Su Su, however, is portrayed as a delicate and cautious individual in the relationship, constantly accommodating Pei Shangxuan while meticulously monitoring him, fearing he might slip away. She perceives Li Li as a long-standing rival, her intuition telling her that Li Li has always held a place in Pei Shangxuan's heart. At a farewell dinner hosted at Li Jun's home, which Su Su insisted on attending despite Pei Shangxuan's reluctance, the friends discuss their futures.
Daniel announces he has signed with an entertainment company, anticipating a glamorous celebrity life due to his talents in singing and speaking, while others, including Pei Shangxuan who is now a worker, are still striving in their respective careers, not yet at the stage of marriage.
