He explained that the true significance of their past relationship was learning to cherish his present partner, Xu Qingyou. Xu Wei revealed that Xu Qingyou's previous breakup with Fan Yunxi was due to Fan Yunxi's infidelity. Enraged by this revelation, Xu Qingyou's father immediately confronted Fan Yunxi. He returned a steel pen that Fan Yunxi had gifted him with his first salary, symbolizing the definitive end of their master-student relationship.
