The plan, which involved personal details of Lu Zhengan and Lin Yang, required their approval before being presented to the brand. During the discussion, Lu Zhengan and Lin Yang found the detailed proposal a bit sentimental and too revealing.
Despite this, Lu Zhengan agreed to step forward and give a public explanation, while Lin Yang committed to staying home and not returning to the company, considering it a temporary leave until everything settled. The team decided to take a gamble on the bold plan. Before handing over the scheme, Li Tian made a condition: she wanted to meet Lu Zhengan alone.
Lu Zhengan met with Li Tian to thank her for her efforts and for her past, albeit misplaced, affection. Li Tian joked that she had earned the meeting on her own merits and that his prior intention to go public made her hard work seem redundant. She then revealed that sorting through their stories didn't sadden her; instead, she felt envious of their relationship and was certain she no longer harbored feelings for him.

He revealed that they had known each other since birth, were neighbors for six years, and he had pursued her for nearly a decade before she finally accepted him. He proudly introduced her as Lin Yang, the project director of Ruiye Advertising Agency. Excited, Ma Le boasted about his domestic skills and offered to cook for her sometime. He reflected that his life, once a boring drama, had transformed into a romantic one with her as the lead.
