Huang Xinxin was walking to the village committee while talking to her boyfriend on the phone, unaware that Uncle Deqing was actually waiting by the gate. As soon as she appeared, he immediately approached her. Compared to his previous tough attitude, Uncle Deqing was surprisingly different this time—he took the initiative to apologize to Huang Xinxin and said that for the benefit of the entire village, he was willing to lower the rent.

To ease Huang Xinxin’s concerns, Uncle Deqing promised to convince his father and bring him along to sign the rental agreement. Orders for root carving, food, tie-dye, and inns skyrocketed, and even the town’s guesthouses were overbooked.

Xie Zhiyao, worried that the infrastructure couldn't meet tourist demands, called a meeting to discuss solutions. Lin Na, feeling down, wanted to take leave but was denied by Xie Xiaochun, so she reluctantly stayed to help. Xiaoqin started working at the clothing store, busy entertaining guests from all over the country and even abroad. Xie Xiaoxia remained shy and reserved, blushing the entire time as he responded to the teasing and flirtation of female tourists.

The village restaurants were packed, and the coffee shop also had long queues. Xu Hongdou and others came to help with the guests. After a long and exhausting day, everyone gathered at the inn. Huang Xinxin announced that the peak had passed; although there would still be many tourists next week, at least it wouldn’t be as intense as today.

Xie Zhiyao’s voice had gone completely hoarse from talking so much, and Xu Hongdou, feeling sorry for him, poured him a glass of water. Huang Xinxin teased that someone finally cared about him. Just then, Lin Na woke up from a nightmare, her eyes blank and drenched in sweat. Bai Manjun noticed that Hu Youyu had been avoiding her, so she decided to lay everything out.

Although Hu Youyu showed up when she was at her lowest, bringing her vitality and a sense of newness—stirring her heart and touching her—because of the age and identity gap between them, it was destined not to go further. She also hoped Hu Youyu wouldn't take that night seriously and shouldn't dwell on it. Unbeknownst to her, what seemed like comforting words made Hu Youyu feel even worse inside.

After handing out everyone’s salaries, Xie Zhiyao finally had time to be alone with Xu Hongdou and learned that she had already chosen the bathroom fixtures and furniture for the inn. Xu Hongdou had her own opinions about these things, believing money should be spent where it matters most. Xie Zhiyao admired her business sense, and the two laughed and chatted. Meanwhile, Lin Na received a mysterious phone call and hurriedly left the coffee shop, visibly frightened.

Xie Xiaochun also got a call warning him about hiring a fraudulent donation streamer as an employee, but he didn’t take it seriously, thinking it was a scam call. Da Mai saw an exposé and related comments trending online, revealing that Lin Na was actually the streamer “Nana Who Loves Singing,” who had disappeared from the internet after a donation fraud scandal. Da Mai angrily reported the exposé as false and immediately informed Xu Hongdou of the situation.

Meanwhile, Lin Na was packing in her room, claiming she needed to go home, but Xu Hongdou noticed she seemed panicked. Gently asking when she would return, Xu Hongdou’s tone made Lin Na realize she had seen the online posts.
