On a vast spaceship in the boundless universe, the Duo Xing alien Abu Chacha was escorted by two guards to Duo Xing Captain Duo Miaomiao of the Star River, the highest-level patrol ship. Duo Miaomiao accused Abu Chacha of illegally trading "Earth primates," citing evidence from her warehouse containing various types of "Earth primates" from across different eras.

Abu Chacha vehemently denied the charges, arguing that "Earth primates" were known for their "low intelligence" and "gentle temperament," and that trading them was not illegal, questioning if Duo Miaomiao was "old-fashioned." Duo Miaomiao countered by adding charges of "illegal space-time jumps" and "disrupting species balance," along with smuggling. Faced with a potential sentence of hundreds of years in the Sagittarius interstellar prison, Abu Chacha desperately begged for mercy, claiming she was "legally blind" who hadn't read many laws.

Unmoved, Duo Miaomiao ordered his guards to imprison her. As Captain Duo Miaomiao commanded the Star River to initiate a space jump towards the Sagittarius interstellar prison, the ship was suddenly ambushed and surrounded by enemy forces. The Star River sustained severe damage. From a shadowy corner, a mysterious, evil figure cloaked in black smoke appeared, observing the destruction with a chilling remark, "Finally arrived." On Earth, in the year 666 of the Tang Dynasty, incessant warfare raged.

Prince Yaoluoguli of Beidi led a formidable army of 100,000 to invade Tongguan, resulting in a prolonged stalemate. Amidst this crisis, military funds were secretly embezzled, leading to a severe shortage of grain and supplies for the Tang army. In this dire situation, Tang Qingfeng, the eldest son of the Zhenyuan General, embarked on a perilous solo mission. He confronted Prince Yaoluoguli, presenting the head of the Prince's second uncle.

Tang Qingfeng revealed that the second uncle had secretly planned to withdraw his forces and return to Beidi to usurp the throne, implying that he had eliminated this threat for Yaoluoguli. He then pressured the Prince to retreat. Although Yaoluoguli complied, he harbored deep resentment towards Tang Qingfeng, vowing to remember his name. Tang Qingfeng then turned his attention to investigating the corruption within the military.

While interrogating a defiant official, the interrogation was abruptly interrupted when a massive fireball struck, causing a loud explosion. The official was gone in the blast. Tang Qingfeng and his men investigated the meteorite crater, where the mysterious figure enveloped in black smoke reappeared and attacked them. The figure taunted Tang Qingfeng, questioning how a mere "Earthling" could harm him.

During their fierce battle, Tang Qingfeng’s gouyu necklace suddenly emitted a brilliant light, injuring the mysterious figure and forcing him to flee. Witnessing these strange "natural visions and rampant monsters," Tang Qingfeng grew deeply concerned for his sister, Tang Qingye, and immediately set off to return home. Meanwhile, at the Tang family ancestral home, Tang Qingye was delighted, clutching a jade pendant given to her by her beloved, Prince Li Yi.

Li Yi had informed his father, the Emperor, of his intention to marry her, promising that a carriage would fetch her from the palace through Danyang Gate the next day. However, a maid, a confidante of Mrs. Tang (Tang Qingfeng and Tang Qingyun's mother), had witnessed Li Yi's secret meeting with Tang Qingye and reported that Li Yi had pledged his love and promised to make Tang Qingye Princess Jing.

Furious that Tang Qingye, much like her own mother, Mrs. Wang, might jeopardize Tang Qingyun’s and her own future, Mrs. Tang harbored ill will towards Tang Qingye. Soon after, an imperial decree arrived, bestowing the title of Princess Jing upon Tang Qingyun, Tang Qingfeng's elder sister, and ordering her marriage to Prince Li Yi.

Though Li Yi wished to explain himself to Tang Qingye, his master intervened, reminding him of his grand ambitions and his own mother's tragic fate, compelling him to abandon the idea. Heartbroken by Li Yi’s betrayal, Tang Qingye fell gravely ill. Her maid, Xianer, implored her to take medicine for the sake of her late mother and Prince Li Yi. However, after consuming the medicine, Tang Qingye tragically vomited blood and her condition worsened.

Xianer urgently arranged for Tang Qingye to be taken by carriage to a doctor, accompanied by a coachman, Zhao Ba Shi. En route, their carriage suddenly stopped. Xianer went to investigate and discovered Zhao Ba Shi had vanished, and assassins were approaching. Recognizing the imminent danger, Xianer bravely smashed the horse, causing the carriage to overturn. Despite her weakened state, Tang Qingye attempted to flee, but the assassins pursued her.

Confronting them, she accused them of being "despicable and shameless scoundrels" and vowed that her elder brother would avenge her. The assassins then fatally stabbed her. Just as this tragic scene unfolded, Tang Qingfeng arrived, having rushed back from Tongguan. Upon seeing Abu Chacha over his dying sister, he mistakenly believed Abu Chacha was the murderer.

Abu Chacha, having crash-landed on Earth after escaping the destroyed Star River, found herself disoriented and her alien body struggling to cope with the planet's high oxygen concentration. She desperately needed to find an "Earth life form to fuse with" to survive. Initially considering fusing with a tree, she then stumbled upon the scene of Tang Qingye's assassination. Despite finding her own act of compassion strange, Abu Chacha intervened, driving away the assassins.

Tang Qingye was already critically wounded, so Abu Chacha attempted to use her dwindling alien energy to heal her, hoping to preserve the "female ape" to sell to the governor for a new spaceship. At that moment, Tang Qingfeng arrived. Witnessing Abu Chacha seemingly attacking his sister, he immediately drew his sword and struck her. Abu Chacha cursed the "damn Earth primates."

After being struck again by Tang Qingfeng, her severely injured body dissipated into light particles and, as her only means of survival, she fused with Tang Qingye's lifeless form. Overcome with grief, Tang Qingfeng cradled his sister's body, lamenting his delayed arrival. Tang Qingfeng carried Tang Qingye's body back to the Tang Mansion, deeply troubled by the day's strange events and vowing to uncover the truth behind his sister's death and the monster he encountered at Tongguan.

Unbeknownst to him, Abu Chacha, now fused with Tang Qingye's deceased body, reanimated it. The household staff, witnessing Tang Qingye's sudden movement, panicked and fled, screaming that the "Second Miss is alive" and that the mansion was "haunted." Tang Qingfeng, hearing the commotion, rushed out and found his sister behaving erratically, struggling to walk upright, and speaking an incomprehensible alien language.

Abu Chacha, trapped inside Tang Qingye's body, found the human form heavy and cumbersome, lamenting that she could no longer "drift and fly" as before. Tang Qingfeng, deeply bewildered by this uncanny resemblance and strange behavior, confronted her, demanding to know who she was and why she was impersonating his deceased sister. He brought her back into the mansion, deciding to keep her confined until he could uncover the full truth.

As Abu Chacha struggled to control her new body and desperately wished to "re-engineer it," a small cat suddenly appeared. This cat, revealed to be Duo Miaomiao, telepathically communicated with her, commenting on her clumsy attempts to walk upright and offering guidance for "the peace of the universe."
