Although Qian Fei privately questions why they are overlooking Shanlifang's falsified financial statements, she reluctantly agrees to remain silent. Li Yifei and his team from Zhizhong arrive shortly after. The group is warmly received by Shanlifang's representative, Mr. Wu, who happily shows them around their newly allocated, independent office space. The luxurious setup features private offices, a conference room, and a fully stocked pantry.
Mr. Wu assures them that Shanlifang will spare no expense to accommodate their needs for the upcoming CSRC review meeting, characterizing the joint venture as a crucial battle for all three parties.
