Wei Daiqing arrived at the address the stranger had given him yesterday. It was a brewery, but upon entering, he saw many busy office staff. Meeting a familiar face, the person introduced him, explaining that this was actually a French Concession intelligence station, and all the personnel inside were from the intelligence bureau and were under Wei Daiqing's command. Hua Zhen helped Luo Minmin escape from the apartment balcony. To buy time for Chen Hao, he stayed put, faked the scene, and then escaped through the window as well. Since some people were lured away by Hua Zhen, the number of guards left for the imprisonment was slightly reduced. Chen Hao then quietly snuck into the target location, found the room where Reporter Peng was held. Reporter Peng was seriously injured.

Originally, Chen Hao thought they would escape together, but Reporter Peng was in a coma, so he had no choice but to carry him and run out with all his might. Feng Guangyun brought many people to catch Mrs. Peng. After great effort breaking down the door, they found that there was no one inside. Only then did Feng Guangyun realize he had been tricked. At this time, Chen Hao rescued Reporter Peng and escaped to safety.
