, insisted his feelings were genuine, having pondered them for over ten hours.

As Mei Weiwei tried to escape his persistence, she accidentally collided with Mai Sichong's mother. Mai Sichong boldly introduced Mei Weiwei as his "expected girlfriend." His mother was immediately charmed and warmly invited Mei Weiwei to her birthday lunch. Despite Mei Weiwei's attempts to decline, she was swept along. News of Mai Sichong's public confession and his meeting with his mother spread rapidly across campus, much to Li Daixi's fury when she saw the widespread gossip and photos.

At Mai Sichong's home, his parents were excessively hospitable, making Mei Weiwei uncomfortable with their constant remarks about Mai Sichong's lack of previous girlfriends and her being special. Mai Sichong, trying to ease her awkwardness, offered to order takeout, but his parents insisted their home cooking was superior. When Mai Sichong went to fetch Mei Weiwei a glass of water, he accidentally bumped his leg and winced in pain.

His mother, noticing his distress, immediately pulled him into a private room. She sternly scolded him, revealing that he had a serious, unrecovered leg injury and that overtraining could lead to permanent damage. She reminded him that his enrollment in Sports University was intended for his recovery. Mai Sichong confessed he was trying to hide the injury from his team leader to secure a spot on the provincial team next year, stressing the importance of upcoming competitions.

His mother urged him to prioritize his health and follow the doctor's advice. On their way back to school, Mai Sichong clarified that his mother's invitation wasn't his idea. Mei Weiwei, declining his mother's snacks, cryptically told Mai Sichong that "everything will be fine after tonight" before attempting to leave. Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Peng Pai. Mai Sichong greeted him enthusiastically.

Peng Pai then said, "Long time no see," to which Mei Weiwei, appearing surprised, addressed him as "Peng Yan." Mai Sichong corrected her, stating his name was "Peng Pai," and Mei Weiwei quickly departed. Mai Sichong, confused by Mei Weiwei's reaction, confided in Peng Pai about her sudden coldness. Peng Pai then realized that Mei Weiwei was the same girl Mai Sichong had described his intense feelings for in the infirmary.

He shared that Mei Weiwei was a fast runner from the track team in high school and implied she might have shown interest in him first, but advised Mai Sichong to simply endure one more night. Back in her dorm, Li Daixi confronted Mei Weiwei about the public photos and Mai Sichong's persistent calls.

Mei Weiwei finally confessed that she had encountered "Peng Yan," who had renamed himself Peng Pai after studying abroad, and admitted she had been so flustered that she "ran." Li Daixi scolded her for the impulsive reaction but also warned her against using her "superpower" on Peng Pai, fearing even greater complications if he were to fall for her.

Mei Weiwei then fully admitted her mistake with Mai Sichong: she had "electrified the wrong person," causing him to fall in love with her. She reassured Li Daixi that Mai Sichong's infatuation would subside in a few hours, after which they could proceed with "Plan B," which she guaranteed would be foolproof this time. Later, Peng Pai and Mai Sichong met again to discuss Mei Weiwei.

Mai Sichong expressed his confusion over Mei Weiwei's mixed signals, fluctuating between apparent interest and outright rejection. Peng Pai, hinting at deeper knowledge, calmly advised Mai Sichong to remain patient and simply endure one more night. Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei continued to receive a barrage of ardent WeChat messages from Mai Sichong, followed shortly by a new friend request from Peng Pai. The next morning, the "superpower's" effect on Mai Sichong wore off.

Waking up to his phone, he was horrified to see the numerous, overly affectionate WeChat messages he had sent Mei Weiwei, shocked by his own "crazy actions" and wondering what had transpired. Elsewhere, Mei Weiwei, intent on helping Li Daixi, discreetly asked Ding Yi about the swim team's night training schedule, offering him a drink. Ding Yi confirmed that while the team didn't have official night training, Mai Sichong always went.

He then asked if Mei Weiwei was planning a surprise for Mai Sichong. Later, Peng Pai approached Mei Weiwei, expressing a desire to apologize for a past event, but Mei Weiwei quickly cut him off, claiming to have forgotten it, and hastily left, citing a class.

Mai Sichong, now back to his normal self, confided in Ding Yi that "love at first sight is unreliable" and that if Mei Weiwei were to approach him now, the ball would be "up to him," much to Ding Yi's surprise at his sudden change in attitude. At the poolside, Mei Weiwei and Li Daixi waited for Mai Sichong. Li Daixi began to feign drowning, crying for help, to lure Mai Sichong into the water.

Mei Weiwei urged him to rescue her. Mai Sichong, however, was skeptical, noting the pool's shallow depth and Li Daixi's unconvincing act. Mei Weiwei insisted Li Daixi had a leg cramp, but Mai Sichong, spotting his coach, was about to leave. In a desperate move, Mei Weiwei pushed Mai Sichong into the pool, accidentally falling in herself. Just then, Ding Yi, passing by, saw Li Daixi struggling and courageously jumped in to rescue her.

Simultaneously, all four individuals in the water were struck by a strange electric current, and their hearts began to pound. Mai Sichong, bewildered, discovered that his voice had become high-pitched and immediately questioned Mei Weiwei about what she had done to him.

Episode 3 Recap

After the pool incident, Mai Sichong's voice had turned feminine, and he desperately sought various remedies to restore it, but without success. He confronted Mei Weiwei, demanding to know what she had done to him and insisting she return his voice to normal. Mei Weiwei, though finding his new voice amusing, initially suggested it was due to training pressure and inflammation. Mai Sichong dismissed her explanation, reminding her that his voice only changed after she kissed him.

Ultimately, Mei Weiwei agreed to take responsibility for him, promising to be with him all day, but asked him to stop talking. Meanwhile, Li Daixi confronted Ding Yi, asking why they were following her. Ding Yi claimed they were just there to buy something, which led Li Daixi to comment on their unexpected needs. Mai Sichong, also present, felt embarrassed by his feminine voice, wondering if he appeared as a woman needing a razor.

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei then quietly entered a classroom. Mai Sichong helped Mei Weiwei secure a front-row seat, but Mei Weiwei urged him to remain inconspicuous to avoid drawing attention, especially with his altered voice. During the lesson, Mai Sichong kept his head down, prompting Mei Weiwei to ask why, reminding him of her desire for discretion. Mai Sichong confidently retorted that they would be together one day.

After class, Mai Sichong was surrounded by female classmates eager to talk and get his contact information. Mei Weiwei intervened, claiming Mai Sichong had a meeting with a teacher, and pulled him away to have lunch. At the cafeteria, Li Daixi joined them. Mei Weiwei noticed Li Daixi's attention was primarily on Ding Yi, who commented on being fascinated. Mei Weiwei, however, mistakenly believed Li Daixi was upset with her for "stealing" Mai Sichong.

When Li Daixi left the restaurant, Mei Weiwei followed. Ding Yi soon realized that Mai Sichong’s voice had returned to normal. Overjoyed, Mai Sichong was eager to tell Mei Weiwei, but Ding Yi advised against it, suggesting that Mei Weiwei's recent indifference meant she wouldn't respond positively. Mai Sichong briefly took Ding Yi's advice. Mei Weiwei, still concerned about Li Daixi's anger, was then intercepted by Peng Pai. Mei Weiwei initially tried to dismiss him, claiming she was busy.

Mai Sichong then appeared nearby, trying to get Mei Weiwei's attention, causing Mei Weiwei to reluctantly engage with Peng Pai to escape Mai Sichong. In a quieter corridor, Peng Pai started a conversation, asking about her studies and current major. Mei Weiwei revealed she was in Rehabilitation but wished to change her major to sports economics.

She also questioned Peng Pai's presence at the university, having heard he was abroad, and asked why he had changed his name, which created an awkward atmosphere due to their shared past. Peng Pai invited her to a senior dinner party, mentioning a senior who had transferred her major would be there. Mei Weiwei declined, stating she had other plans. Despite the refusal, Peng Pai offered his WeChat, which Mei Weiwei accepted.

Back at the dormitory, Mei Weiwei found Li Daixi packing her bags. Li Daixi angrily accused Mei Weiwei of repeatedly hiding things from her, mistakenly believing Mei Weiwei liked Mai Sichong. Mei Weiwei vehemently denied this, saying she would be crazy to like him. Li Daixi then brought up Peng Pai, suggesting Mei Weiwei flirt with him as well. Mei Weiwei became furious, and despite Li Daixi's subsequent regret for her words, Li Daixi stormed out of the dormitory.

Left alone, Mei Weiwei angrily hung up Mai Sichong's phone call after he insisted she couldn't abandon him, reminding her of her promise to take care of him. Mai Sichong unexpectedly followed Mei Weiwei to the library. There, Mei Weiwei was discussing with the class monitor about forming a massage club to earn extra credits, which required ten members. Mei Weiwei agreed to join the club, making them two members, and eagerly suggested they start a survey immediately.

The class monitor, who had just borrowed a rare copy of the "Inner Canon of Huangdi", hesitated. Mai Sichong, feeling ignored, impatiently pulled Mei Weiwei away, interrupting her plans. Mei Weiwei was surprised to hear his voice had returned to normal and accused him of lying earlier. Mai Sichong claimed he had to help her with the survey, asserting that she was "his." He then took charge, leading her on a campus-wide survey.

Later, at a coffee shop, Mei Weiwei tried to gently persuade Mai Sichong, suggesting they not meet for a while, as his sudden affection for her seemed irrational and might fade. Mai Sichong vehemently denied this, insisting his feelings were genuine. Mei Weiwei, unable to make him understand, apologized and left. A dejected Mai Sichong confided in Ding Yi about his rejected confession.

Ding Yi, claiming expertise in love games, advised Mai Sichong against direct confessions, suggesting he needed to "create an atmosphere" with flowers, music, and ceremony. Mai Sichong, taking this advice, planned a romantic gesture. He sent Mei Weiwei a "treasure map" to lead her to "Avatar Square," to which Mei Weiwei reacted with confusion.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the square, Peng Pai was having dinner with a group of senior students, including Qiaoqiao, a senior who had transferred her major. When Peng Pai saw Mei Weiwei hesitating nearby, he persuaded her to join, using the excuse that she could learn about transferring her major from Qiaoqiao. Mei Weiwei reluctantly sat down, and Qiaoqiao mentioned that Peng Pai often spoke of her.

Mai Sichong, who had been waiting for Mei Weiwei with a tricycle full of flowers, received information from Ding Yi regarding Mei Weiwei being with Peng Pai, which enraged him. Convinced Mei Weiwei was with Peng Pai as if they were a sweet couple, Mai Sichong stormed over to their gathering, angrily confronted Mei Weiwei for breaking their "appointment," and forcefully dragged her away, apologizing to the other seniors.

Peng Pai tried to intervene, telling Mai Sichong to let go of Mei Weiwei. Mai Sichong led her to his "surprise"—a tricycle filled with flowers. Stunned by the grand display and sudden public confession, Mei Weiwei backed away. Her heart pounded faster, and a strange current from her palms climbed the stone wall behind her. One by one, the decorative lights of the power-cut square flickered on, brilliantly illuminating the area. Mai Sichong, overwhelmed, found himself lost in the golden glow. He then asked Mei Weiwei if she could accept him.

Episode 4 Recap

The moment Mai Sichong moved closer to Mei Weiwei and began to confess his feelings, her rapidly beating heart caused the electric current in her palms to intensify. As the heart rate displayed on her watch quickly climbed, electricity was about to be released again. To avoid a forced "love at first sight" effect, Mei Weiwei tightly embraced Mai Sichong to prevent eye contact. However, it was too late.

The sudden surge of light and the electric shock on his arm made Mai Sichong realize something was amiss. When Mai Sichong repeatedly pressed her for answers, Mei Weiwei had no choice but to reveal the secret of her electriferous body.

She explained that her body only generated electricity when her heart rate exceeded 110 beats per minute, and if she touched him and looked into his eyes while electrified, he would experience the illusion of liking her, an effect that would only last 24 hours. Mai Sichong, feeling the lingering sensation, found it incredibly real, even remarking that his heart rate increased just by looking into her eyes.

Mei Weiwei, frustrated by his insistent questions, offered a brief apology and hurried away. Feeling that he had become nothing more than a clown, repeatedly jumping through hoops under Mei Weiwei's special ability, Mai Sichong's emotions surged to an extreme. This heightened state of mind inadvertently affected his performance in the swimming pool, leading to a new personal best that was only 0. 4 seconds shy of his peak high school record.

His teammate Ding Yi noted his impressive time of 50. 35 seconds, attributing it to either love or anger. Mai Sichong, still in a foul mood, dismissed it as his "anger reaching its peak" and vowed to continue training to avenge his recent humiliation. Ding Yi mused about Mai Sichong's unique connection between his emotions and training, jokingly calling him a "swimming robot."

Mai Sichong cryptically hinted at the possibility of extraordinary things, like a Flashman, suggesting that even if no one believed it, it could still be real. Still seething, Mai Sichong angrily demanded that Mei Weiwei serve as his personal attendant for 24 hours, threatening to expose her secret if she refused.

Mei Weiwei reluctantly complied, enduring tasks like paying for Mai Sichong's substantial breakfast order of ten baozi, five duck legs, and three steamed shrimps, and then fetching him milk tea, as he claimed the "lights made his mouth dry." He further demanded she peel his shrimps, to which she initially resisted, but quickly gave in when he threatened to sing the Pikachu theme song.

Later, he coerced her into recording his university listening test, justifying it by saying he gets sleepy in the afternoon and might "inadvertently blurt out" her secret. Meanwhile, Ding Yi and Li Daixi, observing the peculiar situation, engaged in their usual playful banter. Ding Yi mockingly called her "Li dull xi," while Li Daixi retorted with equal sharpness, denying any romantic interest in him and calling him self-absorbed.

Late that night, Mei Weiwei finished preparing the group presentation slides by herself, which she had sent to her roommates, reminding them to attend the next day's report as they were the first to present. Both roommates, Yuxin and Jun Jun, appeared in class the next day, a rare occurrence for Yuxin who usually had shifts but had found someone to swap with. To Mei Weiwei's dismay, Mai Sichong also appeared, sitting behind her with a cold expression.

Knowing his sudden presence spelled trouble, Mei Weiwei did her best to deliver her presentation. However, Mai Sichong interrupted with perplexing questions about "electrotherapy" and its application to her rehabilitation major, repeatedly referencing "electricity." The teacher tried to guide him, but Mai Sichong persisted, asking Mei Weiwei directly if she, with her supposed knowledge of electricity, could answer him. Mei Weiwei's efforts to deflect were in vain, and the presentation ended awkwardly.

As Mai Sichong continued to bother her outside class, calling her "Pikachu," Mei Weiwei begged him to stop mentioning "electricity." Alone, Mai Sichong reflected on his actions, feeling conflicted, wondering why he was acting this way, and secretly checking his phone. When his friend (presumably a roommate) teased him about "Sister Wei," Mai Sichong angrily denied any connection to Mei Weiwei and warned his friend to keep his distance from her.

Peng Pai arrived at Mai Sichong's home with his sports brokerage company boss. The boss tried to persuade Mai Sichong's parents to allow him to join the company, subtly probing into the reasons Mai Sichong had given up a spot on the provincial team years ago. Mai Sichong's parents, however, became visibly uncomfortable and evasive, indicating a hidden secret. The boss eventually dropped the subject. The boss introduced Peng Pai as being from Southern Sport University.

Peng Pai confirmed he was an economics major and knew Sichong, and was already interning. Mai Sichong's parents, grateful for Peng Pai's help with their "unsophisticated" son, were clearly hesitant about their son becoming a "sports star" and preferred he just happily pursued sports. Peng Pai quietly observed the scene throughout.

Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei once again had to humble herself before the Students' Association Union senior, the same one she had clashed with over the headgear incident, to secure his signature for her new club. To get his approval, Mei Weiwei was forced into doing free labor. The senior, relishing his power, not only withheld the signature but also piled on more work and verbally mocked her, questioning her club's legitimacy by comparing it to a blind massage parlor.

After making her paste wrong posters and then re-do them, he snidely remarked that a "service industry" club should be willing to "serve everyone." Unable to tolerate his behavior, Mai Sichong burst out, urging Mei Weiwei to use her "electricity" on him.

Mei Weiwei was deeply hurt by his words, reminding him of the painful past when accidental electric shocks led to misunderstandings, her best friend abandoning her, and rumors circulating at school, ultimately forcing her to transfer and decide to change her major. Overhearing her heartfelt confession, Mai Sichong felt a pang of guilt, apologizing profusely and promising never to reveal her secret again, acknowledging that her desire to establish the club was tied to her goal of changing majors.

Through a series of accidental electric shocks, Mai Sichong's swimming performance continued to improve. Seeking a faster way to enhance his physical abilities, Mai Sichong finally considered Mei Weiwei's special ability, recalling how his heart rate increased after contact with her and how his swimming speed had improved. While researching "electrotherapy" in the library, Mai Sichong coincidentally ran into Peng Pai.

Mai Sichong hastily departed, leaving behind a book on electrotherapy, which Peng Pai noticed, seemingly understanding the true reason for Mai Sichong's hurried exit. Later, Mai Sichong called Mei Weiwei and asked her to meet him at the swimming pool that night, claiming he had something important to tell her that couldn't be discussed over the phone. When Mei Weiwei arrived, he simply asked her to time him. She was mesmerized watching Mai Sichong glide effortlessly through the water.

After he emerged from the pool and she mistakenly reported his time as "51 minutes 46," Mei Weiwei finally came to her senses, realizing his true intention for bringing her there: he was there to ask her to electrify him.

Episode 5 Recap

Mai Sichong, frustrated with his swimming performance of 51. 46 seconds, specifically asked Mei Weiwei to "electrify" him. Mei Weiwei repeatedly refused, but their past accidental physical contacts—like inadvertently pulling off a towel and touching his bare chest—had made her heart race. Concerned he might develop feelings for her, she strongly refused his request, calling it "insane." Mai Sichong clarified his intention, believing her electric touch would help him swim faster, and denied having any illness.

However, a phone call from her class monitor, Lin Baihui, gave Mei Weiwei an excuse to leave, reiterating her refusal to Mai Sichong. Mei Weiwei then hurried to a cafe to meet her roommates, Li Yuxin and Jun Jun, and Lin Baihui. She announced her and Lin Baihui’s plan to create a "Physical Massage Club," designed to enhance professional knowledge and aid sports recovery.

Li Yuxin, a workaholic, bluntly rejected the idea, citing a lack of time and interest, while Jun Jun also declined, eager to return to her online community. Discouraged, Mei Weiwei asked Lin Baihui if electrotherapy could "stimulate the potential of bodies" and make people run faster, referencing Mai Sichong's earlier claim. Lin Baihui confirmed that electrotherapy is a basic physical therapy for muscle relaxation and nerve regulation but admitted he had never heard of it stimulating potential.

Later, Mei Weiwei attended her massage class personally, as Li Daixi was no longer substituting for her. The professor immediately noticed she looked different from the previous class and, despite Mei Weiwei's attempt to lie about cutting her hair, marked her absent due to the clear height discrepancy. Feeling dejected, Mei Weiwei encountered Peng Pai.

He invited her to watch a movie as an apology for her abrupt departure from their previous outing, and Mei Weiwei agreed to "return the favor." During their chat, Peng Pai, who works for FT Sports, a sports brokerage company, asked if Mei Weiwei knew why Mai Sichong didn't join the provincial team, mentioning his company's interest in signing him. He speculated that it might be due to severe injuries or a desire to join a foreign club.

Mei Weiwei then remembered Mai Sichong's earlier vehement denial of knee injuries, which gave her pause. Soon after, Mai Sichong, having tracked Mei Weiwei down with Lin Baihui's help, arrived at the cafe. Seeing Mai Sichong, Peng Pai seized the opportunity to directly offer him a contract with FT Sports, suggesting that Mai Sichong’s good looks and height could make him a star, offering a safer alternative to a risky athletic career.

Mai Sichong, however, firmly rejected the offer, stating his singular goal was to become the number one swimmer and join the provincial team, dismissing the notion of career risks. Annoyed that Mei Weiwei hadn't replied to his messages, Mai Sichong then pulled her away. Mei Weiwei questioned his hasty refusal of Peng Pai's attractive offer, but Mai Sichong simply called her an "idiot" and dodged her inquiries about any hidden difficulties.

Mai Sichong then led Mei Weiwei to the electrotherapy room, explaining he had conducted extensive research and even "begged Doctor Wu many times" for access. He claimed that even a weak current relaxed his knees and proposed that daily electrotherapy from Mei Weiwei would speed up his recovery. Mei Weiwei, still persistent, asked again why he hadn't joined the provincial team. Mai Sichong became evasive, repeatedly telling her not to ask.

Mei Weiwei, noticing his increased heart rate, challenged him to look her in the eyes and declare his body was "totally fine." He struggled to maintain eye contact, confirming her suspicions. During their close interaction, another accidental physical contact caused an electric current to flow between their palms, prompting Mai Sichong to playfully call her an "idiot." Mei Weiwei questioned why Mai Sichong needed her help specifically when he could electrify himself.

He insisted that only her unique electricity led to progress in his swimming. Mei Weiwei expressed her deep concern about continuous electrotherapy, fearing a repeat of the "voice change" incident. Mai Sichong earnestly reassured her, promising to take full responsibility, keep their secret, and bear all consequences. He passionately explained that swimming was the most important thing in his life, referencing his high school record of 50.

35 seconds that could have led him to the Olympics, and urged her to trust him. Mei Weiwei reluctantly agreed. They went to a deserted basketball court, but despite Mei Weiwei's efforts to raise her heart rate, she couldn't generate a current. Growing impatient, Mai Sichong grabbed her hand and pressed it against his face. Instantly, a powerful current coursed through him, making his hair stand on end. Overjoyed, Mai Sichong enthusiastically pulled Mei Weiwei towards the swimming pool.

Later, Mai Sichong treated Mei Weiwei to a large meal, claiming it was to "supplement her electric energy" so she could continue to electrify him. Mei Weiwei, suspicious of his motives, initially refused to be fed but eventually ate the meal. He then subtly tried to arrange a movie outing, but the attempt was interrupted by a friend's suggestion and Mei Weiwei's teasing, leading him to pretend he was merely checking popular movie listings.

However, Mai Sichong soon found Mei Weiwei meeting Peng Pai for a movie date. Not wanting to be left out, Mai Sichong insisted on joining them. At the cinema, he playfully took Mei Weiwei's large popcorn for himself. When Peng Pai briefly left for the restroom, Mei Weiwei dozed off, and Mai Sichong gently rested her head on his shoulder. Peng Pai returned and observed this intimate moment, gaining a clearer understanding of Mai Sichong's feelings.

After the movie, Mai Sichong teased Mei Weiwei for falling asleep so quickly, but Peng Pai defended her, explaining she simply enjoyed the atmosphere of the cinema. Mai Sichong reminded Mei Weiwei of their early morning appointment the next day. As they walked back, Mai Sichong became increasingly irritated by Peng Pai's friendly and familiar demeanor towards Mei Weiwei, finally bidding a cold farewell and walking away. Mei Weiwei also felt uncomfortable with Peng Pai's overt intimacy and left, leaving Peng Pai standing alone, deep in thought.

Episode 6 Recap

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei met early in the morning at the basketball court for their agreed electrotherapy session. Mei Weiwei arrived with dark circles under her eyes, complaining about the early hour, while Mai Sichong playfully teased her about being sleepy and suggested they play basketball to wake up. Mei Weiwei just wanted to get the therapy over with, but Mai Sichong challenged her, saying if she could grab the ball from him, he would let her leave.

During their playful struggle, they accidentally embraced, and Mei Weiwei's sudden heart-pounding sensation caused static electricity to surge from her palm through Mai Sichong's chest, prompting her to quickly leave. Unbeknownst to them, Peng Pai had just entered the basketball court and witnessed their unexpected embrace, remarking to himself how strong Mei Weiwei's static electricity was.

Later, Mai Sichong received a call from a teammate, notifying him of a meeting with Fan Zengxiang, a senior from the Students' Association Union, in the lounge that afternoon. At the meeting, Fan Zengxiang, known for his arrogant demeanor, acknowledged the teammate's influence but demanded an apology from Mai Sichong before he would sign any papers for a new association.

When Mai Sichong's teammate tried to apologize on his behalf, Fan Zengxiang insisted on Mai Sichong apologizing personally, claiming to always separate private affairs from work. Mai Sichong's teammate then urged Fan Zengxiang to state his demands directly. Fan Zengxiang revealed that the Students' Association Union had a 20,000 yuan sponsorship deficit and, having heard that Mai Sichong lived in a villa at the foot of the mountain, suggested Mai Sichong handle the sponsorship.

Mai Sichong promptly agreed, on the condition that their prior conflict would be forgotten. Mei Weiwei met with Peng Pai, who revealed he had known about her secret static electricity since high school, having once seen her secretly charging a video game console. Mei Weiwei confirmed that Mai Sichong also knew but insisted he wouldn't tell anyone. Peng Pai, however, questioned if Mai Sichong was truly worthy of her trust just because he harbored feelings for her.

Mei Weiwei clarified that her electricity could create the illusion of love at first sight, and Mai Sichong would eventually "figure it all out" once he was no longer under its influence. Peng Pai then asked if high school misunderstandings about her were due to this, to which Mei Weiwei simply replied that it was all in the past. She then politely ended their conversation, citing prior commitments.

Mai Sichong soon approached Mei Weiwei, expressing his surprise that she had confided in Peng Pai. Mei Weiwei explained that Peng Pai had already known about her secret since high school, though they hadn't seen each other since. Mai Sichong playfully asked if everyone now knew she was "a Pikachu," to which Mei Weiwei retorted that he was the one "spreading the word" about her condition.

Mai Sichong then promised to protect her and retaliate against anyone who tried to bully her. He then possessively put his arm around Mei Weiwei's shoulder, and as they bantered, they both felt an unusual sensation. That night, Mei Weiwei was troubled by Peng Pai's frequent invitations and sought advice from her roommates on how to decline gracefully.

Her roommate advised her that if she didn't like him, she should tell him clearly, as dragging it on would only make it harder to express herself later. Meanwhile, Mai Sichong's mother entered his room without knocking. He asked her to teach him how to read an account book, explaining he suspected Fan Zengxiang of inflating figures within the Students' Association Union, having obtained a copy of the ledger from his roommate.

His mother teased him about his newfound interest in such matters, wondering if it was "related to Mei Weiwei." Despite Mai Sichong's denial, claiming it was for "justice," his mother remained unconvinced. The following morning at the swimming pool, Mai Sichong's coach reprimanded him for his poor performance and dark circles, inquiring about his activities the previous night. A teammate revealed that Mai Sichong hadn't returned to the dormitory, leading the coach to punish both of them with twenty laps.

The teammate then asked Mai Sichong why he was investigating Fan Zengxiang, hinting that Mai Sichong was doing it "for a woman." Mai Sichong confirmed his suspicion that Fan Zengxiang had indeed embezzled the Union's funds. Mei Weiwei and the class monitor approached Ms. Meiling, a teacher, to stamp their club application. Ms. Meiling refused, stating they needed the Students' Association Union chairman's signature first and advised them to communicate further with the Union.

Left with no other option, Mei Weiwei resolved to approach the chairman again. She found Fan Zengxiang directing others to put up a poster, rudely dismissing Mei Weiwei and the class monitor as incapable of handling even small tasks. Mei Weiwei attempted to apologize for a past incident, but Fan Zengxiang brushed her off, likening her to an annoying fly. Mei Weiwei then requested approval for the application form.

Observing Fan Zengxiang's repeated humiliation of Mei Weiwei, Li Daixi intervened, deliberately spilling a drink on Fan Zengxiang in the cafeteria. She offered a sarcastic apology, pretending to check if she herself had been scalded, then quickly departed, muttering about Fan Zengxiang bullying Mei Weiwei. Ding Yi, who witnessed the entire incident, confronted Li Daixi, commenting on Fan Zengxiang's gaze at her and asking if she acted for Mei Weiwei's sake, just like Mai Sichong.

Li Daixi expressed surprise that Mei Weiwei was starting an association, despite being her roommate. Ding Yi then offered to buy her dinner, but Li Daixi declined, citing her diet. Back in her dormitory, Mei Weiwei received a message from Ding Yi, who relayed how Li Daixi had stood up for her, even "following the senior like a pervert" to spill water on him. Ding Yi encouraged Mei Weiwei to reconcile with Li Daixi, saying Li Daixi looked sad.

Feeling a warmth in her heart, Mei Weiwei went to a coffee shop where her roommate Li Yuxin worked and ordered a strawberry cake for Li Daixi, choosing not to leave her name. Soon after, Mai Sichong called Mei Weiwei, asking her to meet him at Avatar Square. Before leaving, Mai Sichong had been with his mother, inquiring about the cost of a mural by the Students' Association Union chairman, suspecting inflated expenses.

His mother assured him that acrylic paint was inexpensive. Upon seeing Mei Weiwei, Mai Sichong declared he was doing "something big" for her but she didn't need to thank him. He presented her with a milk tea, which she eagerly accepted, asking how he managed to find it since it wasn't available near campus. Mei Weiwei then playfully teased Mai Sichong about athletes avoiding sugary drinks to maintain their performance.

Mai Sichong, in a defiant gesture, took a large gulp of the milk tea, proclaiming he would "break the record" even after drinking it. He struggled to open the lid properly. After some more banter, Mai Sichong playfully told Mei Weiwei to buy her own milk tea next time, playfully accusing her of "eating strange things like durian." Mei Weiwei then asked if they couldn't be friends.

Mai Sichong initially countered that their interests were too different to be friends, but after a moment of intense eye contact and physical closeness, he conceded and suggested they drink milk tea together again, then left. Mei Weiwei, having experienced another unexpected spark during their interaction, began to understand the reason behind her recent unusual feelings.

When Li Daixi arrived at the cafe to pick up the cake, the staff, Li Yuxin, informed her that no sender information had been left. Ding Yi, who was also present, commented on the cake's deliciousness, leading Li Daixi to mistakenly believe he had sent it. She thanked him, though she also called his gesture "old-fashioned" but accepted it because he "catered to her likes."

Ding Yi denied sending the cake, accusing her of talking "nonsense" and trying to "make him a scapegoat." Li Yuxin then intervened, asking if Li Daixi was "still mad at Mei Weiwei" for wanting to discard "the cake that she bought for you." Shocked, Li Daixi confirmed it was from Mei Weiwei. Overwhelmed with embarrassment, she quickly left the cafe.

Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei diligently cleaned the Students' Association Union floor, only for Fan Zengxiang to deliberately dirty it again, smugly asking her to reclean it. Peng Pai, witnessing this act of petty tyranny, stepped forward. As a former chairman, he admonished Fan Zengxiang, reminding him that his position was to serve the students, not to act like a tyrant.

Fan Zengxiang, attempting to retaliate, insulted Mei Weiwei, claiming she was notorious for having "so many men back her up," even the "former chairman." Peng Pai firmly stated that while he couldn't control Fan Zengxiang's personal affairs, he would absolutely intervene in Mei Weiwei's. Seeing that the situation was not in his favor, Fan Zengxiang quickly fled. Peng Pai then offered Mei Weiwei her favorite pineapple-flavored drink and invited her to the library, which she accepted.

Mai Sichong presented Ms. Meiling with the meticulously organized Students' Association Union account book, exposing Fan Zengxiang's fraudulent activities. Ms. Meiling was appalled by the "terrible book account," lamenting the chaos it brought to the university, a place meant for learning. She thanked Mai Sichong for reporting the situation and promised serious disciplinary action. Overjoyed, Mai Sichong immediately called Mei Weiwei to share the good news, but Peng Pai answered, explaining that Mei Weiwei had fallen asleep.

Hearing Peng Pai's voice, Mai Sichong's joy instantly turned to anger, and he abruptly hung up. He then went to wait in the hallway for the pair. When Mei Weiwei and Peng Pai appeared, Mai Sichong watched as Peng Pai handed Mei Weiwei a gift—a pair of pink gloves—explaining he had specifically bought them for her, as he had lost a similar pair he'd bought in high school. The sight of their intimacy became a thorn in Mai Sichong's side.

With a cold expression, he strode into their conversation, interrupting them, and announced it was time for his electrotherapy session with Mei Weiwei, then brusquely pulled her away. At the swimming pool, Mai Sichong feigned nonchalance and asked Mei Weiwei where she had been with Peng Pai and why he had answered her phone, claiming she was asleep. Mei Weiwei simply stated they were at the library and she had unintentionally dozed off.

Despite her simple explanation, Mai Sichong's jealousy intensified. He tried to share the good news about resolving the Students' Association Union issue, but Mei Weiwei was captivated by Peng Pai's gift, the pink gloves. Annoyed, Mai Sichong snatched the gloves from her. Mei Weiwei, exasperated by his childish behavior, demanded them back, asserting, "Peng Pai wouldn't be so petty as you." Infuriated, Mai Sichong flung the gloves into the pool.

Mei Weiwei, equally provoked by his childish outburst, chastised him to "grow up" and stormed away. Mai Sichong immediately dove into the pool and searched for some time before finally retrieving the pink gloves. Later, back in his dorm, he stared at his reflection in the mirror, his mind racing with confusion. The mixed feelings of bitterness and anger were overwhelming, and he couldn't understand why he felt this way. Mei Weiwei's words about Peng Pai not being petty echoed in his mind. He was deeply troubled, struggling to process these new and intense emotions.

Episode 7 Recap

The episode begins with students gathered around a bulletin board, where an announcement reveals that Fan Zengxiang, the former chairman of the Students' Association Union, has been removed from his post and fined for embezzling public funds. Following this, with the teacher's signed approval, Mei Weiwei finally receives the opportunity to establish her club. Afterwards, Mei Weiwei is heard thanking Peng Pai for his assistance.

Meanwhile, Mai Sichong, still at the hospital, is annoyed that Mei Weiwei hasn't sent him a thank-you message. The doctor informs Mai Sichong's mother that while his recovery is progressing, it will be challenging to fully regain his pre-injury state. Mai Sichong, however, insists he has his own methods for recovery. Just then, Jun Jun, the doctor’s daughter and Mei Weiwei's mute roommate, who is also Mai Sichong’s childhood friend, enters.

Mai Sichong’s mother expresses delight that Mai Sichong and Jun Jun are now attending the same university. She reminisces about their childhood, noting how they used to be inseparable. Though Mai Sichong claims not to remember, his mother playfully teases him about his memory. As Jun Jun prepares to return to school, Mai Sichong’s mother suggests they go together. In the car, Jun Jun appears nervous.

Mai Sichong subtly tries to inquire about Mei Weiwei's class schedule through Jun Jun, feigning disinterest by saying he's "completely not familiar with her." Before they part ways, Mai Sichong gives Jun Jun a small gift, remarking that it's "pretty cool" and "looks like me." Mei Weiwei excitedly announces to the class president and Mai Sichong that her club has been approved.

Mai Sichong, despite feeling a surge of secret pleasure, hands Mei Weiwei her gloves, which he had retrieved from the pool. He then pointedly asks who helped her deal with Fan Zengxiang, already expecting the answer. Mei Weiwei credits Peng Pai, explaining that his exposure of Fan Zengxiang was crucial for their club's successful application. Mai Sichong is visibly shocked and furious that Peng Pai has taken credit for the work he did.

Ignoring Mei Weiwei’s attempts to discuss club activities, Mai Sichong walks away in a huff, leaving the class president wondering what is wrong with him, to which Mei Weiwei simply replies, "He is crazy." Mei Weiwei and the class president begin distributing flyers for their new "Physical Massage Club." Peng Pai arrives, offering advice on where to find more students (the gym) and brings milk tea. Mei Weiwei thanks Peng Pai for his help with the club's application.

Peng Pai soon departs for work. Mai Sichong then appears, confrontational, asking why Mei Weiwei hadn't replied to his messages, to which she claims she was busy in class and "telepathically replied." He criticizes her technique, calling her "stupid." Mei Weiwei challenges him, and Mai Sichong snatches the flyers, demonstrating a more effective method. Using his charisma, he quickly recruits nearly a hundred new members for the club. Mei Weiwei thanks him, acknowledging his significant help.

Mai Sichong, however, downplays his efforts, saying he just didn't want the "idiot" (referring to Mei Weiwei) to delay his training. When they later discuss ideas for club activities, Mei Weiwei again praises Peng Pai for exposing Fan Zengxiang, reiterating his role in their club's smooth application. This further enrages Mai Sichong, who once again storms off, rejecting the class president's offer of massage tickets.

Meanwhile, Li Daixi visits a cafe hoping for a strawberry cake, only to discover Ding Yi has bought the last piece. They immediately fall into their usual bickering, with Ding Yi teasing Li Daixi about being in a bad mood and asking if she’s still fighting with her brother's girlfriend. Li Daixi vehemently denies any relation, then tells Ding Yi to "give up on Chong" because she’s "homely." Ding Yi retaliates by calling Li Daixi a "frog" and a "squirrel."

Li Daixi then asserts that she's no longer interested in Mai Sichong and warns Ding Yi not to spread gossip, as Mei Weiwei dislikes it. Their playful banter continues, with Ding Yi mockingly "rewarding" a used fork to Li Daixi. Mei Weiwei gets busy setting up the club's first event. Mai Sichong actively comes to help, leading to unintentional "physical contact" where it is hard for them to distinguish if it's due to electricity or a real reaction.

Mai Sichong criticizes the sugary drinks prepared, suggesting adding goji berries. He also teases Mei Weiwei for being short after helping her with decorations. Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei attempt to set up a demonstration for electrical conduction. Mai Sichong, still irritated after seeing Mei Weiwei exchanging text messages with Peng Pai, accuses Mei Weiwei of lacking her own opinion and following others, specifically mentioning Peng Pai and the milk tea. Mei Weiwei finds his "yin and yang" attitude frustrating.

Mai Sichong's anger escalates, and he declares he's not in the mood. Just as he is about to reveal something about the club, he notices Mei Weiwei is in agony. She explains it's "the days that all girls have." Concerned, Mai Sichong quickly carries her on his back to her dormitory. As he puts her down, Mei Weiwei, still in pain, leans into his embrace.

Mai Sichong feels a subtle stirring within him and gently places a hand on her shoulder. At that moment, Li Daixi, who has moved back into the dorm, appears and takes Mei Weiwei inside. Later, lying in his bed, Mai Sichong reflects on the day, wondering if he was "electrified by her again," as if experiencing the feeling of love at first spark once more. The club's first "Disco dancing in a healthy way" event is a success.

The class president hosts a health lecture, inviting Ding Yi as a volunteer for a massage demonstration of the Shenshu Point. Li Daixi playfully teases Ding Yi about his kidney. Peng Pai arrives with snacks but has to leave for company overtime work. Mei Weiwei thanks him again for his help with the club, which he humbly accepts.

After Peng Pai leaves, a jealous Mai Sichong pulls Mei Weiwei aside and aggressively demands to know if there's "anything between you and Peng Pai." Mei Weiwei tries to deflect the question, but their tense argument is interrupted by two male students who joke about not seeing anything. Mortified, Mei Weiwei calls Mai Sichong "crazy" and runs away. Mai Sichong mutters to himself, concluding that Mei Weiwei must like Peng Pai due to her flustered reaction.

In another corner of the party, Li Daixi continues to bicker with Ding Yi, while Xia Rui introduces himself to Li Daixi. While the party is still ongoing, Zhang Yuxin receives a phone call from her stepmother, Wang Meiyun, who scolds her for being idle and accuses her of "stealing things from home," even bringing up her deceased mother. Zhang Yuxin angrily tells Wang Meiyun not to mention her mother.

Zhang Yuxin's father arrives home, asking about food and the missing mahogany table. Wang Meiyun complains that Zhang Yuxin irresponsibly threw away the expensive mahogany table, accusing her of trying to "tear down this home." Zhang Yuxin's father asks her what she wants. Zhang Yuxin tearfully explains that her stepmother first discarded her mother's table, then challenges her father to throw her away too if he intends to protect Wang Meiyun.

As the party winds down and students leave, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong are left to clean up. Mei Weiwei accidentally slips, and Mai Sichong, in an attempt to catch her, injures his knee. Unbeknownst to them, a security guard unknowingly locks the room, trapping them inside. They realize they are both without their phones; Mei Weiwei gave hers to Li Daixi, and Mai Sichong's is with Ding Yi. With no way to contact anyone, they decide to wait.

Meanwhile, Li Daixi and Ding Yi are seen eating, with Ding Yi having Mai Sichong’s phone, and Li Daixi expresses concern about the trapped pair. Trapped in the quiet, dimly lit room, a subtle, intimate atmosphere settles between Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong. Mei Weiwei notices his injured knee and correctly deduces that he wanted her to use her electrical ability to help it heal.

Mai Sichong, surprised by her insight, then confides in her the secret of his old knee injury: it happened when he had an accident while saving a child. He recalls passing out and later being told someone saved him, leading to his sprained knee.

Mei Weiwei, in turn, shares her own long-held secret: she always considered her electrical physique a troublesome burden that never brought her good luck, until one day she used her electricity to save a person, which made her realize it was "cool." She apologizes for her past reactions when he would "babble" about her electricity, explaining she was merely nervous. Their shared vulnerabilities and secrets deepen their connection. Mai Sichong thanks her.

Episode 8 Recap

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei spent a peaceful, warm night trapped together. As morning broke, Mai Sichong finally stirred awake. His phone, which was in his pocket, suddenly rang, revealing to Mei Weiwei that he had intentionally hidden it and orchestrated their predicament. Realizing his mischievous ploy, Mei Weiwei was filled with both embarrassment and anger. She thought, "Mai Sichong, you just wait and see." Meanwhile, at the sports brokerage, Peng Pai was busy with his work.

His boss, Mr. Zhang, still had Mai Sichong on his mind, seeing him as a potential goldmine. Mr. Zhang instructed Peng Pai to subtly gauge Mai Sichong's interest in joining their company, inviting him to visit and play. Peng Pai readily agreed, mentioning he also needed to return to school. Upon Mai Sichong's return to the swimming pool, Ding Yi couldn't resist teasing him about his "blossoming romance," asking what he had been up to last night.

Mai Sichong dismissed it, but Ding Yi smirked, claiming to understand Mai Sichong's shyness. The coach then appeared and announced an upcoming friendly match among the swim team members. He explained that it was a warm-up for the provincial team trials and encouraged everyone to perform their best. Ding Yi jokingly asked if he could opt out for the sake of friendship, to which the coach retorted he could participate to ensure someone came in last.

The coach made it clear that all team members must participate. Shortly after, Mai Sichong received a text message from his mother, reminding him to see a doctor for a consultation with an American expert the following day. Later, Peng Pai, who had come to the swimming pool for company business, called Mai Sichong aside. At a plaza nearby, Mei Weiwei joined their conversation.

Peng Pai mentioned a meeting with the renowned athlete Xun Yang, an event Mei Weiwei, as a devoted fan, was thrilled to hear about. Peng Pai then extended an invitation for Mei Weiwei to attend the event at his company, promising to meet her at the entrance at 2 PM the next day. Mai Sichong, visibly displeased by Peng Pai's invitation, found himself with nothing to say.

In class, the class monitor, Lin Baihui, announced that students needed to find partners for the upcoming massage exam. Simultaneously, other students were abuzz with discussions about a recent "peeping tom" who had been secretly taking photos in the school's toilets. Mei Weiwei, however, was focused on finding a partner. Her friend, Li Daixi, apologized, explaining she couldn't help because she had a live broadcast that day.

With no other options, Mei Weiwei reluctantly turned to Mai Sichong for help, and he readily agreed. Later, in a coffee shop, Lin Baihui, the class monitor, found Li Yuxin alone at the counter. He enthusiastically invited her to join the new massage club, describing it as the first club of their Class of Rehabilitation and saying it wouldn't have a "soul" without her.

He even confessed his admiration for her "cold outside, but warm heart inside" personality, which he believed would stabilize the club. Li Yuxin, initially cool, quickly rejected his offer, warning him not to use the club to pursue her. However, Lin Baihui then found Li Yuxin's massage course review materials, which she had forgotten in class. He offered her a complimentary drink as the store was closing. As he left, he urged her to reconsider joining the club.

Li Yuxin watched him go, a faint smile playing on her lips, hinting at a softening of her demeanor. Back in the dormitory, Li Daixi attempted to compensate Mei Weiwei with a meal for declining her earlier invitation. However, upon learning that Mei Weiwei was heading to Peng Pai’s company, Li Daixi grew indignant. She couldn't believe Mei Weiwei had seemingly forgotten the past, recalling how Peng Pai, as a friend, had failed to help her when she was bullied.

Mei Weiwei, however, saw the outing solely as an opportunity to meet her idol, Xun Yang. Their disagreement escalated, and Li Daixi eventually left in frustration. On the sports field, Mei Weiwei was engrossed in her phone, admiring pictures of Xun Yang. A visibly jealous Mai Sichong then playfully pulled Mei Weiwei close, capturing a selfie of the two of them. His roommate, Xia Rui, witnessed the interaction.

When Mei Weiwei arrived at the sports brokerage building, a large crowd of excited fans had already gathered, cheering for Xun Yang's high popularity. Peng Pai appeared and escorted Mei Weiwei inside the company. Among the crowd, two overly zealous fans, feeling resentful and jealous that Mei Weiwei could walk directly into the company, exchanged glances and discreetly sneaked inside as well. At a restaurant, Ding Yi, Li Daixi, and Mai Sichong were deep in conversation.

Li Daixi vehemently criticized Mai Sichong for allowing Mei Weiwei to associate with Peng Pai. In a fit of anger, she revealed Peng Pai's past inaction, recounting how Mei Weiwei was severely criticized in high school and had to transfer, and how Peng Pai, then known as Peng Yan, disappeared without a word when she was in trouble. Mai Sichong absorbed these words, a mix of anger, jealousy, and resentment churning within him.

Fuelled by this newfound information, he decisively left to find Mei Weiwei. Under Peng Pai's guidance, Mei Weiwei finally had the chance to speak with her idol, Xun Yang, and even posed for a photo with him. Meanwhile, the two stalker fans who had sneaked into the company were peering through a window, observing the scene. Seeing Mei Weiwei standing beside Xun Yang for a photo, they became consumed by jealousy and, after exchanging meaningful glances, concocted a plan.

After the photo, Mei Weiwei presented Xun Yang with a poster, asking him to sign it not for her, but for a friend named Mai Sichong, who was also a swimmer and greatly admired him. Peng Pai, standing silently nearby, heard this and, despite a mix of emotions, managed to conceal them.

After Peng Pai escorted Xun Yang out of the company, Mei Weiwei, left alone in the meeting room, barely had time to savor her joy before the two stalker fans burst in. They immediately began to loudly accuse Mei Weiwei. When one of them raised a hand to strike her, Mei Weiwei instinctively reached out to grab the attacker's wrist in self-defense, causing an uncontrolled electrical current to surge forth.

The two fans, feigning injury from the shock, immediately began to create a scene, yelling loudly within the company. Amidst the chaos, Mai Sichong, having broken through the company's security, rushed into the meeting room just as a slap was about to land on Mei Weiwei. He arrived in time to shield her from the blow. Mei Weiwei then asked Mai Sichong why he hadn't answered her calls, to which he replied his phone might have been on silent.

Peng Pai, returning to the company, quickly realized the severity of the situation. When he caught up to Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong, Mai Sichong, furious at Peng Pai's ineffective apologies, began to lash out. Facing Peng Pai's various excuses, Mai Sichong vehemently brought up Peng Pai's past inaction and failure to help Mei Weiwei as a friend. As Mai Sichong revisited the painful past, Peng Pai's expression darkened.

He finally unburdened himself, revealing that at the time Mei Weiwei was being unfairly criticized due to misunderstandings caused by her electrical abilities, he was about to rush to her aid. However, he simultaneously received news that his father was critically ill. With no other choice, Peng Pai had to leave Mei Weiwei, who was suffering, to see his father for the last time.

After his father passed away, Peng Pai had to live with his mother and, consequently, grew distant from Mei Weiwei due to this misunderstanding. Seeing Peng Pai's anguish as he recounted his painful past, Mai Sichong left abruptly without a word. When Mei Weiwei later managed to reactivate her long-lost QQ account, she found a flood of persistent messages from Peng Pai. She realized that their estrangement had been based on a profound misunderstanding.

In that moment, the emotions conveyed by Peng Pai's actions over the years became incredibly clear. The sudden truth, however, left Mei Weiwei struggling to process such a complex relationship in a short time, and her own feelings began to blur into confusion.

Episode 9 Recap

The long-awaited massage exam arrived. Mei Weiwei was waiting for her partner, Mai Sichong, who was almost late for their Body Massage Examination but eventually arrived. The professor announced the exam, starting with the head and face easing technique. Mai Sichong, as Mei Weiwei's partner, lay on the table. As Mei Weiwei's light touch massaged his muscles, Mai Sichong watched her focused expression, completely captivated, feeling his heart race and soaring to its peak.

He endured the sensation of her touch, passing the initial sections including the head and face easing technique, Waist and abdomen, Back, and Hands. Meanwhile, Li Yuxin returned to the dormitory with many belongings, explaining to Baihui that she had moved out of her home. Baihui, the class monitor, eagerly volunteered to help her, despite Li Yuxin's doubts about his strength, to which he playfully boasted, "I'm the kind of person who looks skinny but strong enough."

Li Yuxin was touched by his optimistic and cheerful personality, and chuckled, creating a harmonious atmosphere between them. He expressed concern for her well-being, noting that moving out would save her travel costs and allow her to work fewer part-time jobs. Their conversation then shifted to the massage club. Baihui proudly shared that their "healthy disco" had become popular across campus.

He invited Li Yuxin to accompany him to the department later to witness the club's official regularization, an invitation she happily accepted. After successfully passing the exam, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong left the classroom. Mai Sichong, still dazed by his strong feelings for Mei Weiwei, offered to buy her snacks as a thank you for helping him.

Mei Weiwei found him behaving strangely, asking if he was sick when he tried to ward off "mosquitoes" and later block the wind for her. Just then, Peng Pai appeared, offering Mei Weiwei her favorite snacks. Mai Sichong, feeling a surge of jealousy, abruptly left.

Back in his dorm, Mai Sichong, ignoring a call from his mother about a missed doctor's appointment for his knee injury (which he missed because of "something about Weiwei yesterday"), tried repeatedly to call Mei Weiwei. When she didn't answer, he grew frustrated, suspecting she was too busy talking to Peng Pai, and angrily tossed his phone aside. Unbeknownst to Mai Sichong, Mei Weiwei was dealing with another issue.

She had been called away after Baihui and Li Yuxin learned from Ms. Meiling that she planned to change her major. Baihui confronted her in a cafe, expressing his disappointment, as he believed she was a great fit for their major and enjoyed working with them on the club. Li Daixi, also present, encouraged Mei Weiwei to explain her reasons, sensing she had a difficult truth to share.

As Baihui pleaded for her to stay, Mei Weiwei's phone was bombarded with calls from Mai Sichong. Overwhelmed and in a hurry, she promised Baihui they would discuss it another time and rushed off to meet Mai Sichong. When she confronted him about the incessant calls, Mai Sichong, still misinterpreting the situation, asked if she had been with Baihui, laughing off her explanation about Baihui being upset about her major change.

Mai Sichong then unexpectedly declared he wasn't going for a run that day, using the excuse of needing to "find electricity" to take Mei Weiwei out instead. He admitted he had no experience dating girls and didn't know what to do, to which Mei Weiwei quickly reminded him that they weren't in a "dateable relationship." Mai Sichong insisted on taking her shopping, trying to find clothes that suited her "small figure." He even suggested "BF style" clothing.

During their outing, Mai Sichong felt a shock and accused Mei Weiwei of using her powers. She, however, insisted she hadn't generated electricity all day and that it was merely static. This revelation made Mai Sichong question if the intense feelings he had experienced during the exam were due to her powers or genuine attraction.

As they ate, Mei Weiwei noted his strange behavior, alternating between staring and avoiding eye contact, and Mai Sichong pondered the true nature of his feelings, confirming that his heart racing was not a result of her special abilities. That night, Peng Pai was working late at his company. While chatting with a colleague, he acknowledged he wasn't dating Mei Weiwei yet but admitted to his feelings for her.

His friend advised him to act quickly, reminding him that past efforts might not hold the same weight if she had moved on. Peng Pai took the advice to heart, resolving to accelerate his pursuit of Mei Weiwei. The next morning, Mei Weiwei received a thoughtful breakfast from Peng Pai, delivered by a roommate, prompting a teasing remark from Li Daixi about Peng Pai's charm.

Soon after, Peng Pai called to invite Mei Weiwei to dinner that weekend, an invitation she accepted. Li Daixi, who had previously been wary of Peng Pai, now encouraged Mei Weiwei, reminding her that after clearing up the past misunderstanding regarding his father's illness, Peng Pai was indeed a devoted and caring man. She urged Mei Weiwei to seize the opportunity and avoid future regrets. Mei Weiwei, however, remained conflicted and troubled by the situation.

Later that evening, Mai Sichong was waiting outside the girls' dormitory when Li Daixi informed him that Mei Weiwei was out with Peng Pai. At a restaurant, Mei Weiwei and Peng Pai discussed the rumors of a pervert stalking girls on campus, and Peng Pai offered to pick her up. However, Mei Weiwei declined, citing his busy work schedule.

Suddenly, Mei Weiwei received a call from Junjun, asking for help, as she felt she was being followed near the school gate. Mei Weiwei immediately excused herself from Peng Pai and rushed off to find Junjun. Meanwhile, Junjun, fearing her stalker, started running, only to be caught by a figure from behind. It turned out to be Xia Rui, Mai Sichong's roommate, who was trying to escort her safely back to the dorm due to the pervert rumors.

Junjun initially mistook him for the stalker, but Xia Rui reassured her, explaining they had met before at a Massage Club activity and he knew she was Mei Weiwei's roommate. Mei Weiwei, still searching frantically for Junjun and unable to reach her by phone, encountered the actual pervert. The moment the assailant reached for her, Mei Weiwei's accelerated heartbeat triggered an electric shock, sending the pervert reeling and forcing him to flee.

Junjun and Xia Rui arrived shortly after, finding Mei Weiwei with her hands tightly clasped behind her back, a detail Xia Rui did not miss. The three students went to the police station to report the incident. The police officer, puzzled by how the small-figured Mei Weiwei had managed to fend off a pervert, pressed her for details. Mei Weiwei, anxious about revealing her secret, struggled to explain.

Just as the questioning intensified, Mai Sichong burst into the station, having been frantically searching for Mei Weiwei after hearing she was in trouble. He quickly concocted a story, claiming he had given Mei Weiwei an electric baton for self-defense, thus extricating her from the difficult situation. Mei Weiwei was both relieved and touched to see Mai Sichong, who once again had arrived just in time to rescue her.

Episode 10 Recap

The school issued a warning about a dangerous individual on campus. Mei Weiwei was still anxious about the "electric shock pervert" incident from the previous night, fearing her unique ability might have been exposed. Mai Sichong offered her a lollipop, explaining that Ding Yi eats them when feeling down, hoping it would make her feel better. He reassured her that even if someone saw something, they would likely think they were mistaken.

Mai Sichong also stated his intention to protect her, insisting he would look for her after class. Mai Sichong then quipped that the pervert was the one who needed protection. Meanwhile, Jun Jun, sitting in her dorm, received a message from a friend inviting her to an event and asking her to bring her childhood friend Mai Sichong, noting they now attended the same college.

Feeling shy and introverted, Jun Jun penned an invitation to Mai Sichong for afternoon tea the following Saturday, including her dorm room number, and tucked it into her bag. At this time, Mei Weiwei approached Jun Jun, and the two decided to investigate clues about the pervert together. To their surprise, they found a security camera on the path where the incident happened. Mei Weiwei immediately grew nervous and was at a loss for what to do.

But when they went to the security office to check the footage, the guard turned them away, claiming the Zhixing Road camera was under maintenance and might not have recorded anything. The only lead seemed to be cut off, but Mei Weiwei observed the limping gait of the guard, noting his physical resemblance and actions were similar to the pervert. It dawned on them that the rumored dangerous individual had been right in front of them all along.

Mei Weiwei and Jun Jun's expressions became solemn, their nerves so taut that they were startled by Mai Sichong passing by. The three returned to school. Mai Sichong, slightly angered, admonished Mei Weiwei for investigating such a dangerous matter alone. He grabbed Mei Weiwei's phone, saved his number, and told her to call him if anything happened. This domineering yet intimate gesture left Mei Weiwei somewhat speechless.

Observing their close interaction, Jun Jun, who had been sitting quietly nearby, instantly lost her appetite and abandoned her earlier plan for the afternoon tea invitation. Later that evening, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong met at the swimming pool for Mei Weiwei's electrotherapy session.

Watching Mei Weiwei jump and struggle but still fail to generate a current, Mai Sichong grew impatient and unexpectedly lifted her, creating a moment of intense eye contact between them, which took on a deeper meaning as their faces drew closer. Whether from the current's effect or the racing of his heart, Mai Sichong swam a new personal best, 51. 09 seconds. Seeing himself gradually reaching his peak, Mai Sichong was filled with confidence for the upcoming intra-team swimming match.

Feeling triumphant, he confidently declared himself an international-level swimmer and stated Mei Weiwei would be the first physical therapist for a future Olympic champion, vowing never to lose. After leaving the swimming pool, their conversation turned back to the suspicious security guard. Unable to sit idly by, they thought of a proactive approach: using a honey trap. However, it was deemed too unsafe to use a girl as bait, so everyone's eyes turned to the innocent Ding Yi.

Once Ding Yi was fully dressed up, the group pushed him into a restroom, a place where the pervert frequently appeared. Seeing that it was a done deal, Ding Yi had no choice but to endure the humiliation and wait patiently in the restroom for the pervert to show up. Just then, the sound of the doorknob turning echoed from the restroom entrance. The other five, communicating with Ding Yi via Bluetooth headphones, waited on the stairs.

As time passed, their eyelids grew heavy, and the girls fell asleep. Mai Sichong felt Mei Weiwei's head rest on his shoulder. Gazing at her peaceful sleeping face, Mai Sichong couldn't help but lean closer and closer. Just as he was about to brush Mei Weiwei's lips again, Ding Yi's shouts suddenly rang out as he spotted and chased the pervert. A frantic chase ensued. In the chaos, everyone inevitably collided.

Just as Mei Weiwei was about to grab the pervert's sleeve, she was jostled backward, bumping into Mai Sichong behind her. The two fell onto a wooden bench, their lips unexpectedly meeting in a thrilling moment that left both of them stunned and their minds blank. Running behind them, Jun Jun witnessed this accidental kiss. Finally, they cornered and apprehended the pervert. The group called the police, who arrived and took the man away.

The police officer thanked the group for their bravery, reminding them that while being courageous was good, in dangerous situations, they should always contact law enforcement first. The officer also mentioned that the monitor footage from the scene had not captured anything substantial and would soon be automatically deleted. To celebrate their success, having eliminated a menace, the friends gathered for a picnic on the grass, filled with pride.

Jun Jun even pulled out a decorative silk banner she had brought from her bag. As she did, the invitation letter she had written for Mai Sichong also slipped out. Ding Yi picked it up, noting the dorm number "517 in Building B," and began teasing Jun Jun about her crush on one of the boys.

Overwhelmed and shy, Jun Jun, following her heart, first briefly pointed at Mai Sichong, but then, as if remembering something, quickly redirected her finger to Xia Rui. Amidst the playful uproar, Jun Jun could only secretly glance at Mai Sichong, hiding her true feelings. As the celebration continued, Li Daixi became thoroughly intoxicated and, under the influence, blurted out her true feelings, telling Ding Yi not to hide his love for her and jokingly critiquing his "physical strength."

It was a rare "pink" moment for the bickering pair. Seeing Li Daixi's incessant "rambling," Mei Weiwei and Jun Jun had to help the wobbly Li Daixi back to their dorm. After dropping off the girls, Mai Sichong advised Xia Rui to treat his childhood friend, Jun Jun, well. Xia Rui, checking his phone, smiled to himself upon seeing that Jun Jun had accepted his friend request, a clear sign of his unrequited love finally being reciprocated.

The next day, Mai Sichong and his teammates warmed up for their official swimming competition. Mai Sichong specifically asked Mei Weiwei if she would come to watch him compete. However, Peng Pai had also invited Mei Weiwei to his birthday party, which was happening on the same day. Peng Pai met Mei Weiwei, thanked her for her concern after the recent incident, and reminded her that his birthday was tomorrow.

He expected her to attend a special dinner he had planned, having already ordered her favorite strawberry cake. Mei Weiwei found herself in a difficult position, torn between the two invitations. On the day of the competition, Li Daixi and Jun Jun arrived at the swimming pool to cheer, but Mei Weiwei was conspicuously absent.

Li Daixi informed Ding Yi that Mei Weiwei had gone out early and was likely attending Peng Pai's birthday party, though she had sent her regards and wishes for Mai Sichong's success. Meanwhile, Peng Pai was meticulously decorating his birthday venue, carefully checking the props he had prepared for a planned confession to Mei Weiwei. As Mai Sichong prepared to compete, hearing that Mei Weiwei had chosen Peng Pai's party deflated his confidence.

He hesitated at the start, looking towards the entrance in hope, but no one appeared. He began the race late and quickly fell behind. Mei Weiwei, waiting at a bus stop with a gift, saw a live stream of Mai Sichong's struggling performance on a classmate's phone. Distressed, she made a sudden decision.

On her way, she encountered Qiaoqiao, a senior student who worked with Peng Pai, who urged her to attend Peng Pai's party and revealed Peng Pai's true intention to confess his feelings to Mei Weiwei. In the swimming pool, Mai Sichong, usually invincible, swam his worst race ever, finishing with a time of 54. 57 seconds. Disheartened and silent, he left the pool, with Ding Yi and the others hurrying after him.

At the birthday venue, a hopeful Peng Pai received a WeChat message from Mei Weiwei, apologizing that she could not make it due to an important matter, but a gift was on its way. His confession plan ruined, Peng Pai sat alone in the empty hall, filled with disappointment. When Mei Weiwei finally arrived at the swimming pool, it was deserted except for her two dejected roommates, Li Daixi and Jun Jun. Mai Sichong was nowhere to be seen.

Mei Weiwei's roommates informed her that Mai Sichong had not only lost but had achieved his worst time since joining the team. They implied that Mei Weiwei's absence from his recent training and competition had significantly affected him, and alluded to his secret injury, hidden from the teachers, which now jeopardized his entire sports career.

Episode 11 Recap

Ding Yi found Mai Sichong awake and in a bad mood, observing that he was upset about his poor performance in the swimming competition and his loss to Xia Rui, attributing it to Mei Weiwei's absence. Mai Sichong retorted that it was "none of her business." He was engrossed in his phone, thinking Mei Weiwei was enjoying Peng Pai's birthday party since she had neither come to his match nor replied to his messages.

Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei, deliberating on her phone, decided to apologize to Mai Sichong in person the next day rather than sending a message. The next day, Mai Sichong remained angry. When Mei Weiwei approached him with an apology gift of sports supplies, he coldly refused it. When she asked if he was unwell, he replied, "It's none of your business."

Mei Weiwei then threatened not to help him with electrotherapy next time, to which Mai Sichong retorted, "Then, don't help me anymore," and walked away. Dejected, Mei Weiwei looked up at the brightly lit swimming pool before quietly departing. Inside the pool, Mai Sichong swam furiously, recalling Mei Weiwei's smiles towards Peng Pai and Peng Pai's pursuit of her. These memories agitated him, causing him to cough intensely.

Later, outside his dormitory, he stared at Mei Weiwei's number on his phone, battling the urge to call, but ultimately, his lingering resentment won, and he walked away. Later, as Mei Weiwei and Baihui were putting up new club activity posters, they were introduced to Jiayi, the new president of the Students' Association Union. Jiayi remarked that Mei Weiwei's "boyfriend" was very good for exposing the former president, which had helped their club.

Mei Weiwei quickly clarified that he was not her boyfriend, but Jiayi insisted that Mai Sichong had done a lot for her. This information, contradicting previous mentions that implied Peng Pai was responsible for exposing the former president (Fan Zengxiang), finally made Mei Weiwei connect Mai Sichong's past "strange" actions and understand the truth behind his efforts. Realizing she needed to speak with Mai Sichong immediately, Mei Weiwei quickly excused herself and rushed off to find him.

Elsewhere, Jun Jun was walking with a friend who asked about the elusive "Kurosaki Ichigo" and why Jun Jun hadn't given Mai Sichong the invitation yet. Before Jun Jun could answer, Xia Rui approached and introduced himself. Jun Jun's friend mistook Xia Rui for "Kurosaki-kun" and complimented his appearance, then quickly left, giving Jun Jun and Xia Rui a chance to talk privately.

They went to a convenience store, where Jun Jun apologized for an incident where she inadvertently pointed at him, clarifying that she didn't like him romantically. Xia Rui, having already guessed this, smiled understandingly, sharing that he used to be just as introverted and struggled to communicate with others, feeling like he was seeing his past self in her. He expressed a desire to be "simple friends" with her, thereby clearing the air and strengthening their bond.

Back at the swimming pool, Mei Weiwei debated how to give her gift to Mai Sichong. Upon entering, she was shocked to find him collapsed by the side of the pool. After a moment of panic, she called his name and quickly performed artificial respiration, bringing him back to consciousness.

Seeing Mei Weiwei's anxious face, Mai Sichong had a sudden flashback: he remembered collapsing after saving a child from a speeding car in high school, and the girl who performed CPR on him then was none other than Mei Weiwei. This realization dawned on him just before he fainted again, telling Mei Weiwei that he was sick and everything was illusory. Mei Weiwei tried to wake him up and called for help.

Mai Sichong awoke again in the hospital, seeing a tired Mei Weiwei resting nearby. Mei Weiwei playfully teased him about being childish, even when sick. When Mei Weiwei stirred and prepared to leave, he urgently grabbed her hand and asked if she had saved a person in her final year of high school. Before he could explain further, Ding Yi and Xia Rui entered, bringing fruit and interrupting their conversation.

Shortly after, Mei Weiwei received a call from Peng Pai, who invited her to have a meal with him to discuss thesis data. Feeling obligated due to her previous absence from his birthday, Mei Weiwei agreed and left Mai Sichong, promising to bring him takeout later. Mai Sichong watched her leave, unable to express his frustration. Ding Yi then asked Xia Rui if Mei Weiwei and Peng Pai were involved, to which Mai Sichong angrily told him to shut up.

Mei Weiwei met Peng Pai at the canteen. Peng Pai first asked Mei Weiwei about telling someone about his birthday party plans. Mei Weiwei apologized for missing his party, and when he asked why she sent him a book about sports economy instead of attending, he implied he wanted her presence. Mei Weiwei expressed her happiness that they had resolved their misunderstanding and were now friends.

Peng Pai then directly asked if she had missed his birthday to watch Sichong's match, to which she hesitantly confirmed. He then asked if she liked Sichong, causing Mei Weiwei to become visibly flustered, muttering "We two. . ." before excusing herself to pick up takeout, leaving the unspoken answer hanging in the air. Peng Pai, sensing her true feelings, acknowledged the reality that her heart was not with him.

Meanwhile, Mai Sichong's coach Peipei and the school principal were discussing his recent unexpectedly poor performance. The principal noted that Mai Sichong's high school grades were exceptional, even comparable to a provincial team member, and questioned why he hadn't participated in last year's selection. With no electronic records to explain his absence, they concluded they would need to examine his original physical files. Mei Weiwei returned to Mai Sichong's hospital room, finding Xia Rui and Ding Yi packing.

The two friends, acting as Mai Sichong's wingmen, dramatically exaggerated his condition, claiming he was "seriously ill" and had inexplicably insisted on returning to his dormitory. They cleverly encouraged Mei Weiwei to visit him there and helped her sneak into the male dorm. Mai Sichong, feigning illness, watched Mei Weiwei hesitate at the doorway. Ding Yi and Xia Rui then claimed to have urgent training with Coach Peipei and "conveniently" left, giving Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei privacy.

Mai Sichong, still in a bad mood, grudgingly asked about her conversation with Peng Pai. Mei Weiwei clarified that she hadn't attended Peng Pai's birthday party at all; instead, she had intended to go to Mai Sichong's match but ended up missing both. Hearing this, Mai Sichong's sour mood vanished instantly, replaced by a wide grin.

When Mei Weiwei suggested their electrotherapy wasn't working and they should try something else, he confidently stated that his improved speed wasn't due to electrotherapy, but rather, he "can definitely win" as long as she came to every one of his matches, almost confessing his feelings before quickly excusing himself to buy water. Left alone in the room, Mei Weiwei accidentally knocked over Mai Sichong's backpack, and a crucial file slid out, catching her attention.

As Mai Sichong opened the dorm door to return, he found Mei Weiwei holding his important secret. In a moment of panic, he rushed forward and embraced her from behind, their hearts pounding in an unexpected backhug.

Meanwhile, Ding Yi and Xia Rui, waiting outside, discussed Mai Sichong's unusually good high school grades that declined in college, only to improve significantly whenever Mei Weiwei was present, leading them to ponder if it was "the power of love" and if Mai Sichong truly liked Mei Weiwei.

Episode 12 Recap

After Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei separated from their embrace, Mei Weiwei confronted Mai Sichong about his medical report. He admitted he had taken it to conceal his knee injury from the school and the provincial team, fearing they would drop him. Despite his illness, Mei Weiwei insisted they return the report immediately.

When Mai Sichong questioned how to get into the locked archive room without Ding Yi’s key, Mei Weiwei skillfully opened the faulty door, inadvertently revealing her prior visit. Mai Sichong, whose suspicion of her earlier presence was confirmed, expressed relief that it was she who discovered his secret. Mei Weiwei, puzzled by Mai Sichong’s lack of inquiry into why she had followed him, asked him about it.

Mai Sichong explained that since she had trusted him with her secret about having electricity, he, in turn, chose to trust her. He suggested they put the entire matter behind them. The next day, the class monitor announced the upcoming school sports day and the 4"100m mixed relay. Mei Weiwei declined to participate. Later, she approached Lin Baihui, asking him to provide extra lessons on knee rehabilitation, particularly focusing on the meniscus.

Lin Baihui agreed and began teaching her about key acupoints like Weizhong, Weiyang, Chengjiang, and Shaoshong, which are beneficial for knee recovery. Li Daixi noticed Mei Weiwei’s intense new focus on rehabilitation and teased Lin Baihui about his "brainwashing" influence. Mei Weiwei clarified that she found learning massage appealing, inspired by Lin Baihui's accomplishments, despite considering a different career path. Li Yuxin defended the promising future of the rehabilitation major.

Li Daixi then shared her ambition to pursue sports journalism, while Jun Jun mentioned she would likely follow her parents' arrangements. Mei Weiwei, meanwhile, dedicated herself to studying, reading late into the night. Later, at a convenience store, Mei Weiwei noticed Mai Sichong's dark circles and expressed concern. She then recounted her late-night studies on knee rehabilitation and jokingly claimed to be learning acupuncture.

She admitted her current skills were insufficient but suggested Lin Baihui, who comes from a "family of rehabilitators," could help. Mai Sichong, however, worried that Lin Baihui might discover his injury during a massage, prompting Mei Weiwei to agree with his concern. Their conversation was interrupted by an urgent phone call from Ding Yi to Mai Sichong, warning him that "things went wrong." Meanwhile, Xia Rui met Jun Jun and gave her a Heshiki toy.

Shortly after, Mai Sichong's worried mother arrived, asking Jun Jun for help to find Mai Sichong, as he had missed an appointment with Jun Jun's mother and was not answering his phone. Xia Rui informed them that Ding Yi mentioned Mai Sichong was in the office, and they all headed there. Mai Sichong instructed Mei Weiwei to wait outside before he entered the office alone.

Inside, Ms. Meiling confronted him about hiding his medical reports, explaining the school had given him a chance to explain by not checking surveillance. Mai Sichong confessed to his wrongdoing but pleaded that his injury not be publicly disclosed during his punishment. Ms. Meiling, disappointed, demanded a full account of the events, warning of serious disciplinary action. Outside, Mai Sichong's mother, along with Ding Yi, Mei Weiwei, Xia Rui, and Jun Jun, gathered.

His mother, anxious, quickly learned from Mai Sichong that disciplinary action was unavoidable. Ding Yi then questioned Mai Sichong about using his key to hide the report. Mai Sichong's mother intervened, insisting they go to the hospital for his long-scheduled check-up. She invited Mei Weiwei to accompany them, believing Mai Sichong would feel more secure with her present. Jun Jun silently watched Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei leave together, appearing dejected, a sight Xia Rui noticed.

Later, in the dorm, Xia Rui saw a gift from Jun Jun intended for Mai Sichong, inscribed with a girl's shy thoughts. This sight filled Xia Rui with frustration, which he silently endured. At the examination room, Mai Sichong reluctantly underwent treatment, much to his mother's insistence, who even took photos for his father. The doctor delivered a grim assessment, stating Mai Sichong's condition was "not positive," and returning to his pre-injury performance level would be challenging.

Mai Sichong, already aware of the severity, dismissed the doctor’s attempts at comfort. Outside, Mei Weiwei spoke with Mai Sichong’s mother, who complained about his past rebellious acts, including skipping a specialist appointment to attend a Xunyang fan event. Mei Weiwei realized that many of Mai Sichong's seemingly rebellious actions were, in fact, attempts to protect her.

Mai Sichong's mother expressed deep concern for her son, who had spent his life in the swimming pool, fearing he might not be able to continue as an athlete. Drawing on her rehabilitation studies and Lin Baihui’s insights, Mei Weiwei reassured her that knee injuries could heal with proper rehabilitation. Mai Sichong's mother then entrusted Mei Weiwei with the responsibility of ensuring Mai Sichong stayed on track for the upcoming provincial team recruitment.

After Mai Sichong's mother departed with final instructions to avoid overtraining and drink his nutrient solutions, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong returned to school. Mei Weiwei questioned his absence from the hospital, asking if he had skipped it to help her at Peng Pai's company. He confirmed it, downplaying the incident as already resolved. She then asked why her electric ability no longer affected him, but he chose to keep it a secret.

When Mei Weiwei inquired about his future plans, Mai Sichong firmly declared his unwavering commitment to swimming. The next day, Mai Sichong’s disciplinary notice was posted, prompting widespread student gossip about his theft of the medical report and his knee injury, and speculating that the provincial team might drop him. Mei Weiwei was visibly upset by the discussions. Peng Pai found her and asked about Mai Sichong's leg.

He explained that his company’s decision to sign Mai Sichong would likely depend on whether he participated in the provincial team selection, as failure could significantly reduce his market value. Peng Pai advised Mei Weiwei to urge Mai Sichong to carefully consider his options within the remaining month.

Realizing her own massage skills were years away from being effective, Mei Weiwei sought out Lin Baihui, who confirmed it would take at least three years to master massage, citing his own extensive training. Desperate to help Mai Sichong sooner, Mei Weiwei asked Lin Baihui to transfer to Mai Sichong’s dorm to provide rehabilitation massages. Lin Baihui eagerly agreed, seeing it as an excellent opportunity for his new massage project.

In return, he asked Mei Weiwei to join them for the upcoming track and field competition, a request she accepted. During swimming practice, Mai Sichong's knee injury flared up, causing him intense pain. His coach, Ms. Peipei, confronted him, revealing that provincial Coach Li had called, expressing the team's growing distrust. Ms. Peipei scolded Mai Sichong for his lack of trust and transparency, warning that his secretive behavior jeopardized his participation in the competition.

She criticized him for being a "coward" and "escaping" from his problems. Amidst his physical and emotional turmoil, Mai Sichong received a message from Peng Pai. Peng Pai reassured him that the sports agency would still sign him and offered an increased contract value if he forewent the provincial team selection and signed directly. Peng Pai urged Mai Sichong to thoughtfully consider his options, reminding him that it was "his own life." Holding a crumpled medical report that seemed to declare his failure, Mai Sichong walked away, burdened by the difficult choice ahead and the uncertain future of his swimming career.

Episode 13 Recap

Mei Weiwei found Peng Pai on campus and immediately suggested arranging a meeting between Xun Yang and Mai Sichong, hoping it would lift Mai Sichong's spirits. After some thought, Peng Pai reluctantly admitted that it would be difficult to arrange. Though Mei Weiwei claimed it was fine, her mind raced for other ways to help Mai Sichong, eventually concluding that she would need to get Lin Baihui, the class monitor, to move into Mai Sichong’s dorm for massage therapy.

Mei Weiwei recruited Ding Yi to help with the move, and the three of them carried boxes into the dorm building. This plan, however, came at the cost of Mei Weiwei agreeing to participate in a track and field competition. Ding Yi updated Mei Weiwei on Mai Sichong's condition, stating that Mai Sichong had taken leave and his phone was off because he was too ashamed to return to school.

Ding Yi added that while Mai Sichong's knees might not fully recover to their original state, good rehabilitation could still allow him to enter the province team. Mei Weiwei then sought Lin Baihui's confirmation, ensuring he would help Mai Sichong if she joined the track and field event. She also playfully teased Lin Baihui about alternative names like "Baibai" or "Huihui."

Meanwhile, Mom Mai was distressed, complaining to her husband on the phone that Mai Sichong had locked himself in his room for two days. When the doorbell rang, she eagerly pulled Mei Weiwei inside. Hearing a familiar voice, Mai Sichong, who had been sulking in his messy room, quickly tidied up and pretended to be engrossed in a complex book. Mom Mai seized the opportunity to leave them alone, encouraging Mei Weiwei to call her "Mom Mai" from now on.

Mei Weiwei entered Mai Sichong's room and, after he jokingly questioned her reading comprehension, informed him that she had arranged for Lin Baihui to move in to assist with his rehabilitation. Mai Sichong, however, rejected the offer, stating he was too ashamed to return to school. Mei Weiwei, unfazed, reminded him that he was no stranger to embarrassment and that people didn't have high expectations for him anyway.

When Mai Sichong refused to get out of bed, Mei Weiwei tried to pull him up, but he accidentally yanked her onto the bed. At that moment, Mom Mai re-entered with a fruit platter, witnessed the scene, and quickly made an excuse to leave. Soon after, Mom Mai called Mai Sichong out to take out the trash, then jokingly asked if they were playing sumo.

Mei Weiwei tried to leave again, but Mom Mai insisted she stay, pulling out a photo album to show embarrassing childhood pictures of Mai Sichong. She pointed out a photo of him as a child with a "little watermelon" belly and another of him wearing swimming goggles at his first gold medal ceremony because he had conjunctivitis. Annoyed, Mai Sichong sent his mother off to her yoga class. Once alone, Mei Weiwei asked Mai Sichong why he loved swimming.

He vaguely recalled his high school coach, Mr. Yang, recognizing his talent and believing he could win many gold medals. Mai Sichong then expressed uncertainty about his current condition, prompting Mei Weiwei to suggest they go visit Mr. Yang. They met Mr. Yang at a restaurant. Mr. Yang expressed his joy at seeing Mai Sichong again, though he playfully chided him for not visiting sooner.

He then asked if Mei Weiwei was Mai Sichong's girlfriend, to which Mai Sichong quickly responded that she was just a classmate. During their meal, Mai Sichong explained his knee injury and how it prevented him from attending the province team selection. Mr. Yang asked if he was giving up, then presented Mai Sichong with a childhood "declaration of ambition."

In the note, a young Mai Sichong, upset about losing to a "little fat boy" and throwing a tantrum, vowed never to cry or give up again, promising Mr. Yang his unwavering commitment. Mr. Yang then passionately told Mai Sichong that he was a uniquely talented and hardworking individual, the best he had seen in over a decade, and expressed his firm belief that Mai Sichong would stand on podiums both nationally and internationally.

Mai Sichong thanked his former coach, who, slightly tipsy, then advised Mai Sichong to treat his "girlfriend" well, claiming he could see Mai Sichong's feelings. After seeing Mr. Yang off, Mei Weiwei offered to buy Mai Sichong some yogurt. In the car ride back to school, Mei Weiwei reiterated Mr. Yang's high regard for Mai Sichong. Mai Sichong, still somewhat insecure, asked Mei Weiwei if she thought highly of him too, confident that he was the best swimmer she knew.

Mei Weiwei responded by reminding him that the Mai Sichong she knew was always full of passion and confidence when it came to swimming, and if he gave up now, she would admit she had misjudged him. As they neared the school, Mai Sichong hesitated to enter, still wearing his hat, prompting Mei Weiwei to tease him about being afraid of shame. Mai Sichong claimed he was actually trying to protect her from gossip.

He then suggested a less-trafficked route to her dorm, asserting it was safer. Mei Weiwei challenged him to remove his hat if he wasn't ashamed. When Mai Sichong spotted Ding Yi, he tried to avoid him. Mei Weiwei pressed him further about his perceived shame, to which Mai Sichong, after much stuttering, confessed that he simply wanted to spend a little more time with her.

Back in her dorm, Mei Weiwei informed her roommates of her success in convincing Mai Sichong to return to school. Jun Jun explained Mai Sichong’s strong self-esteem by recounting the same conjunctivitis story that Mom Mai had shared, highlighting his reluctance to be photographed with red eyes. Yuxin playfully commented on Lin Baihui's appearance, drawing teasing from her roommates about a potential crush, which she quickly denied.

Their phones buzzed with a message from Lin Baihui, stating that the 4x100m mixed relay race team needed one more girl. They initially assumed it would be the introverted Yuxin, but to their surprise, Yuxin had already signed up, while Jun Jun could not participate. The girls chuckled, now certain of Yuxin's feelings for their class monitor.

Meanwhile, in the boys' dorm, Ding Yi expressed his frustration to Mai Sichong, feeling Mai Sichong confided more in Mei Weiwei than in him, his best friend. Mai Sichong tried to smooth things over by offering games and food money, which Ding Yi accepted. Lin Baihui then entered, announcing it was time for Mai Sichong's rehabilitation. Later that night, a scream echoed from the dorm.

The following day, Mei Weiwei was running on the track, reminiscing about a conversation with her father from high school. Her father had playfully complained about her mother's cold feet and his growing belly from accompanying Mei Weiwei on her early morning runs. He had also questioned how she would find a boyfriend with her "special constitution" and why she loved running so much.

Mei Weiwei had responded that running made her happy, comparing her joy to the heroic acts of the Flash and Pikachu. Her father had lovingly affirmed that her happiness was his happiness. Exhausted from her run, Mei Weiwei was about to rest when Mai Sichong appeared. Noticing her fatigue, he scooped her up and carried her on his back, playfully charging her for the "friendly" ride and subsequent massage.

In an empty classroom, Yuxin was hunched over her desk, clutching her stomach in pain, seemingly on her period. Lin Baihui sat beside her, proudly showing off an egg cake he had gotten from the cafeteria, boasting that he'd had five eggs added. Yuxin's initial flicker of happiness at the thought of food quickly vanished as he started eating it himself.

He then pulled out a hot water bottle and asked her to open it for him while he searched for something. Annoyed by his insensitivity and the strong smell of his egg cake, Yuxin told him to keep his distance. Lin Baihui then asked Yuxin to call Mei Weiwei, wondering why she hadn't arrived yet. Moments later, Mei Weiwei received a text message that filled her with immense joy.

She excitedly pulled Mai Sichong to a secluded corner of the school. Mai Sichong, already in a foul mood, scowled even more upon seeing Peng Pai. Just as his anger was about to erupt, his eyes widened in disbelief as he spotted an unfamiliar figure standing with Peng Pai.

Episode 14 Recap

Mai Sichong was startled by a surprise: his idol, Xun Yang, had arrived. To allow them some private time, Peng Pai led Mei Weiwei away. Despite feeling a slight reluctance, Mai Sichong, overjoyed, brought Xun Yang to the swimming pool. There, on an impulse, they decided to have a friendly match. Mai Sichong, insisting on giving his best even with Xun Yang's known back injury, surprisingly won.

After the match, Xun Yang, who had learned about Mai Sichong's situation from Mei Weiwei, asked him about his future plans. Mai Sichong admitted his desire to try for a professional swimming career, despite the uncertainty of success. Xun Yang encouraged him, stating Mai Sichong already knew his answer and was just hesitant to voice it. He also revealed that Mei Weiwei had shared details about Mai Sichong's unwavering confidence, and even about his private medical report.

Mai Sichong, slightly embarrassed, denied Mei Weiwei was his girlfriend, then quickly clarified she wasn't "yet," emphasizing that she was his motivation. Meanwhile, Yuxin, who had dressed up expecting a date with Baihui, was disappointed when he revealed he merely wanted her to join him for a running training session for an upcoming sports meeting. Frustrated, she returned to her dorm and vented to Li Daixi, calling Baihui a "blockhead."

Li Daixi then discovered photos of Xun Yang at the school circulating on social media, having been secretly taken. News of Xun Yang's presence quickly spread, creating a stir across campus. Mei Weiwei and Peng Pai also received the alert and rushed back to the swimming pool. To facilitate Xun Yang's escape from the rapidly growing crowd, Mai Sichong and Xun Yang exchanged clothes.

Mai Sichong, impersonating Xun Yang, successfully drew away the throng of fans, while Xun Yang and Peng Pai managed to leave discreetly. Xun Yang's manager, informed of the unauthorized appearance via a phone call, expressed concern, but Xun Yang brushed it off, explaining he wouldn't turn his back on his fans. As Yuxin walked outside, she unexpectedly encountered her father, Zhang Weixin, the owner of a sports economic company.

Yuxin openly expressed her contempt for his relationship with Meiyun, especially given the recent passing of her mother. Zhang Weixin, enraged by Yuxin's persistent defiance and refusal to come home, raised his hand to hit her. At that moment, Baihui, who was passing by, intervened angrily, admonishing Zhang Weixin for resorting to violence against his own daughter. However, Zhang Weixin received an urgent phone call regarding Xun Yang's situation and the leaked photos.

He abruptly left, but not before casting a fierce gaze at Yuxin, warning her that their dispute was far from over. Feeling profoundly humiliated by the public altercation, the usually composed Yuxin tried to push Baihui away with sharp words, questioning if he wished to witness her further disgrace. Although Baihui remained silent save for telling her "Don't catch a cold," he gently placed his jacket over her shoulders to offer comfort before departing. Yuxin stood motionless, tears silently falling.

Later, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong sat down for a meal. Mai Sichong sincerely thanked Mei Weiwei, acknowledging her crucial role in his renewed determination, telling her "You are different" and "Thank you for coming into my world." He then recounted their unexpected meeting in high school, revealing that she was the one who had performed CPR and saved his life after his swimming accident.

Mei Weiwei's face flushed with shyness at Mai Sichong's heartfelt confession, and their interaction became noticeably more intimate. Suddenly, a realization struck Mei Weiwei about her feelings, and she quickly excused herself, blushing, to return to her dormitory. Concurrently, in his office, Zhang Weixin sternly reprimanded Peng Pai for his unauthorized actions in taking Xun Yang to the school and allowing him to compete.

Zhang Weixin called it a "principled mistake" and an act of "heroism" not suited for the company. Peng Pai calmly accepted full responsibility, stating he would bear all consequences, and expressed gratitude for Zhang Weixin's guidance. As he gathered his belongings, his gaze fell upon a gift he had intended as a love token for Mei Weiwei, prompting him to make a silent, firm decision.

Back in her dormitory, Mei Weiwei's heart continued to race from her encounter with Mai Sichong. Yuxin, observing her friend's flustered state, pointed to the heart rate indicator on Mei Weiwei's wrist, reminding her that physical reactions rarely lie. As Mei Weiwei recalled various moments with Mai Sichong that had caused her heart to pound, she found it increasingly difficult to deny her true feelings.

Mai Sichong, with a wide, satisfied smile, exited the building and unexpectedly came across Peng Pai. Peng Pai immediately issued a challenge to Mai Sichong, speaking of his long-standing affection for Mei Weiwei, which began in high school when she secretly gave him a gift on Chinese Valentine's Day while they were on the track team together. Mai Sichong, resolute, responded with a gaming analogy, suggesting that a player who consistently lets their opponent "go easy" will ultimately face "Defeat." Their exchange, though without physical contact, was a fierce and direct confrontation, each asserting his claim over Mei Weiwei's heart.

Episode 15 Recap

Mei Weiwei brought out the dishes her mother had prepared and called her father, who was repairing a watch, to dinner. Their family ran a bookstore, and she was home for a meal. Her father inquired about the upcoming track meet, expressing concern that Mei Weiwei’s special physical constitution might be exposed. Mei Weiwei, however, was unfazed and inadvertently mentioned that Mai Sichong, a boy from their school's swimming team, was training despite a severe old knee injury.

Hearing the name of an unfamiliar boy from their daughter, Mei Weiwei’s parents’ interest was piqued. Just then, Mei Weiwei spotted Mai Sichong outside the window. Having specifically asked Li Daixi for Mei Weiwei’s home address to invite her to eat, Mai Sichong appeared directly at their bookstore. Mei Weiwei’s parents observed their daughter’s conversation with the handsome stranger with knowing smiles. To quickly usher Mai Sichong away from her parents, Mei Weiwei promptly accepted his dinner invitation.

Meanwhile, Li Daixi worried that Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei still hadn’t shown any signs of a developing relationship, despite her providing Mei Weiwei’s address to test their connection. She, who was aware of Mei Weiwei’s special abilities, feared that any spark between them would be fleeting, a mere illusion of love. Ding Yi, overhearing this, mistakenly believed Li Daixi still harbored feelings for Mai Sichong. Li Daixi, however, adamantly declared she had long lost interest in him.

Though secretly pleased, Ding Yi couldn't resist asking about her current crush. The usually assertive Li Daixi became shy and flustered, leading to their usual playful banter and chasing. Later that night, Mei Weiwei sat awake on her bed, deep in thought. Dinner with Mai Sichong had been surprisingly different; he had abandoned his usual rough demeanor, constantly serving her food and meticulously picking out unwanted ingredients from her plate.

Mei Weiwei initially suspected he was under the influence of her electric power, caught in a false sense of love, as had happened many times before. Yet, Mai Sichong had directly denied it, claiming he was not affected by her electricity and that his actions were genuine, making her feel more energetic and wanting to treat her better because of her, not her powers. Now, Mai Sichong appeared completely normal, and these seemingly unusual behaviors were indeed his conscious actions.

This left Mei Weiwei bewildered. A call from Li Daixi intensified her dilemma, as Li Daixi firmly stated that Mai Sichong truly liked her. In every intimate encounter, Mei Weiwei had forced herself to believe it was merely her electric power at work. But now, she had no more excuses. Accustomed to the "illusion of love" brought on by her superpower, Mei Weiwei found herself completely at a loss when faced with someone’s genuine feelings.

Mei Weiwei’s mother entered her daughter's bedroom with a cup of hot milk. She gently asked about Mei Weiwei’s boyfriend, to which Mei Weiwei shyly deflected. Her mother, understanding her daughter’s heart, earnestly advised her that true love was simple: finding someone who could accept and tolerate her special constitution. Mei Weiwei, pondering her mother's words, looked thoughtful. The next day, the class leader, Baihui, announced their need for another person for the relay race.

Everyone began trying to persuade Jun Jun to join, but her introverted and timid nature made her unsuitable for competition. Mei Weiwei was troubled, but Mai Sichong, sitting opposite her, offered comfort. On his phone, a chat window with Jun Jun popped up, revealing her similar distress about being unable to help. Mai Sichong, however, encouraged her and even offered to pay for a year’s worth of her snacks if she joined.

Hearing this, Jun Jun secretly made up her mind. After class, Baihui officially announced Jun Jun’s addition to the team, to everyone's delight. When Mei Weiwei asked about it, she discovered Mai Sichong’s words had swayed Jun Jun. Li Daixi straightforwardly pointed out the mutual affection between Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei. Mei Weiwei, not to be outdone, teased Li Daixi about her subtle feelings for Ding Yi, making Li Daixi blush and shyly retreat.

Mai Sichong found Mei Weiwei waiting for him downstairs by the dorm building, a wave of joy washing over him. Mei Weiwei presented him with a gift she had prepared. Their affectionate banter was observed by Xia Rui, who was passing by. Mei Weiwei, startled, quickly fled back to her dorm, while Mai Sichong couldn’t help but chuckle to himself. The four-person relay team arrived at the track to begin training, jogging laps to warm up.

An exhausted Mei Weiwei decided to head to the cafeteria. Surprisingly, the usually introverted Jun Jun also expressed a desire to join her, determined to overcome her fear of crowds. Though still a bit shy, she bravely endured her significant anxiety. Later, on the quiet track, Jun Jun ran with effort. Xia Rui appeared nearby, already aware of Jun Jun’s unspoken crush on Mai Sichong.

Watching Jun Jun push herself, Xia Rui felt a pang of regret but maintained his quiet chivalry, staying by her side. Xia Rui led Jun Jun to breakfast, his encouragement giving her strength to persevere. Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei worried that a sudden change in the weather might trigger her unique physical reactions. The race began. Just as the whistle blew, the relay team members ran with all their might. But despite the clear sky, a rumbling thunder was heard.

Mai Sichong tried to persuade Mei Weiwei to leave, but her determined gaze stopped him. Baihui, running the third leg, stumbled and fell on the track. Seeing them about to fall behind, Mai Sichong decisively took the relay baton and ran in Baihui’s place. As Mei Weiwei took the last baton, she fell on the track due to exhaustion. A sudden downpour caused the gathered crowd to scatter.

Mei Weiwei stood alone on the other side of the track, feeling helpless and lost. Mai Sichong saw her solitary figure and, undeterred by the throng of people, rushed toward her. When he finally broke through the obstacles, Mei Weiwei stopped him, warning that her electric powers were out of control in the rain and could harm him with contact. However, Mai Sichong was no longer afraid.

He embraced Mei Weiwei tightly as their friends, who had not left, watched them embrace in the rain. Mai Sichong finally gave voice to his long-held feelings, softly expressing his deep love for Mei Weiwei amidst the downpour. Unexpectedly, Mei Weiwei, who always used to avoid or ignore her feelings, finally chose to confront her own heart and reciprocated Mai Sichong's love.

Episode 16 Recap

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei's relationship officially began, filling their days with newfound sweetness. Mai Sichong found it impossible to hide the affection in his eyes, even stealing a smile as he watched Mei Weiwei walk away. Before parting ways for the night, he playfully asked Mei Weiwei if she truly accepted him and if she would regret her decision. Mei Weiwei joked about his "electricity," to which Mai Sichong assured her that he loved her regardless.

He then urged her to return to her dorm for the upcoming competition, but she lingered, enjoying their moment. Later, back in the dormitory, Junjun got out of bed to talk with Yuxin. They excitedly discussed Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei's public confession, calling it a memorable event at their university. Yuxin, observing Junjun's quiet demeanor, cautiously asked if the person Junjun truly liked was not Xia Rui. Their conversation was interrupted by Mei Weiwei's joyful return.

Mei Weiwei, brimming with love, shared her excitement about Mai Sichong, mentioning that the snacks she brought were Mai Sichong's treat for everyone. Junjun, meanwhile, quietly drank water, attempting to conceal her true feelings. Elsewhere, Peng Pai was walking across campus with a colleague when they encountered Mei Weiwei. Still affected by witnessing the rainy confession, Peng Pai hesitated, unable to even offer a casual greeting, and quickly left with his colleague.

His colleague, noticing Peng Pai's subdued mood, mentioned that he knew Peng Pai had a special affection for Mei Weiwei and encouraged him to confess his feelings. Peng Pai denied it, though his expression betrayed him. Their conversation was abruptly cut short by a text message revealing that their boss, Mr. Zhang Weixin, was resigning. Receiving this news, they immediately headed to the company. The anticipated swimming competition finally commenced.

Mei Weiwei and her friends were there as family and supporters, enthusiastically cheering for Mai Sichong and his teammates. Amidst the bustling crowd, Mei Weiwei's gaze fixed on Mai Sichong, noticing his subtle signs of pain from an old knee injury. Despite Bai Hui's assurances that Mai Sichong had been diligently undergoing rehabilitation and was fine, Mei Weiwei couldn't shake her worry. Mai Sichong's parents also arrived to watch their son.

The entire group cheered, their eyes following Mai Sichong's powerful strokes through the water. Living up to everyone's expectations, Mai Sichong secured first place. After the competition, Peng Pai met Mr. Zhang Weixin at a restaurant. Peng Pai tried to convince Mr. Zhang to reconsider his resignation, but Mr. Zhang had made up his mind. He explained that FT, their company, "never keeps useless people" and encouraged Peng Pai to try again, acknowledging his capability and ambition.

For his part, Mr. Zhang revealed his desire for an easier job to dedicate more time to his daughter, Yuxin, admitting his regret for neglecting her during her formative years. He raised a toast to Peng Pai, wishing him a bright future, leaving Peng Pai with a mix of gratitude and bitterness. To celebrate Mai Sichong's victory in the competition, his mother suggested a celebration.

Ding Yi proposed that Mai Sichong treat everyone, and Mai Sichong generously offered a VVIP hot spring experience, complete with single private pools. Everyone excitedly agreed. As the group settled into the entertainment room, Mai Sichong took Mei Weiwei out to the garden for some privacy. Though they had shared physical contact before, their new romantic relationship made them feel shy.

They awkwardly tried to hold hands and lean in for a kiss, but their friends, who had been secretly watching, accidentally revealed their presence, interrupting the tender moment. Back inside, the group continued to tease Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei. During a game of King's Game, Xia Rui became the king. Noticing Junjun's quiet sadness, Xia Rui discreetly manipulated the cards to make Mai Sichong and Junjun hug. Mei Weiwei, observing, gave her approval.

However, Junjun felt uncomfortable and later, finding a moment alone with Xia Rui, expressed her disapproval. She told him that Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei were a couple, and she did not want to interfere with their relationship. Xia Rui, while trying to defend Junjun's long-standing feelings for Mai Sichong, was reminded by Junjun that "not all affections have good results," and she preferred her feelings to remain unspoken.

Junjun urged Xia Rui not to make things awkward for her again, and he reluctantly agreed. Later, while four of them were enjoying the hot spring, Li Daixi asked Mei Weiwei about her "first kiss" with Mai Sichong. Mei Weiwei explained it wasn't their first as she had given him artificial respiration when he fainted in the pool after an injury. Suddenly, Mei Weiwei received a text from Mai Sichong, asking her to meet him in the "little garden."

When she arrived, Mai Sichong sheepishly presented her with small fireworks, apologizing for not finding larger ones and explaining that Ding Yi had advised him that girls liked "bright and sparkling things." He lit the fireworks, their soft glow illuminating their faces, and then began to confess his feelings. He revealed that before meeting her, his world was a "monotonous blue" of swimming, but she had made it "colorful."

He admitted that while he was fearless in competition, he was nervous and unsure of himself with her because it was his first relationship. Mei Weiwei was deeply touched by his sincere and vulnerable words. As massive fireworks suddenly burst into the sky, Mei Weiwei, tears in her eyes, initiated a kiss, firmly confessing her love for Mai Sichong once more. Mai Sichong reciprocated, kissing her lips again. Amidst the grand fireworks, dressed in their bathrobes, they shared their true first romantic kiss.

Episode 17 Recap

After a hot spring trip, the group decided to part ways. Some friends planned to go to a Comic-Con, others to a cafe, while Mei Weiwei and Li Daixi went shopping. Mai Sichong initially intended to go home but eventually joined Mei Weiwei and Li Daixi. As the others left, Jun Jun followed Xia Rui. Jun Jun asked Xia Rui about his wish, to which he replied he "had one before, now. . ."

Jun Jun then shared that she "didn't have one before, but now I have one." Xia Rui offered her a taxi, but Jun Jun declined, saying she could walk. Xia Rui then promised he would no longer interfere in her affairs with Mai Sichong, leaving her with a lingering thought she couldn't express. Meanwhile, Mai Sichong expressed his desire to spend more time alone with Mei Weiwei before he left for training.

Mei Weiwei teased him, claiming his mind was "dangerous" and she couldn't be alone with him, suggesting he go find Li Daixi instead. Back in the dorm, Li Daixi pressed Mei Weiwei about what she and Mai Sichong had done the previous night, noting Mei Weiwei's blushing face. Li Daixi, trying to act as Mei Weiwei's relationship coach, advised her to control the pace of their relationship and not let Mai Sichong lead.

Mei Weiwei hesitantly admitted she "would love to" go further, but Li Daixi dismissed this as Mei Weiwei being "obsessed with his good looks." Li Daixi then messaged Ding Yi to keep an eye on Mai Sichong. Ding Yi called Mai Sichong on the phone to ask about his "progress" with Mei Weiwei, mentioning Li Daixi's concern.

Mai Sichong clarified that he and Mei Weiwei had only held hands and kissed, surprising Ding Yi who had assumed their public displays of affection meant more. At a cafe, Bai Hui kept Zhang Yuxin company while she worked overtime, reading a book nearby. He simply stated he wanted to find a place to read. Soon, Zhang Weixin, Zhang Yuxin’s father, arrived.

Bai Hui, introducing himself as Zhang Yuxin's classmate and monitor, boldly warned Zhang Weixin not to resort to violence or shouting in a public place. Zhang Weixin assured him that Zhang Yuxin was his daughter. Zhang Yuxin asked Bai Hui to wait, saying she needed to face her father alone. Zhang Weixin expressed how much he missed her during the winter break and apologized for not taking good care of her.

He announced that he had resigned from his company and planned to open a coffee shop, which would allow him more time to be with her. He sincerely regretted his impulsive actions previously, vowing to be a good father from then on and welcoming her home anytime. After her father left, promising to visit often, Zhang Yuxin broke down in tears and cried on Bai Hui's shoulder.

Later, Peng Pai was at a work dinner, forced to drink heavily by his manager to secure a project. The manager criticized him for not learning the ropes and risking being "eliminated by this age." Despite having already thrown up three times, Peng Pai was made to drink more. Disoriented, he later looked at a photo of himself with Mei Weiwei, reflecting on their past, before stumbling away, too inebriated for deep thought.

Mei Weiwei learned from her teaching secretary that her GPA met the requirements to change her major. She hesitated, unsure of her next step. Li Daixi suggested she could become Mai Sichong's personal rehabilitator, accompanying him to competitions. Mei Weiwei indulged in a daydream where Mai Sichong proudly introduced her as "my personal rehabilitator Mei Weiwei, the best in the world, and my favorite person."

Her fantasy was abruptly shattered when a drunken Peng Pai appeared downstairs, shouting her name at the dorm entrance. The dorm manager asked Mei Weiwei to handle him. As Mei Weiwei struggled to support a staggering Peng Pai, she tried to call Mai Sichong. Peng Pai snatched her phone, declaring, "Weiwei is mine. You are nobody!" He produced a keychain Mei Weiwei had once given him, pleading for her to stay by his side.

He then forcefully embraced her, attempting to kiss her, claiming she truly loved him and that Mai Sichong only cared about swimming. Just then, Mai Sichong arrived, furious, and punched Peng Pai. Mei Weiwei intervened, stopping Mai Sichong. Mai Sichong, though angry, clarified that his anger was not directed at Mei Weiwei, but at himself for not being able to arrive faster or constantly protect her, and for letting her suffer as her boyfriend.

He asked her to share all her emotions with him, promising to be her "strongest support." They then embraced under the dim streetlights, while Peng Pai, defeated, sat alone and wept. The next morning, Mai Sichong went to Peng Pai's company. He sternly warned Peng Pai not to use any excuse to approach Mei Weiwei again, threatening severe consequences if he did.

Peng Pai retorted that he would do anything for Mei Weiwei and that they shared many memories unknown to Mai Sichong. Mai Sichong dismissed his words as "bullshit," reiterating his command to stay away from Mei Weiwei. Peng Pai challenged him, asking who said he couldn't like her. Mai Sichong disdainfully replied that Peng Pai shouldn't need a junior to teach him "what is like." Peng Pai was left standing there, stunned.

Mai Sichong then prepared to leave for the provincial team training, with his mother offering many last-minute instructions: controlling his temper, getting along with teammates, and not secretly playing with his phone after lights out. Mei Weiwei gave him a durian candy, confessing that she now found it "okay," even though she used to dislike it. He teasingly took it for himself.

Mei Weiwei instructed him to video call her daily, report his schedule, eat well, sleep well, and train diligently. As Mai Sichong got into the taxi, Mei Weiwei felt a pang of sadness. To her delight, he unexpectedly ran back for a final, heartwarming hug before finally leaving. Upon arriving at the training camp, a team leader announced that during closed training, all communication equipment must be handed in uniformly.

Phones would only be distributed for one hour daily to allow contact with family and girlfriends, with no distractions permitted otherwise. Mai Sichong initially tried to claim he hadn't brought his phone, but eventually had to hand it over. Meanwhile, Mei Weiwei, receiving no response to her messages asking about his arrival and teammates, felt a growing sense of emptiness.

Episode 18 Recap

Mai Sichong joined the provincial team, but the distance did not cool his relationship with Mei Weiwei. They continued to exchange gifts, voice messages, and video calls daily. During one video call, Mai Sichong saw Mei Weiwei studying in a common area and playfully told her not to be distracted. Meanwhile, Li Daixi was preparing to confess her feelings to Ding Yi after arranging to watch a movie.

With much awkwardness and hesitation, she finally declared, "It means I love you!" Ding Yi, overwhelmed with joy upon realizing her feelings, immediately asked if he was her boyfriend, to which Li Daixi enthusiastically replied, "Of course!" The two decided to keep their relationship a secret until Mai Sichong returned, as Ding Yi felt it would be hard for Mei Weiwei to see them together while Mai Sichong was away.

Ding Yi then agreed to help Mai Sichong prepare a surprise for Mei Weiwei. Later, as they worked on the surprise, Ding Yi jokingly questioned Li Daixi's excessive enthusiasm for Mai Sichong's matters, to which she retorted, "Besides you, who else can fall in love with me?" While helping with the surprise, Li Daixi attempted to engage in some public display of affection with Ding Yi, but he subtly pulled his hand away, maintaining their secret.

Mei Weiwei was delighted by the surprise, expressing her gratitude to Ding Yi, who explained Mai Sichong had called him specifically to arrange it. Mei Weiwei commented that she and Mai Sichong were "star-crossed lovers" due to their long-distance. Li Daixi then teased Ding Yi that Mai Sichong had plagiarized her "light painting" idea for the surprise, and Mei Weiwei enthusiastically offered to take a light painting photo for them.

After her final exams, Mei Weiwei fell ill, causing her unique electrical abilities to become unstable and even rendering her phone unusable. Mai Sichong, unable to reach her, worriedly called Ding Yi to check on her, who promised to ask Li Daixi. Mai Sichong later used a public phone to call Jun Jun, expressing his desire to return.

Jun Jun reassured him that Mei Weiwei was recovering from a fever and promised to take good care of her, allowing him to focus on his training. Jun Jun delivered preserved egg and lean meat porridge and medicine to Mei Weiwei, explaining that Mai Sichong had arranged it all. Mei Weiwei was touched, realizing how much she missed him, as this was their longest time apart.

Mai Sichong was summoned to Coach Cai's office, where he was informed of an anonymous report accusing him of using stimulants to overcome old injuries and achieve his top rank, thus entering the provincial training camp. Mai Sichong vehemently denied the allegations, insisting his performance was genuine and his past injuries did not affect his current abilities, an assertion supported by his rehabilitation doctors. He argued that his past concealment of illness should not be used to slander him.

To clear his name, Mai Sichong readily agreed to undergo regular drug tests at a designated hospital. Back at the dorm, Jun Jun and Mei Weiwei opened blind boxes. Jun Jun subtly guided Mei Weiwei to open a specific box, which contained a train ticket to Mai Sichong's city. Encouraged by Jun Jun, Mei Weiwei traveled to the training center. After some initial difficulty with the security guard, she finally met Mai Sichong.

Overjoyed and relieved, she rushed into his arms. Mai Sichong, concerned, examined her injured hand and apologized for not being there. He then took her to the swimming pool to meet his teammates. His teammates teased him about his girlfriend, and one jokingly warned Mei Weiwei that many female athletes were interested in Mai Sichong, prompting him to swiftly lead her away.

As they enjoyed their time together, Mai Sichong gifted Mei Weiwei a Hello Kitty plushie, knowing her fondness for it. He playfully admitted that his aversion to durian had turned into an addiction, a subtle nod to their growing closeness. As their time together drew to a close, Mei Weiwei reminded Mai Sichong to train well and return in triumph sooner rather than later.

Before she left, Mai Sichong affectionately marked her hand, explaining that she should show it if anyone tried to hit on her, declaring her as "Mai Sichong's girlfriend." He watched her depart, lost in thought. During the school holidays, Mei Weiwei returned home but continued her video calls with Mai Sichong. One night, while whispering to Mai Sichong from the living room, her parents were startled by the noise, mistaking it for an intruder.

They discovered Mei Weiwei secretly chatting on her phone and playfully scolded her for her late-night "English studies," fully aware of her burgeoning romance. Meanwhile, Mai Sichong mentioned that a female athlete had recently confessed to him, but Mei Weiwei was reassured when he showed her the "Mai Sichong's girlfriend" mark on his clothes, a clear sign of his commitment. Mei Weiwei's father, observing from a distance, noticed the increasingly obvious signs of his daughter's new relationship.

Later, Mei Weiwei went to the station expecting to meet Mai Sichong, but only Xia Rui appeared. Xia Rui vaguely explained that Mai Sichong had been "held back" at the training center due to "some matters" but didn't know the specifics. Disappointed and worried, Mei Weiwei's heart was filled with growing concern.

Episode 19 Recap

Mai Sichong's mother waited for him outside the training hall, eager to know what the leaders discussed. Mai Sichong simply stated that they only asked basic questions. His mother then pressed him about his knee, but he claimed it had healed long ago and that good athletes are allowed to have past injuries. She also suggested that a drug test would clarify everything.

With Mei Weiwei waiting, Mai Sichong quickly excused himself, leaving his parents, with his mother commenting about their son growing up and prioritizing his girlfriend. Rushing back to school, Mai Sichong pulled Mei Weiwei into a hug. Though she playfully denied missing him, he apologized for not replying to her messages, vaguely mentioning provincial team matters.

Mei Weiwei sensed he was hiding something, but Mai Sichong reassured her with promises of instant replies and treats, dispelling her anger and filling her with joy. Meanwhile, Li Daixi confronted Ding Yi about publicly announcing their relationship. Ding Yi's evasive replies, citing shyness and comparing it to a celebrity announcement, irritated Li Daixi. She angrily accused him of being ashamed of her, which he denied.

As Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei approached, a provincial team colleague mentioned Mai Sichong's situation, but Li Daixi stormed off, with Ding Yi scrambling to follow her. Mai Sichong then informed Mei Weiwei about the anonymous report alleging he used stimulants during the trials. Just then, he received a text message warning him not to take the drug test if he didn't want a certain video to be made public.

Dismissing it as spam, Mai Sichong assured Mei Weiwei that a drug test would clear his name, and she insisted on accompanying him. At the hospital for the drug test, Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei cheerfully made plans for the day, including ice skating and seafood, bantering playfully about a past movie outing with Peng Pai where Mai Sichong admitted to intentionally sabotaging it out of jealousy. While Mei Weiwei went to the restroom, Mai Sichong received another text.

His expression immediately changed as he realized the "video" referred to the surveillance footage of Mei Weiwei accidentally shocking the security guard. To protect her, Mai Sichong abruptly grabbed Mei Weiwei’s hand and, despite her confusion, told her the provincial team had suddenly instructed them to switch to another hospital for a more comprehensive drug test, whisking her away from the building.

Mei Weiwei took Mai Sichong to her home, hoping to cheer him up with a home-cooked meal, as she worried he wouldn’t eat well with his impending provincial team responsibilities. Despite her dishes being excessively salty, Mai Sichong valiantly ate every bite, showering her with compliments and even asking to pack the leftovers, all to protect her feelings.

Privately, he mused about women being made of "salt water" and decided he needed to learn to cook to prevent them from starving. Over dinner, Mei Weiwei shared the painful story of her special ability causing misunderstandings and ostracization, leading her to transfer schools and take her graduation photos alone. Hearing her hardships, Mai Sichong’s resolve to keep her secret and protect her from further hurt strengthened.

He lied again about the drug test, assuring her they were just looking for a facility to conduct more tests. Later, Mai Sichong received a call from Coach Peipei, but recalling the day's events, he chose not to answer. Meanwhile, Ding Yi finally caught up with Li Daixi, who was still upset. She pressed him for a real reason why he wouldn't publicize their relationship.

Ding Yi, in a moment of honesty, confessed he felt unworthy of her, comparing himself unfavorably to his accomplished friends Mai Sichong (the pride of the swim team), Huihui (the health master), and Xia Rui (the perfect good man), while he was bad at everything, only good at eating, last in swimming, and a game noob.

Li Daixi found his sudden awkwardness amusing but reassured him, affirming that she loved his passion for food, didn't care about his swimming performance, and appreciated him playing games with her, regardless of his skill. Her words brought a smile back to Ding Yi's face, and the two reconciled over crab. Back in his room, Mai Sichong reflected on a past conversation with Peng Pai about feeling "electrified" after seeing Mei Weiwei.

His mother then entered, asking about the drug test. Mai Sichong lied, saying the results would take a while. After his mother left, Mai Sichong, suspecting Peng Pai might be the anonymous reporter, sent him a text warning him not to harm Mei Weiwei, then began searching for the unknown number's origin. Downstairs, Mai Sichong's mother received a call from Coach Peipei, who revealed that Mai Sichong had not taken the drug test and might face expulsion from school.

Rumors quickly spread throughout the swim team and school that Mai Sichong had missed his drug test, confirming cheating allegations and leading to his potential removal from the provincial team. Mei Weiwei, deeply worried, repeatedly messaged Mai Sichong but received no response. Li Daixi, having received a message from Ding Yi about the situation, tried to comfort Mei Weiwei, but Mei Weiwei remained visibly distressed by the escalating rumors.

Mai Sichong's parents confronted him, his mother asking if he had indeed gone to the hospital and gotten tested. He admitted to going but not taking the test. When questioned if he had taken any substances, Mai Sichong vehemently denied it, asserting that swimming was his dream and he would never jeopardize it. He maintained his innocence but stated he could not explain his reasons for missing the test, reiterating that he had a clear conscience.

His father tried to impress upon him the gravity of the situation, warning of potential demerits or expulsion, but Mai Sichong stood firm, unwilling to disclose the truth to protect Mei Weiwei's secret. He ended the conversation by stating he was full and leaving. Coincidentally, Peng Pai learned about the doping allegations and Mai Sichong's missed drug test from a colleague, who urged him to talk to Mai Sichong. Just as he was processing this information, Mai Sichong arrived to meet him.

Episode 20 Recap

Mei Weiwei was troubled and had no appetite, unable to move past her worries about Mai Sichong. Meanwhile, Ding Yi and Xia Rui also discussed Mai Sichong, with Ding Yi expressing concern about the doping test incident. Xia Rui, observing Ding Yi's doubts, seemed to hesitate, holding back his true thoughts. Under mounting pressure, Mai Sichong remained silent about the truth. Instead, he sought out Mei Weiwei, knowing she was equally anxious about the situation.

He reassuringly comforted her, promising that everything would be resolved. However, Mei Weiwei sensed he was hiding something. The next day, Mei Weiwei received a call from Mai Sichong's mother and, after a brief instruction to Yu Xin and Baihui, rushed off, leaving them confused by her hurried departure. Mai Sichong's mother had called Mei Weiwei to persuade Mai Sichong to take the doping test. From his mother's words, Mei Weiwei realized that Mai Sichong had also deceived her.

It turned out he hadn't gone for the test at all. Recalling his suspicious behavior in the hospital a few days prior, Mei Weiwei grew anxious. As soon as Mai Sichong’s mother left, Mei Weiwei immediately tried to call him, but his phone was off. Ding Yi then informed her that Mai Sichong had gone to see Peng Pai that morning. Overwhelmed with anxiety, Mei Weiwei also rushed to find Peng Pai.

From Peng Pai, she learned that Mai Sichong was trying to identify the mysterious person who possessed a video. When asked about his choice, Mai Sichong declared he would rather give up his swimming career than let Mei Weiwei's life be ruined. Witnessing Mai Sichong's resolute determination, Peng Pai decided to offer his help in tracing the anonymous number. Overhearing this, Mei Weiwei was stunned into silence and could only wordlessly depart from Peng Pai.

In Ms. Meiling's office, Mai Sichong was with Coach Peipei when Ms. Meiling stormed in, angrily questioning him about the doping test. Coach Peipei stepped forward to vouch for Mai Sichong, asserting that her team members would never betray sportsmanship. As Ms. Meiling pressed Mai Sichong repeatedly, Mei Weiwei burst in, out of breath, and promised the teacher that she could find evidence to clear Mai Sichong’s name.

However, when Mai Sichong caught up to Mei Weiwei, she couldn't help but express her anger over his concealment. Mai Sichong apologized and explained his reasons for keeping things from her, fearing it would burden her or interfere with her dream. They both agreed that he shouldn't keep such important matters from her again and decided to work together to find the mysterious person within the short time they had left.

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei walked along the path where Mei Weiwei had encountered the perverted security guard, wondering if he could be seeking revenge. However, the security guard on duty informed them that the original guard was still in prison. He did mention that a male student from "their group" had come to review the surveillance footage.

Armed with this new information, Mei Weiwei returned to her dorm and questioned Li Daixi about whether she had inadvertently revealed Mei Weiwei's electric secret. Li Daixi denied everything. Li Daixi and Mei Weiwei then spoke to Jun Jun, who mentioned Xia Rui had been present at the time of the incident. Independently, Mai Sichong also heard Xia Rui's name from Peng Pai.

Mai Sichong, who had always trusted Xia Rui's character, fell into deep thought after Peng Pai's suggestive remarks. Mai Sichong's parents, hoping to help him avoid the doping test, invited Captain Li to dinner. Mai Sichong arrived and assured Captain Li that he would participate in the test on time. Captain Li mentioned the anonymous report, suggesting it was highly probable that the anonymous informant was a teammate from the training camp.

Despite the accumulating circumstantial evidence, Mai Sichong still found it hard to believe such a despicable act could be committed by Xia Rui. Upon returning to the dorm, driven by curiosity, Mai Sichong called the anonymous number. A phone vibrated in the room, and Mai Sichong found it in Xia Rui's drawer. Mai Sichong then rushed to the swimming pool, ignoring Ding Yi's words, determined to confront Xia Rui.

Episode 21 Recap

Mei Weiwei and her friends were trying to reach Mai Sichong, but his phone was unreachable. Li Daixi then informed them that Lin Baihui had mentioned Mai Sichong wasn't in the dorm. Mei Weiwei instructed Li Daixi to call Ding Yi, who confirmed Mai Sichong had just arrived at the swimming pool and gone to the locker room to confront Xia Rui, refusing to let anyone else in. Ding Yi noted Mai Sichong's unprecedented anger.

Mei Weiwei and the others immediately headed to the gym. Inside the locker room, Mai Sichong confronted Xia Rui, who, seeing Mai Sichong's fury, knew his actions had been discovered. Xia Rui admitted to reporting Mai Sichong to the provincial team for cheating and sending the incriminating video and pictures. Mai Sichong questioned his betrayal, considering their long training together as a friendship.

However, Xia Rui coldly stated they were competitors, not friends, and that Mai Sichong's weakness allowed him to win. He confessed to knowing Mei Weiwei was electriferous and considered her his "last bargaining chip," threatening Mai Sichong with the public exposure of Mei Weiwei's condition if he didn't comply. Enraged by Xia Rui using Mei Weiwei, Mai Sichong punched him, leading to a brawl. Ding Yi and the others burst in, separating them.

As Xia Rui left the swimming pool, he passed Mei Weiwei, but his indifferent facade crumbled when he saw the disappointment on Jun Jun's face, a sudden wave of shame washing over him before he walked away with his head bowed. Mai Sichong later revealed to Ding Yi that Xia Rui was the one who reported him to the provincial team for cheating, leaving Ding Yi speechless with shock.

When Mei Weiwei and the rest arrived, seeing Mai Sichong's bruised lip, they inferred the confrontation. Mei Weiwei's heart ached for Mai Sichong's visible distress. Alone on a bench, Xia Rui was consumed by regret. He remembered Mai Sichong's past encouragement, who once noted his slowed speed and challenged him not to give up, acknowledging Xia Rui as one of the few who could beat him.

He also recalled Jun Jun's firm words at the hot spring party, reminding him that Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei were a couple, and that not all unrequited love finds a resolution, even when Xia Rui argued that Mai Sichong ignored Jun Jun's long-standing affection. Overwhelmed, Xia Rui crumpled the beer cans in his hand. In the dormitory, Ding Yi rallied everyone, asserting that Xia Rui was blackmailing Mai Sichong.

He pressed Li Daixi for information, then speculated if Mei Weiwei was involved. When Ding Yi urged Mai Sichong to open up, Mei Weiwei started to reveal her secret. However, Mai Sichong quickly interrupted, feigning thirst and leading her away to buy water. Outside, Mei Weiwei questioned why he stopped her, suggesting that revealing her electriferous condition would neutralize Xia Rui's threat.

Mai Sichong, however, expressed concern for Mei Weiwei's safety, telling her he didn't want her to risk herself for him. He advised her to protect herself first, and then they would face the challenges together. Later, when Li Daixi noticed Mei Weiwei's distress, Mei Weiwei tried to cover up. Upon returning to the dorm, Xia Rui was immediately confronted by Ding Yi, who angrily questioned his betrayal of their friendship.

Xia Rui retorted that they were rivals, not brothers, justifying his actions as his only path to the provincial team, unlike Mai Sichong, who had a wealthy family as a safety net. Ding Yi condemned his "despicable" behavior. As Xia Rui left, he was met by Mei Weiwei, who earnestly pleaded with him to let her and Mai Sichong go, appealing to what she believed was his fundamentally good nature and asking them not to become enemies.

Xia Rui remained unyielding, asserting that Mai Sichong's departure was his only way into the provincial team. He then cynically questioned if Mai Sichong would truly sacrifice his dream for her, accusing Mei Weiwei of never cherishing anyone, and dismissed her pleas before heading off to training, stating he wouldn't be manipulated. They parted ways on hostile terms. Seeking a solution, Mei Weiwei went to the hospital with her parents, where they met Dr. Jiang.

Mei Weiwei immediately expressed her desire to try the experimental therapy. Dr. Jiang explained that this therapy involved high-voltage instruments and drugs to maintain a heart rate below 110 long-term, and warned that it was still in testing with inherent risks, initially advising against it in favor of stabilizing medication.

However, Mei Weiwei, driven by the thought that eliminating her electricity would remove Xia Rui's leverage over Mai Sichong, firmly insisted on the experimental therapy, viewing it as her last resort. Despite Dr. Jiang's continued warnings about the risks, Mei Weiwei pleaded, stating she simply wanted to live like a normal person. Dr. Jiang then agreed to proceed. Mei Weiwei later began night running at the gym.

Later, Ding Yi, still perplexed by the conflict between Mai Sichong and Xia Rui and the reason Mai Sichong would skip a drug test, deduced Mei Weiwei must be the secret. He and his friends then spotted Mei Weiwei night running, looking "weird," and followed her. They witnessed Mei Weiwei's electricity cause a vending machine to spark and shut down.

Mai Sichong quickly arrived, and Mei Weiwei initially tried to deny anything happened, but Mai Sichong conceded, "This is the whole thing." Realizing the truth, their friends understood that Xia Rui had discovered Mei Weiwei's condition and was using it to blackmail Mai Sichong. Mai Sichong then implored them to keep Mei Weiwei's secret, to which they all readily agreed.

Xia Rui later encountered Jun Jun outside the dorm, who confronted him, asserting he must feel guilty since he anticipated her words. Jun Jun urged him to drop the report, as everyone would believe Mai Sichong cheated. Xia Rui defended his actions, contrasting his limited opportunities with Mai Sichong's privileged background and secure future, stating he had no other option to join the provincial team.

Jun Jun countered that his family background was no justification for such "despicable" actions that harmed both Mai Sichong and himself. Xia Rui, dismissive, questioned if her concern was truly for him or for Mai Sichong. Back in his dorm, Xia Rui stared silently at his past conversations with Jun Jun on his phone. In a classroom, students' phones simultaneously buzzed with news spreading through the school chat group: rumors of Mai Sichong cheating in the provincial training camp trials.

Many students blamed Mei Weiwei, calling her a "pest" and questioning the legitimacy of Mai Sichong's past achievements. Later, at a wellness lecture hosted by Lin Baihui, Mei Weiwei was met by a hostile crowd. The students directly confronted her, accusing her of being the reason Mai Sichong was exposed. Lin Baihui tried to defend her, but the students insisted Mai Sichong's actions were a disgrace.

Mei Weiwei attempted to clarify, starting to explain that Mai Sichong missed his drug test "because. . ." but was unable to voice the truth. Overwhelmed by the malicious accusations, she fled. Mai Sichong found Mei Weiwei and immediately apologized for failing to protect her, acknowledging the suffering she endured because of him. Mei Weiwei insisted it wasn't his fault and that she could protect him too.

She suggested letting Xia Rui reveal her secret and urged Mai Sichong to take the drug test, asking him why he should bear the burden of her condition. Mai Sichong reassured her, promising to find a solution within the deadline and telling her to prioritize her own well-being. Mei Weiwei made him promise to take the drug test before the deadline.

Mai Sichong then made a heartfelt pledge, promising to always support her, to bear any burden, pave any difficult path, and ensure they would have a beautiful life together, reassuring her not to be afraid because he would always be by her side. Returning home, both Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei independently reflected on their current predicaments and their feelings for each other.

Mei Weiwei remembered the isolation and bullying she endured due to her electricity, and Mai Sichong's promise to protect her. Mai Sichong, in turn, recalled his deep passion for swimming, Mei Weiwei's unwavering belief in his potential as an Olympic champion, and his commitment to building a beautiful future with her.

Mei Weiwei then received a phone call from Mai Sichong, who, sensing her distress, assured her he was seeking more time for his drug test and even contemplated giving up competitive swimming to become a coach if necessary, emphasizing their safety as paramount. Deeply moved by his words and potential sacrifice, Mei Weiwei went to see Dr. Jiang alone.

Despite Dr. Jiang's renewed warnings about the risks of the experimental therapy, Mei Weiwei firmly insisted, stating her prescribed medication hadn't worked and this was her last chance to live like a normal person, confirming her parents' awareness and her belief that her condition was a form of "human over-evolution." Finally, she lay down on the experimental test bed. After undergoing the experimental therapy, Mei Weiwei, completely drained, collapsed at the entrance of her dormitory.

Li Daixi and others heard the commotion and rushed to help her back inside. When Mei Weiwei finally awoke, she found Mai Sichong lying beside her. He, clearly worried, asked how she was feeling and what had happened, explaining Li Daixi had called him when she fainted. Mei Weiwei, however, was focused on a profound change within herself; her electricity, she realized, had completely vanished.

Episode 22 Recap

Mai Sichong listened intently as Mei Weiwei explained the changes she felt, her electricity seeming to have disappeared after Dr. Jiang's treatment. Mei Weiwei’s mother expressed concern, fearing potential harm, but Mei Weiwei assured them the treatment was effective. Unbeknownst to them, Mei Weiwei’s parents were eavesdropping outside their room and burst in, filled with joy. Mei Weiwei’s father then questioned Mai Sichong directly about his relationship with Mei Weiwei.

After a slight hesitation, Mai Sichong bravely declared his feelings, stating, "I like Weiwei." Mei Weiwei’s father, however, advised them to prioritize their studies, while her mother, eager to distract, playfully suggested a cooking competition. Back at the training room, Xia Rui was urged by Jun Jun to confess any wrongdoing before it was too late, but he remained silent, facing Ding Yi's cold demeanor.

Ding Yi, who was initially disdainful of Xia Rui's despicable actions, then received a video call from Li Daixi sharing the good news that the crisis was resolved. She happily announced that Mai Sichong would soon undergo a drug test, implying that any previous accusations against him would be debunked. Ding Yi, seizing the opportunity, mocked Xia Rui, suggesting he learn from Mai Sichong, which caused Xia Rui to leave abruptly.

Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei missed the hospital's deadline for Mai Sichong's drug test and were told they needed to return the next day with an official application for a retest from their school. As it was late and they couldn't find a taxi, they decided to stay in a hotel. Mei Weiwei found one hotel too luxurious, but Mai Sichong insisted on a comfortable stay for her. To their surprise, only one room was available.

The young couple, still new to their romance, found themselves shy and nervous sharing a room. After Mei Weiwei had showered, Mai Sichong offered to blow-dry her wet hair. The close proximity and the casual touch of his fingers through her hair made them both incredibly self-conscious. Unable to bear the tension, Mai Sichong went back to the front desk to ask if any other rooms had become available.

Coincidentally, a room had just been vacated, much to their "relief," allowing them to sleep in separate rooms. The next day, Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei met with Ms. Meiling to sort out the procedures. Mai Sichong expressed his desire to reapply for the drug test, asserting he had not cheated. However, Ms. Meiling regretfully informed them that the deadline for the drug test had already passed, and Mai Sichong had been removed from the provincial team.

She did, however, convey that the school, trusting his coach's belief in his innocence, had decided to issue him a "criticism discipline" instead of a harsher punishment. Mai Sichong, though disheartened, accepted the news and gently led a stunned Mei Weiwei away. Meanwhile, Ms. Peipei discussed Mai Sichong's situation with Xia Rui, grappling with the timing of announcing his disciplinary action.

She informed Xia Rui that the news would be posted the next day alongside the provincial team list and advised him to comfort Mai Sichong. She also reminded Xia Rui, who had been recruited to the provincial team, to maintain a balance between training and rest. Xia Rui, with mixed emotions, quickly agreed. Mei Weiwei was consumed by guilt, believing Mai Sichong’s provincial team expulsion was her fault because he had protected her.

Mai Sichong, however, comforted her, telling her not to dwell on it. He assured her that while swimming was once the most important thing in his life, meeting her had opened his eyes to countless possibilities and wonderful, exciting moments. He affectionately called her his "cutest, happiest Pikachu," whether she had electricity or not. His words brought a smile back to Mei Weiwei’s face.

Later, Mai Sichong found Ding Yi and the others, but Mei Weiwei was not with them, having been called away by Yuxin. It turned out Mei Weiwei was working to help Mai Sichong’s swimming career. She and Yuxin met with Yuxin's father, Zhang Weixin, who explained that the provincial team leaders were concerned about Mai Sichong's "misconduct" and needed a credible person to vouch for his abilities.

He suggested finding a "lobbyist" with public credibility who had no personal connections to Mai Sichong or his family. Mei Weiwei immediately thought of her idol, Xun Yang. The next day, Xia Rui noticed that the announcement regarding Mai Sichong's discipline had not been posted. It was soon revealed that Xun Yang had stepped forward to clarify Mai Sichong's situation.

City leaders arrived to observe the provincial team extra trial between Mai Sichong and Xia Rui, with officials emphasizing the importance of the race and requiring pre-race drug tests for both competitors. Xun Yang was present, offering Mai Sichong his support. As the crowd waited, Xia Rui was conspicuously absent.

Mai Sichong went to the locker room and found an apology note from Xia Rui, admitting his jealousy and acknowledging that he had already lost their competition from the start, rendering the race meaningless. Xia Rui expressed regret for hurting Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei and announced his withdrawal from the competition. Mai Sichong’s parents anxiously awaited news of the extra trial at home. Finally, they received a message announcing Mai Sichong's success: he achieved an excellent score of 50.

35 seconds and was successfully admitted to the provincial team. With the new semester underway, life seemed to be flourishing. One day, Mai Sichong asked Mei Weiwei if she had any unfulfilled wishes. She confessed that due to her special condition, she had never had the chance to swim. Mai Sichong, a swimming champion himself, offered to teach her. Mei Weiwei was hesitant at the pool, admitting she had never swum before and had almost choked last time.

Mai Sichong reassured her, promising he wouldn't let go and that she shouldn't be scared with him by her side. As they entered the water, she playfully accused him of trying to take advantage, to which he retorted she was the one taking advantage. With his support, Mei Weiwei finally experienced the joy of swimming. She reflected on how she used to constantly worry about her electric condition, never daring to dream about such experiences or even her future. Mai Sichong gently encouraged her to now plan for her future, and for "our future" together.

Episode 23 Recap

Students gathered around the announcement board, where Mai Sichong's entry into the provincial swimming team with excellent results was proudly displayed. Mei Weiwei's friends teased her, noting her eagerness to share the news with Mai Sichong, observing that women in love are indeed difficult to handle. Amidst their joy, Jun Jun spotted Xia Rui. Ding Yi and others tried to locate him, only to find his dorm bed empty and a crumpled photo, indicating his departure.

Earlier, during a pre-match drug test, Xia Rui had offered a general apology, admitting he owed the team one. Junjun found a silent and dejected Xia Rui downstairs. He was still preoccupied with Jun Jun's feelings for Mai Sichong and only briefly touched on his scheme against Mai Sichong. Jun Jun urged him to apologize to Mai Sichong, but Xia Rui asked if Mai Sichong was the only one in her heart.

She replied that it didn't matter, only that he shouldn't lose his goodness. Xia Rui adamantly refused to apologize, stating that everything has a price, and his price was no one's forgiveness. He also claimed Mai Sichong's price was undergoing a drug test and the public disclosure of Mei Weiwei's electrified condition. Jun Jun warned him that he would only destroy himself and declared that if he remained stubborn, this would be their last meeting.

Xia Rui then questioned if Jun Jun had ever cared about him. Jun Jun insisted that he should return to the dorm, believing his teammates would forgive him, but Xia Rui dismissed the idea. Jun Jun told him, "Xia Rui, I know you are not a bad person. As long as you admit your mistake, we are willing to accept you again." She also thanked him, acknowledging that he was the first person to truly see and understand her.

Xia Rui thanked Jun Jun in return, but insisted he needed to be alone to think about his future path. Jun Jun, with a radiant and shy gaze, reassured him that in her heart, his image had never been tarnished. As Mai Sichong and Mei Weiwei walked hand in hand, Mai Sichong suddenly felt a jolt of electricity. He pondered this, noting that his condition should have resolved, and Mei Weiwei's heart rate hadn't spiked.

Mei Weiwei dismissed it as static electricity, assuring him that the electricity had disappeared and wouldn't return. Later, Mei Weiwei asked Mai Sichong for his thoughts on Xia Rui's actions, then asked if she should forgive him. Mai Sichong confessed that from their first encounter, he saw Xia Rui as a hardworking and determined individual, not inherently malicious, believing him to be a good person despite recent events.

Mei Weiwei was impressed by Mai Sichong's newfound generosity, to which he playfully claimed he had always been so. Mai Sichong formally completed the procedures to join the provincial team. His coach, Ms. Meiling, praised his hard work and reminded him to represent their school well. Ding Yi expressed his sadness about Mai Sichong leaving the dorm, lamenting that he would be left alone with Baihui, who has a strict daily routine.

Mai Sichong joked that Ding Yi should join Baihui instead of staying up late playing games, lest he go bald and get dumped by Li Daixi. Ding Yi then asked if Mai Sichong still cared about Xia Rui's past actions, to which Mai Sichong simply said it was all in the past. Soon after, Mai Sichong received a message from Xia Rui, asking to meet.

At the basketball court, Xia Rui confessed to Mai Sichong that he had framed him and had already informed Coach Peipei. He also revealed that he had applied to drop out, assuring Mai Sichong that he had kept Mei Weiwei's condition a secret. Xia Rui then apologized. Mai Sichong responded by sharing his initial impressions of Xia Rui: silent, disciplined, and talented.

He recounted how Xia Rui's ambition to win a national championship inspired Mai Sichong to consider him a true opponent. Mai Sichong then proposed a final, fair match in the swimming pool. Their friends observing understood that this was not just a competition, but an act of reconciliation. In the pool, the two swam with passion, not only chasing each other but also their dreams. As they reached the wall simultaneously, they embraced, releasing their shared burdens.

Xia Rui thanked Mai Sichong. Later that evening, as Xia Rui departed, his friends bid him farewell, wishing him well and noting that he seemed to be preparing for the college entrance examination again, confident he would succeed. Not wanting the night to end, Mai Sichong's friends gathered at his house for a party, knowing his parents were away.

Mei Weiwei, having never been allowed to drink before for fear of accidentally electrifying people, enjoyed a glass of wine, with Mai Sichong promising to be there for her. During the celebration, Lin Kangkang presented Mai Sichong with special medicine packs for his recovering knee. He mentioned that Yuxin had chosen a matching knee pad for the medicine packs. The friends raised a toast, wishing Mai Sichong a bright future and success in winning championships.

The next morning, Mai Sichong awoke to find Mei Weiwei sleeping beside him. He was captivated by her sleeping face, leaned closer, and gave her a gentle kiss, which woke her up. After finding a note from Ding Yi downstairs, wishing him luck and implying his friends had orchestrated their alone time, Mai Sichong decided to make the most of their day.

He cooked a lavish meal, and Mei Weiwei presented him with a gift to congratulate his entry into the provincial team. As Mai Sichong reached for it, he again felt a jolt of electricity. Mei Weiwei quickly attributed it to static electricity, and in their joyful mood, they chose not to dwell on it. Mai Sichong, touched by the thoughtful gift, promised to wear it all the time, except during training, and offered Mei Weiwei his entire day.

Mei Weiwei returned home, delighted to finally embrace her parents without fear of electricity, a joy she had longed for since childhood. Her father playfully suggested her electricity had helped her find a boyfriend, which she denied, clarifying Mai Sichong loved her for who she was. Her parents, though happy, reminded her to remain cautious and undergo regular check-ups.

That night, Mei Weiwei and Mai Sichong shared a sweet video call, discussing their day and making plans for a camping trip the following day. However, as Mei Weiwei touched her computer after the call, she again felt a jolt of electricity. Despite checking her heart rate multiple times, there were no anomalies, leaving her bewildered.

The next morning, Mei Weiwei's mother entered her room to find her daughter with her arms crossed, enveloped in uncontrolled electricity, unable to touch anyone. Panicked, her parents immediately wrapped her in a raincoat to insulate her and rushed her to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor questioned Mei Weiwei about any alternative methods she might have used after her last treatment.

Under persistent questioning, Mei Weiwei confessed that she had taken an entire box of medication, leading to an unstable physical condition and chaotic electrical discharges. The doctor explained that while Mei Weiwei's heart rate appeared normal, her previous condition was linked to involuntary discharges determined by her heartbeat, which the bracelet helped monitor. Now, with the medication overdose, her electricity had become even more unstable.

The doctor prescribed new medication, a powerful sedative, to stabilize her condition, warning that she would experience extreme drowsiness for 24 hours. Additionally, the doctor recommended that Mei Weiwei find a secluded place with few people to recuperate for at least six months, suggesting her condition might then improve. Listening to the doctor's words, Mei Weiwei contemplated her predicament and future, biting her lip in distress.

Episode 24 (Ending) Recap

Mei Weiwei, having just returned from the hospital and taken medicine, joined Mai Sichong for a camping trip, wearing a raincoat she claimed was for expected rain. Mai Sichong found her cute and enthusiastically presented all the thoughtful provisions he had prepared for their outing, from food and chairs to a fishing rod, a telescope, and a thick tent to combat her sensitivity to cold.

Before they departed, they bid farewell to Mei Weiwei's parents, with Mai Sichong assuring them of his care for Weiwei. Unbeknownst to Mei Weiwei, Mai Sichong was on the phone with his coach, who discussed the demanding provincial team training schedule that awaited Mai Sichong, including a tournament and a six-month seclusion recommendation. Mei Weiwei inwardly marked this as their last meeting.

When Mai Sichong's coach learned he was with his girlfriend, he playfully warned him against distractions given his excellent track record. Mei Weiwei tried to inquire about Mai Sichong's intense future training, but Mai Sichong brushed it off, urging her to focus on enjoying their day. Later, while feeding alpacas, Mei Weiwei inadvertently shocked Mai Sichong again. He lightheartedly called her "Pikachu" but hinted at a growing concern over her "stronger" static electricity before quickly changing the subject to peacocks.

That night, inside their tent, Mai Sichong tenderly covered Mei Weiwei with a blanket, offering more if she was still cold. Noticing her contemplative mood, he asked if something was on her mind. Mei Weiwei thanked him, prompting Mai Sichong to reaffirm his promise to always protect his "Pikachu," which led Mei Weiwei to confess her love. Earlier in the evening, Mai Sichong had mused about their connection, asking if she would have loved him without her electric touch.

He admitted that while he initially believed her "shocks" were the catalyst for his affection, he later realized he was drawn to her from their very first meeting, finding her "troublesome yet interesting." He confessed to deliberately seeking her electric touches to get closer, humorously recalling his efforts to pursue the campus star. When Mei Weiwei questioned if he regretted it, Mai Sichong firmly stated he never regretted his actions, especially not loving her.

Their night ended with a sweet good night. The next morning, as Mai Sichong prepared to leave for provincial team training, they shared a tight, tearful embrace at Mei Weiwei's home. Mai Sichong, misinterpreting her intense sadness, jokingly asked if she already missed him or if her tears were due to not securing tickets for his upcoming tournament. Mei Weiwei reassured him that she would be there. As his car drove away, Mei Weiwei silently made a firm decision.

A narration reflected on the uncertainty of goodbyes. During his provincial team training, Mai Sichong focused on practice but constantly thought of Mei Weiwei, sending her unanswered messages and attempting calls despite strict phone restrictions. At his championship competition, only Ding Yi and Li Daixi were present. When Mai Sichong asked about Mei Weiwei, Ding Yi and Li Daixi vaguely mentioned "family matters" preventing her attendance but conveyed Mei Weiwei’s well wishes for his success.

Mai Sichong went on to win his seventh career championship. After training, eager to see Mei Weiwei, he convinced his mother to drive him directly to her house. His mother playfully chided him for prioritizing his girlfriend over family after being away for months. Upon arrival, they found Mei Weiwei's bookstore closed and her phone turned off.

Overwhelmed by worry, Mai Sichong left his luggage with his mother and rushed back to the dorm to confront Ding Yi and Li Daixi. A tearful Li Daixi confessed she didn't know where Mei Weiwei was; she and her parents had moved away without informing her, and Li Daixi herself was worried.

Mai Sichong saw a message on Li Daixi's phone revealing that Mei Weiwei's electric powers were out of control before he left for training, and she had asked him not to look for her. This revelation allowed Mai Sichong to connect all the strange occurrences: her raincoat, her "static electricity" excuses, and her profound sadness before his departure.

Searching for clues, Mai Sichong reviewed Mei Weiwei's past social media posts, finding an entry about her aunt's struggling flower shop on Nanxiao Road. Driven by this lead, he traced her steps to the new shop. He spotted Mei Weiwei preparing to deliver flowers, and their eyes met. Mai Sichong rushed towards her, but Mei Weiwei, determined to protect him from her unpredictable powers, quickly shut the door.

Despite his fervent pleas, she refused to open it, even threatening to shock him, to which he retorted he wasn't afraid. She then lied, claiming she no longer liked him, resentfully stating that she had faced difficult times alone without his companionship, which had exhausted her physically and mentally. She added that she didn't need a boyfriend who couldn't be there for her. With a firm "Let's break up," Mei Weiwei left Mai Sichong heartbroken and standing outside the door.

Still reeling from the breakup, Mai Sichong received a phone call from Ms. Peipei, his coach, who angrily reprimanded him for being late to provincial team training and causing trouble, especially given his past record. She demanded he immediately take a taxi back as the team had already departed for advanced training. Mai Sichong humbly apologized. After the call, still processing the recent events, Mai Sichong made a new decision and changed his direction.

Mei Weiwei then stepped out of her home only to find Mai Sichong waiting for her, holding fireworks. He gently reminded her of their romantic night at the resort when she had pledged to accept, understand, and tolerate all his imperfections. Acknowledging his own flaws, he reiterated his promise to always be there for her whenever she needed him. Mei Weiwei, however, expressed her deep concern, revealing that doctors couldn't even diagnose her condition and that they couldn't be together.

She compared herself to a "bomb," fearing she would bring him bad luck and eventually hurt him if her electricity grew more uncontrollable or never disappeared. Mai Sichong, unwavering, silenced her worries with a kiss and firmly declared, "There are no 'what ifs.' " Three years later, Lin Baihui was seen teaching traditional Chinese medicine in a club, his relationship with Yu Xin still strong. Meanwhile, Li Daixi, now a reporter, interviewed a successful Mai Sichong after another victory.

He publicly declared his intention to propose and secretly gave Li Daixi a hand-drawn treasure map, instructing her to deliver it to Mei Weiwei. After the interview, Mai Sichong encountered his old friend Xia Rui, who congratulated him on his win. Xia Rui then hesitantly asked about Jun Jun. Mai Sichong, discerning Xia Rui's feelings, took his phone, inputted Jun Jun's number, and encouraged him to call, then departed to see Mei Weiwei.

Taking a deep breath, Xia Rui dialed the number, and a familiar voice answered, bringing a smile to his face. Mei Weiwei, holding the treasure map, called Mai Sichong for guidance.
