She then wondered if she, as Rong Yu, would be allowed to kiss him.
Later that night, Rong Yao noticed Zheng Ke still working late and appeared unusually distracted. After Zheng Ke briefly left his computer, Rong Yao accessed it and discovered that Zheng Ke had been researching kidney donors online. The following day, Rong Yao, accompanied by Li Yimeng and the rest of Task Force 84, visited Zheng Ke’s daughter, Xiaoxiao, at the hospital. They played happily with Xiaoxiao.
Zheng Ke, initially hesitant to involve his colleagues, was deeply touched by their visit and the joy they brought Xiaoxiao. Li Yimeng shared that her father was actively searching nationwide for a kidney donor for Xiaoxiao, and the process was progressing smoothly. However, Mr. Ou, expressing his preference for Huang Boyuan and his desire for a son-in-law with a clean background, invited Huang Boyuan to dinner as an apology on Ou Kexin’s behalf.
Tieguanyin then met with Huang Boyuan, encouraging him to make a good impression and assuring him she would manage Mu Qing. Ou Kexin was visibly displeased to find Huang Boyuan at dinner and attempted to leave, but her father stopped her. She then pointedly made Huang Boyuan move from her preferred seat.

When Mr. Ou ordered Yan Jing to restrain her, Ou Kexin defiantly stated that she was not a child to be locked up as she had been in France and would not be stopped, then walked out.
Despite the awkward situation, Huang Boyuan told Mr. Ou that he admired Ou Kexin’s strong personality. Separately, Tieguanyin met Mu Qing, reminding him that Mr. Ou sought a son-in-law with a clean background, suggesting that Mu Qing and Ou Kexin were not a suitable match. Mu Qing countered by questioning Huang Boyuan’s background. When Tieguanyin asked what he meant, Mu Qing warned her against using manipulative tricks, suggesting Mr. Ou might eventually take notice if she overstepped.
Tieguanyin angrily told Mu Qing to know his place and not meddle in others' affairs. Mu Qing then explicitly stated he had investigated Huang Boyuan, subtly alluding to Tieguanyin's involvement in an "ephedra shipment" incident five years prior. Mu Qing then declared his affection for Ou Kexin, threatening Tieguanyin with severe consequences if she attempted to push Ou Kexin toward anyone else.

Meanwhile, Zheng Ke reported the factory's layout, detailing numerous armed suspects at various entrances and positions. Rong Yao instructed his team, with Captain Bao coordinating with the Special Police Unit to neutralize external threats, while Bao Yunhai and Zhao Ran infiltrated the factory to pinpoint the exact location of the drug lab. They located the lab on the second floor, in the southeast. As they attempted to get closer, a guard confronted them, triggering the raid. A fierce firefight erupted, and the police engaged the suspects, moving to subdue them and take control of the drug factory.
