> Love Under the Full Moon Recap

Alone at Summer Time late at night, Lei Chuxia is startled by a shadowy figure outside. Watching from a distance, Wang Yixin observes that her fear causes her energy levels to spike, confirming his theory. When someone then climbs in through the window, Chuxia grabs a rolling pin and attacks, only to discover the intruder is a concerned Xu Xiaodong. As an apology, Chuxia makes him a bowl of noodles.

The taste is strikingly similar to his late father's cooking, prompting Xiaodong to share his painful past. He explains that after his mother died, his father often made him these noodles, which he always complained about. During a rebellious phase, Xiaodong pushed his father away, not understanding the pressure he was under. Tragically, his father's company was sabotaged when a competitor stole his product and framed him for plagiarism.

The stress triggered a fatal heart attack, and Xiaodong never got another chance to even complain about his father's cooking. At his lowest point, a kind, strange girl who resembled Chuxia appeared like a ray of sunshine, giving him hope. He vowed then to find the thief and clear his father's name. As rain begins to fall, Xiaodong uses it as an excuse to stay and keep Chuxia company on the shop's couch.

Later, as a storm rages outside, he comforts a frightened Chuxia by taking her hand. Meanwhile, Qin Yue prepares chicken soup and brings it to Wei Xuanhe's office, worried about how hard he's working. On the way, she receives a shocking phone call informing her that someone is moving into the wedding house Xuanhe had prepared for Lei Chuxia ten years ago, which has been vacant ever since. She confronts Xuanhe, asking if he and Chuxia are getting back together.

He coldly dismisses her, stating that his affairs are none of her business. Heartbroken, Qin Yue realizes her serious feelings for him are not reciprocated and leaves the soup behind, feeling foolish. Wandering aimlessly, she is harassed by an aggressive fan, but Xuanhe arrives just in time to rescue her. The incident is captured by onlookers and quickly becomes a top news story. The viral news infuriates Wei Xuanhe's father, who values the family's reputation above all else.

He berates Xuanhe for getting entangled in "women's affairs" instead of fixing the critical problems with his company's "Family First" app. As punishment for shaming the family name, he orders Xuanhe to stand in the family courtyard all night. While standing outside, Xuanhe recalls a memory of Chuxia encouraging him to stay true to himself and not change to please others.

Hoping to uncover the truth about his father's past, Xu Xiaodong takes a job at Yao Yang Tech, joining the core project team. He is horrified to discover that their main task is to steal source code from other companies, a practice his colleagues casually refer to as "reference." The CEO, Zhao Yaoyang, even visits the team to pressure them to work faster, bluntly stating that the only way to win is to "steal faster than others."

Convinced that Zhao Yaoyang is the man who ruined his father, Xiaodong instructs his AI, Turing, to sync and save all his work as evidence of the company's plagiarism. After work, he stops by Summer Time and, seeing Chuxia busy inside, secretly draws a sun on the glass door with a crayon, circling her within it. Back at Summer Time, business is booming.

Yuan Yuan reads aloud from the shop's app, where customers have started a poll about Chuxia's love life. The choices are A, the mysterious gamer Winter; B, her devoted ex-boyfriend CEO; and C, the "unremarkable" but ever-present IT guy, "Dong something." Chuxia publicly dismisses the poll, but later, while baking alone, she reflects that Xiaodong is far from unremarkable and that his constant companionship is actually quite nice. She subconsciously begins piping the letter 'C' onto her cookies with chocolate.

That evening, as they close up, Chuxia gives some of the cookies to Xiaodong. He tries to confess his feelings for her, but his attempts are comically foiled by a series of loud interruptions from the street. The next day, Wang Yixin visits the shop under the guise of being a customer. He secretly places a device under the cash register designed to drain Chuxia's energy. Soon after, Chuxia feels dizzy and suddenly collapses.

A frantic Xu Xiaodong rushes her to Professor Chen Mo's laboratory. Professor Chen quickly determines that Chuxia's collapse was caused by a rapid loss of energy and discovers that her protective bracelet has been modified to emit her energy rather than contain it. He realizes the culprit must be an insider from their lab. Just then, Wang Yixin arrives, and Chen uses a scanner to detect the receiving device on him, exposing him as the saboteur.

Professor Chen confronts Wang Yixin, who shows no remorse. He callously argues that his actions are for the advancement of science and humanity, dismissing Chuxia as not even being a real person. Disgusted by his student's lack of a moral compass and refusal to apologize, Professor Chen expels him from the lab permanently. When Chuxia and Xiaodong return to Summer Time, they find Yuan Yuan interrogating Jin Xiaorui, who has clothespins clipped to his face. He had refused to tell her anything about Chuxia's condition all afternoon, determined to keep her secret safe until he had her permission to speak.
