Xiao Qin was dating Yang Zhinan, a staff member at the guesthouse, but her father opposed the relationship, so she sulked at the stable and complained to Xie Zhiyao. Regarding his situation with Xu Hongdou, Xiao Qin advised him to take the initiative. Otherwise, if he always kept silent, he would eventually miss his chance.
