Time went back to 2018 again. Zhao Qiaoyi went shopping with Zhao Guanchao. As soon as Zhao Qiaoyi returned home, she started complaining to her husband Yan Mo about how Zhao Guanchao bullied her. Yan Mo doted on his wife immensely. To make Zhao Qiaoyi happy, he arranged to play games with Zhao Guanchao and deliberately crushed Zhao Guanchao in the game to vent Zhao Qiaoyi's frustration. Zhao Qiaoyi was very satisfied with this.
The two then affectionately began to reminisce. The memory flashed back to their school days in 2006. At the beginning of the new school year, students chose seats in order of their academic performance. Zhao Qiaoyi, being a complete academic underachiever, could only choose her seat last. By the time it was her turn, there were only a few seats left. In the end, she had no other choice but to share a desk with Yan Mo.
Zhao Qiaoyi was wrongly accused of cheating on an exam. She couldn't explain herself. Yan Mo was always taciturn. Zhao Qiaoyi always initiated conversations with Yan Mo, but Yan Mo remained calm and silent, ignoring her. Zhao Qiaoyi and Hao Wuyi unexpectedly saw Fei Dachuan extorting Yan Mo. The two returned to the classroom, and Zhao Qiaoyi suddenly discovered that Yan Mo's report had been soaked by the cola she bought, and she was immediately at a loss.
Afterwards, Zhao Qiaoyi thought about asking her brother Zhao Guanchao to help her redo a lab report. Zhao Guanchao, however, claimed he was busy and ignored her. Zhao Qiaoyi had no choice but to complete the physics lab report by herself, but facing the experiment procedure, she was at her wit's end alone. Just then, Yan Mo appeared. Zhao Qiaoyi swallowed her pride and asked Yan Mo for help. Finally, the two collaborated to complete the experiment procedure.
The lab report was ultimately completed by Zhao Qiaoyi independently at home. After they finished the experiment, Fei Dachuan appeared again. Zhao Qiaoyi thought Fei Dachuan was looking for trouble with Yan Mo, so Zhao Qiaoyi suggested they run away together. However, Yan Mo did not run away but left with Fei Dachuan. It turned out that Fei Dachuan and Yan Mo were relatives; in terms of seniority, Fei Dachuan was Yan Mo's uncle.
Early the next morning, Zhao Qiaoyi was very worried about Yan Mo and cautiously asked if Fei Dachuan had caused him any trouble last night, but Yan Mo did not respond to her. The classmates in the class were discussing Zhao Qiaoyi completing the lab report independently. Everyone thought Zhao Qiaoyi's report must have been copied. Facing the classmates' doubts, Zhao Qiaoyi did not refute them, pretending not to care and just smiling it off.
