> Justice In the Dark Recap
Luo Weizhao and the others found the cabin and saw someone coming out. They recognized him as the suspect nicknamed "One-Eye. " He planned to take immediate action to rescue Du Guosheng. Du Jia proposed to join in—he wanted to personally catch Du Guosheng and clear his deceased brother’s name. One-Eye delivered food to Du Guosheng and insulted him as a stray dog. Pei Su tracked him using a drone, guiding Luo Weizhao.
Du Jia cut off the power; Du Guosheng burst into laughter, realizing someone was coming. Guided by Pei Su, Luo Weizhao took out the perimeter guards one by one but was ambushed by One-Eye. Pei Su, unable to reach Luo Weizhao, panicked and crashed the drone. He tried to relaunch the drone when suddenly someone approached the camera and picked it up. Pei Su was relieved to see Luo Weizhao still alive.
Luo Weizhao obtained the key and told Pei Su to wait for backup while he entered the cabin alone and captured Du Guosheng. Pei Su noticed a lookout near the cabin and quickly informed Luo Weizhao. The lookout spotted the drone and ordered someone to detonate the bomb. Taking advantage of Luo Weizhao's moment of inattention, Du Guosheng broke free and knocked him down, but fortunately Du Jia arrived just in time to subdue him.
Pei Su chased the lookout and ran him over as he tried to escape, discovering that he had already activated a time bomb. After hearing this, Luo Weizhao insisted on going back to defuse the bomb and told Du Jia to take Du Guosheng away, believing he would not betray their trust. On the way out, Du Jia was intercepted by One-Eye and his men.
He quickly handcuffed Du Guosheng and used all his strength to fight back until he was exhausted. He revealed the presence of the bomb, but One-Eye forced his men to attack. Just as Du Guosheng was about to be silenced, Du Jia summoned his last strength to stop them. One-Eye took advantage of the chaos to flee but was caught by the backup team.
At that moment, Prosecutor Luo arrived with reinforcements and escorted Du Jia and the others out of the base. Du Jia shouted to save Luo Weizhao, saying there was a bomb inside. The situation was tense—Tao Zhi arrived at the scene but was stopped by the police outside the base. Luo Weizhao located the bomb and contacted a friend for defusal instructions. At the last second of the countdown, he cut the red wire, and the timer suddenly stopped.
Pei Su drove into the base and sighed in relief upon seeing Luo Weizhao standing safely. However, the timer suddenly restarted, and the two had no time to speak—they jumped in the car and sped away as the base exploded. After the explosion ended, those outside the base finally recovered their senses.
Tao Zhi thought something had happened to Luo Weizhao and Pei Su, but unexpectedly, the two emerged from the smoke in a car, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Du Guosheng would face legal judgment, and Du Jia hoped he had made the right choice. Pei Su returned to the investigation team, sensing that Minister Du harbored hostility toward him. Luo Weizhao and Xiao Qiao interrogated Du Guosheng.
Du Guosheng admitted to killing Feng Bin but claimed he didn’t know him personally—it was all orchestrated by the mastermind. He didn’t know who the mastermind was, only their code number. They followed client instructions and believed people like him were just making money for the clients. Luo Weizhao brought up the Huo Xiao case and asked if he was involved. Du Guosheng admitted to framing Huo Xiao.
Watching from the surveillance room, Xiao Hanyang finally saw the truth vindicating Huo Xiao. He couldn’t hold back and ran out of the room to retrieve Huo Xiao’s agent badge. Pei Su noticed Minister Du’s strange expression and suspected something was off.
