Teng She understood the urgency of the matter and went down to deliver the message, feeling deeply grateful for Qinglong's actions.

Xuanji and Wu Zhiqi worked together according to the plan to activate the Crystal Lamp. Just as they succeeded, Sifeng snatched the Crystal Lamp. Everyone saw the Heavenly Monarch kneel, only Xuanji remembered the intertwined hatred between the God of War and King Bailin. Xuanji questioned King Bailin why he deceived her. King Bailin, however, spoke eloquently and pushed all the blame onto Xuanji.

But all of this was just King Bailin's method to help Xuanji 'transcend'; he had never truly cared for Xuanji, and he even deceived Xuanji into killing Sifeng, causing Xuanji constant guilt. Xuanji refused to admit fault. King Bailin activated the Celestial Meteor Formation to bury Xuanji and the Crystal Lamp underground forever. The disaster of destruction would affect Shaoyang Mountain. The people of Shaoyang pleaded desperately. Xuanji, with her own strength, fought against King Bailin.

Xuanji had originally planned to reseal the Crystal Lamp after saving Sifeng. As the God of War, Xuanji thought she could recapture the Star of Mosha, but Xuanji never expected that she herself was the Star of Mosha. King Bailin would never allow the Crystal Lamp to be opened. He wanted to sacrifice the entire Shaoyang Mountain to completely eliminate the Star of Mosha. Zi Hu, Ting Nu, and Brother Liu also realized that the great formation had been activated.

Apart from worrying and waiting where they were, there was nothing else they could do. King Bailin, as a high and mighty divine lord, regarded human lives as worthless. Xuanji used the power of the God of War to protect Shaoyang's safety and resist King Bailin. The formation's power was extraordinary.

Xuanji recalled the teachings and brotherhood she experienced in this life as Hao Chen; today, the past affection was wiped away, and from now on, they were enemies, ready to fight to the end. King Bailin used the Crystal Lamp as a sacrifice, causing Xuanji's mind and spirit to be damaged. Sifeng ran out of the secret realm to bear it for Xuanji, using the power of Juntian Cehai to break King Bailin's great formation.

The Crystal Lamp also fell into Wu Zhiqi's hands. Sifeng's body could no longer withstand the power of Juntian Cehai. Xuanji was anxious to open the Crystal Lamp, but Sifeng refused. Yuan Lang appeared in his true form and revealed the secret of the Star of Mosha and the God of War. Xuanji realized that she was both the Star of Mosha and the God of War.

Although she was reluctant to admit it, remembering how Sifeng pretended to be the reincarnation of the Star of Mosha to protect someone important, she already admitted in her heart that she was the Star of Mosha. Yuan Lang, with his glib tongue, continued to coax Xuanji into opening the Crystal Lamp.

He said that it was King Bailin who killed the Star of Mosha back then, took out his primordial spirit and sealed it in the Crystal Lamp, and then used the body and a corner of the Crystal Lamp to create the God of War. Upon hearing this, King Bailin admitted it.

Xuanji finally understood that Hao Chen's initial obstruction of her retrieving her six senses and ultimately creating the God of War were all meant to turn her into a puppet. King Bailin, however, always believed that only a heartless Xuanji could maintain stability in the three realms. He blamed Xuanji for not having purified her negative energy even after nine lifetimes and for developing a mortal heart for Sifeng, wanting to fall into the demon path.

King Bailin wanted to kill Sifeng first. To protect Sifeng, Xuanji forcibly opened the Crystal Lamp. She instructed Sifeng not to forget to bring her back even if she turned into Demon Maleficent. Xuanji transformed into Demon Maleficent, remembering King Bailin's betrayal and the past of killing her and taking her primordial spirit. The process was agonizing, but Demon Maleficent still replaced Xuanji and appeared in the three realms, even repelling King Bailin.

Sifeng could not accept Xuanji turning into Demon Maleficent, but Demon Maleficent had only come for revenge. She even returned the hairpin of betrothal between Xuanji and Sifeng to Sifeng. Ignoring everyone's shouts, she turned and left.
