Ka Suo ventured alone into the Fire Tribe territory, where he was met by Yan Da. After a fierce battle, Ka Suo emerged victorious and captured Yan Da, demanding to know his brother Ying Kong Shi's whereabouts. Under duress, Yan Da agreed to lead Ka Suo to Ying Kong Shi, but it was a trap. Yan Da had used an illusion to create a false Ying Kong Shi, and Ka Suo was ensnared in her magical barrier.
Yan Da mockingly told him, "Your brother, Ying Kongshi, isn't here at all. Let's see how you can escape from this cage." She then ordered her guards to watch him closely. Just as Yan Da reveled in her triumph, Li Luo appeared, holding an arrow to Yan Da's neck. Li Luo calmly informed Yan Da, "A mere human like me learned how to kill gods." She pointed out Yan Da's vital spot, stating, "Your Fire Tribe's energy lies. . .
here. Right? I heard as long as you destroy a god's energy, they'll immediately turn to dust, with not even a speck of remains. I really want to try it and see." When Yan Da called for her guards, Li Luo revealed that Ka Suo had already dispatched some of them, and she had taken care of the rest. With no one to help her, Yan Da was forced to release Ka Suo, who was then retrieved by Li Luo.
Yan Da, furious, challenged them to escape all three realms and ordered her forces to search for them. As Ka Suo and Li Luo fled, Yan Da’s search led her back to the river, where she found a young man. The real Ying Kong Shi had inexplicably transformed into an adult man after a surge of divine power and was now lost to Yan Da.
She questioned the young man about a small boy, but he remained silent, prompting her to order his capture. Yan Da brought the mysterious young man back to her camp. He claimed his name was Yun Fei, concocting a story about being attacked by a boy while bathing, knocked out, and then waking up in Yan Da's custody. Yan Da refused to let him go, declaring, "You didn't tell me anything, so now you must be my slave."
Secretly, Yun Fei, who was in fact Ying Kong Shi, resolved to maintain his disguise until he could find his brother. Ka Suo, burdened with sorrow and missing his brother, played a melancholic tune on his flute. Li Luo came to him, reflecting on his previous words. She acknowledged, "I know I'm not fit to be your realm guardian, since I'm so disobedient." Ka Suo agreed, stating, "Then don't be my realm guardian. From today onward, you are free."
Li Luo then asserted, "In the future, I will go wherever I want." She continued, "then I'm not the prince's realm guardian. I'm Ka Suo's friend. Right now, I want to be by my friend's side." She offered him some mortal realm alcohol, and for the first time in a while, Ka Suo smiled. They then discussed their shared purpose in the mortal realm.
Ka Suo explained, "Shi and I came to the mortal realm to find the Six-Leaf Ice Crystal from each tribe." Li Luo speculated that Ying Kong Shi might also be searching for it, suggesting, "Right now the closest to us is the Healer Tribe. If we go there right now, we might bump into Prince Shi, who is also looking for the ice crystal."
Meanwhile, Ying Kong Shi, still in the guise of Yun Fei, realized he had lost the flute Ka Suo had given him, making it impossible to contact his brother. Yan Da summoned Yun Fei to deliver her dinner. Yun Fei entered her tent while she was bathing, feeling shy and avoiding her gaze. Yan Da asked him if he had ever seen a woman as beautiful as her.
Yun Fei truthfully replied that he had, stating that his mother was more beautiful. Yan Da, initially angered and vowing to kill this rival, quickly rationalized that his mortal mother must be old and dead. Yun Fei retorted, feeling insulted. Before Yan Da could react further, a messenger arrived with urgent news from the Fire King.
He was furious about the realm guardian's interference and Ying Kong Shi's escape, ordering Yan Da to retrieve the Ice Crystal from the Healer Tribe before the Ice Tribe could. Ka Suo and Li Luo arrived at the Healer Tribe's domain, a place where all people, or future healers, were meticulously organized into divisions for healing both humans and gods. Yan Da had already arrived, demanding a Six-Leaf Ice Crystal from the Tribe Chief on behalf of the Fire King.
The Chief explained that the Ice Crystal had been lost for thousands of years and was now merely a legend. Unconvinced, Yan Da decided to remain in the Healer Tribe, ostensibly to witness the Tribe Chief's son's wedding and foster friendship, but in reality, to find an opportunity to cause chaos and uncover the crystal. As the bride-to-be arrived in the city for her pre-wedding night stay, an explosion occurred.
Her sister, Yue Shen, intervened to save her, showcasing her powerful abilities. Ka Suo observed Yue Shen's attire and recognized her as a Li Healer. He explained to Li Luo that Li Healers, despite being part of the Healer Tribe, are born with such strong deathly auras that they cannot heal; instead, they become masters of martial arts and poisons. Ka Suo empathized with Yue Shen’s difficult fate, which forced her to maintain distance from others.
The Tribe Chief’s son, Huang Tuo, spent his days immersed in the alchemy room, passionately discussing herbs and remedies with other healers. The Chief tried to persuade Huang Tuo to marry into the wealthy Yue family to secure the clan's status. Huang Tuo refused, admitting he had a sweetheart. Enraged, the Chief had Huang Tuo confined to his room, determined to force the marriage the following day.
Meanwhile, the Fire King informed Yan Da of his strategic insight: the Healer Tribe's relative weakness meant they maintained peace through marriage. Yan Da eagerly agreed, confident she could disrupt the wedding to create chaos and uncover the Ice Crystal. She then summoned Yun Fei, compelling him to drink a cup of wine, which subtly put his mind under her control. Later, Huang Tuo feigned unconsciousness, ambushing the attendant who brought him food. He then escaped his room.
The Tribe Chief, upon discovering his son's flight, immediately sealed all exits from the Healer Tribe and ordered a city-wide search for Huang Tuo before the wedding. Back at their lodging, Li Luo's unicorn, Turnip, led them to the vicinity of the Herb Temple, indicating Ying Kong Shi was nearby. However, no guest named Ying Kong Shi was registered. They realized he might be a prisoner and needed a way to infiltrate the Herb Temple.
Just then, Huang Tuo burst into Ka Suo's room, seeking refuge from the approaching Healer Tribe guards. He pleaded with Ka Suo to hide him, desperately needing to find his beloved. Li Luo quickly formulated a plan, hiding Huang Tuo under the bed, then pulling Ka Suo onto the bed and hastily beginning to undress him, intending to pose as a couple. The guards, however, noticed they were still wearing their shoes, exposing their ruse.
Huang Tuo emerged from under the bed and offered to surrender if Ka Suo and Li Luo were spared. As the guards relaxed, Huang Tuo swiftly attacked them, allowing himself, Ka Suo, and Li Luo to escape. Huang Tuo offered to help Ka Suo and Li Luo get into the Herb Temple if they helped him get out of the city, which Ka Suo accepted as their only option. Elsewhere, Yue Shen's sister was distraught over the runaway groom.
Yue Shen, wanting to comfort her, vowed to find the "heartbreaker." Shortly after, Yun Fei, disguised as a servant, arrived with a bowl of tranquilizing soup, purportedly from the Tribe Chief for Miss Yue. Miss Yue, heartbroken, questioned if it would ease her pain but ultimately decided not to drink it.
