Ye Shilan and Lu Zhaoxi went to play tennis together. After several matches, Ye Shilan and Lu Zhaoxi were tied. From the beginning, Ye Shilan won, but later, due to lack of stamina, she was defeated. Lu Zhaoxi thought Ye Shilan was too competitive, but Ye Shilan said that when she saw a chance to win, she wanted to win the match.

Just then, Lu Zhaoxi's parents returned.
Thinking they had stumbled upon an awkward situation, they quickly tried to slip away. Fortunately, Lu Zhaoxi and Ye Shilan spotted them, which resolved the misunderstanding and embarrassment. That evening, Ye Shilan personally cooked at Lu Zhaoxi's house. Lu Zhaoxi's parents praised her cooking endlessly. Lu Zhengshan suddenly asked about Ye Shilan's parents. Ye Shilan paused briefly, then truthfully explained her situation.
In fact, she had also begun to learn to let go and was no longer afraid of people asking about her father. Ye Shilan felt unhappy about it, thinking it was somewhat like "the fox borrowing the tiger's might," but she still agreed, not wanting to cause trouble for Lu Zhaoxi.
