Coach Huang, hearing the knock on the door, thought Lan Xin had arrived again, so he quickly put on his suit. However, upon opening the door, he found it was Lan Tian and Bai Yongze, and he was instantly a little disappointed. Bai Yongze said he wanted to swim again and hoped Coach Huang would teach him, while Lan Tian was there to persuade. Coach Huang said he wasn't a sponsor, and this matter needed Lan Tian's father's approval.
Lan Tian reminded him that Lan Xin was the one in charge here. Coach Huang confidently said he could handle Lan Xin, leaving the two men surprised. However, Lan Xin did not agree. Coach Huang accidentally confessed his feelings to Lan Xin. Lan Xin focused all her attention on the confession. At the same time, she worried her father would be angry, so she didn't agree, but she still wanted to help.
So she called her father, begging him to let Bai Yongze return. Her mind was in a whirl; as soon as she spoke, she felt her father would definitely not agree, and she regretfully hung up the phone. The next day, Bai Yongze thought Coach Huang had already convinced Lan Xin, so he came to the swim team training ground, ready to train. Lan Tian did the same.
Lan Tian seemed to have let go of a lot, and the three of them often went out to play together. Because they had agreed on fair competition, no one was allowed to ask Song Chacha out alone, so scenes of the three of them playing together often occurred. Song Chacha didn't pay them much mind, merely playing with the two of them and encouraging them to swim well.
After Chairman Lan received his daughter's inexplicable call earlier, he sent people to inquire about Bai Yongze's recent situation. As a result, the news of Coach Huang's dismissal spread. Although everyone usually poked fun at Coach Huang, upon hearing the coach was leaving, they couldn't help but feel a sting in their noses and their eyes reddened. Bai Yongze also blamed himself and left with Coach Huang. He moved his belongings back to his original small house.
Song Chacha made a meal and came to see him. Unexpectedly, Lan Tian popped out, so the three of them listened to the rain and reminisced in the small house. The two grown men even vied for attention. That evening, the two men walked Song Chacha home together.
Because both were worried Song Chacha might be in danger at night, but also didn't want the other person to be alone with Song Chacha, the three of them walked along the path, chatting and laughing. After seeing Song Chacha off, Lan Tian said that although the engagement failed, it was actually because Song Chacha's heart wasn't with him at all. Coupled with Bai Yongze's kindness, he had now come to terms with it and thus regained their friendship.
After speaking, the two men put their arms around each other's shoulders and walked back, chatting and laughing. Lan Xin was very regretful about Coach Huang's dismissal. Now Coach Huang had packed his luggage and was ready to leave by plane. She gave Coach Huang a farewell party at the bar, having been brewing the courage to confess her feelings to him, but she couldn't find the courage to say it.

Ultimately, Lan Xin still couldn't confess her feelings for him. Coach Huang avoided acquaintances along the way. Lan Xin then chased after him with the handkerchief he had left behind to return it and was caught red-handed by Lan Tian.
Lan Xin, on an impulse, slapped Coach Huang and said he was begging her with a handkerchief. Lan Tian was utterly bewildered, and Coach Huang, having suffered in silence, was even more depressed. Bai Yongze was training in the small house when Coach Huang entered, carrying his luggage.
