On the phone, Wei Xuanhe learns from an unsuspecting Lei Chuxia that she is at a psychology clinic for a session that might help restore her memory. Panicked that she will remember the truth, he immediately rushes out to find her, ignoring Qin Yue's attempts to stop him. After he leaves, a distraught Qin Yue decides to seek out Wang Yixin herself. Wei Xuanhe finds Lei Chuxia at the Tian Yu Psychology Centre.

She directly confronts him about inconsistencies in his stories, specifically asking what he was looking for in her house on the night she disappeared ten years ago. He gives a vague and evasive answer about business documents. Sensing something is amiss, Dr. Tian Yu suggests she and Chuxia continue their session alone, but Chuxia insists Xuanhe stay, hoping he can verify the memories she is about to recall.

During the session, Chuxia describes a memory of running on a mountain path and seeing a signpost with a distinctive cloud-like emblem. To regain her trust and lower her guard, Xuanhe identifies the emblem as the Tongcheng University badge. He suggests the mountain she saw is the one behind their old university, a place they used to frequent. He offers to take her there to jog her memory, and she agrees.

Meanwhile, Xu Xiaodong finally gets his phone back from the security check. His AI, Turing, informs him that the source code from Yao Yang Tech is a near-perfect match to the code developed by his late father. Turing also reveals a critical piece of information: when Xiaodong cracked the code, the security alert was sent to two locations—Yao Yang Tech and Wei Xuanhe's company, Cyber Tech.

Xiaodong now knows that Zhao Yaoyang was behind his father's ruin and strongly suspects Xuanhe was also involved. Just then, he sees a message from Chuxia. Unable to reach her by phone, he calls Dr. Tian, who tells him Chuxia has gone to the back mountain of Tongcheng University with Xuanhe. Fearing for her safety, Xiaodong rushes to find her. At the back mountain, the familiar surroundings trigger Chuxia's memories.

In a flood of terrifying flashbacks, she finally remembers the truth: Wei Xuanhe was the one chasing her, causing her to fall from the cliff ten years ago. As she recoils from him in horror, the full moon's power activates, and she vanishes in a flash of light just as a desperate Xu Xiaodong arrives on the scene. Lei Chuxia awakens in her childhood bedroom, ten years in the past, on the very night of her fall.

She is overjoyed to find her parents alive and well. Her happiness is short-lived, however, as Wei Xuanhe soon arrives for dinner. Now aware of his betrayal, Chuxia is cold and distant. He pulls her into her room, speaks cryptically about her ruining their future, and frantically searches for an unknown document. After receiving a phone call, he leaves abruptly.

Recalling that she mysteriously left home between 7:30 and 8:00 PM that night, Chuxia resolves to stay inside no matter what, determined to prevent the tragedy from happening again. Back in the present, Xu Xiaodong is frantic. He, Yuan Yuan, and Jin Xiaorui search for Chuxia through the night. Yuan Yuan walks until her feet are raw, terrified that Chuxia has amnesia again and is all alone.

After an exhaustive and fruitless search, Jin Xiaorui persuades the distraught Xiaodong and injured Yuan Yuan to go home and rest. At home, a devastated Xiaodong recalls his father once telling him that loving someone grants you a magical strength. The memory calms his racing heart, and with renewed composure, he instructs Turing to begin a new, systematic search based on all the locations important to Chuxia.

Believing Lei Chuxia is gone for good, a relieved Wei Xuanhe returns to his apartment building. He finds Qin Yue waiting for him with a homemade meal. Touched by her persistence, he listens as she confesses her love for him once more. With Chuxia no longer an obstacle, Xuanhe finally reciprocates, taking her hand as they head home together.
