When You You and her staff arrived at the clothes car, they were surprised to find Chi Yu pinning Wen Suxi against the wall. The staff quickly apologized, stating they didn't realize anyone was inside. You You commented to Wen Suxi that it wasn't the appropriate place for such an encounter. Wen Suxi, blushing with embarrassment, quickly denied their assumptions before running off.

Later that evening, at home, Wen Suxi recalled Chi Yu's description of his beloved: "Her eyes are bigger than yours," he had said, and "Her mouth is smaller than yours. Both of you are bad-tempered." Looking in the mirror, Wen Suxi tried to mimic these features, even adding "Eyebrows longer than mine," finding the entire description quite strange and wondering if such a person could even exist.

She then dismissed it as a mere "scheme" and decided her best strategy would be to adopt a philosophy of "doing nothing." Hua Yecheng noticed Chi Yu's deep concern for Wen Suxi and questioned whether he was truly helping Wen Suxi or if his actions were still tied to Ji Wan. Chi Yu saw no distinction between the two.

Hua Yecheng then advised Chi Yu that continuing down this path would harm both him and Wen Suxi, as Wen Suxi was destined to forget everything eventually. After filming a confession scene by the railway, the rushes were officially completed, marking the end of production. Wen Suxi arranged a wrap party for the entire crew, but to her surprise, You You informed her that Duola and Chi Yu would not be attending.

It was revealed that Chi Yu had previously promised Duola he would take her to an amusement park that evening. Before leaving, Chi Yu reminded Wen Suxi to return home early. Annoyed, Wen Suxi defiantly declared she might stay out all night, to which Chi Yu just smiled sweetly. She sarcastically told him he didn't need to explain anything, as she wasn't his mother.

At the wrap party, both Hu Dongkai and Wen Suxi were visibly displeased after seeing a social media post from Duola. Hu Dongkai complained about Duola showing off her new car and their decision to skip the crew gathering for a private outing, which he found "scheming and tricky." Wen Suxi, already annoyed, drank continuously with the crew, quickly becoming intoxicated. In her drunken state, she started causing a scene.

She questioned if others saw her as narcissistic, arrogant, domineering, naive, or inexplicable. She then loudly declared Hu Dongkai was the biggest star in the group, not Duola. She tearfully thanked Lin Haoshu, affectionately calling him her "big tree" for his immense help. She then denounced Chi Yu and Duola as "sanctimonious hypocrites," proposing a toast to her "real buddies." Seeing her escalating behavior, You You immediately intervened to restrain Wen Suxi and stop her from drinking more.

Meanwhile, Duola and Chi Yu were enjoying themselves at the amusement park. Duola had struggled with driving her new car there, admitting it was her first time going out alone for fun since her debut. She mused about the trade-off between freedom and fame, while Chi Yu emphasized the importance of time. Duola playfully asked if Chi Yu had conflicts with Wen Suxi, noting Wen Suxi must be furious.

Chi Yu told Duola she would need to rely on herself going forward, and Duola sarcastically thanked him for finally "getting rid of her." Chi Yu then simply told her to "take care of herself." At the park, Duola took off her mask, while Chi Yu refused to wear one, stating only "despicable people cover their faces." She then excitedly pulled him by the hand, running happily from place to place.

While buying items, Duola tried to snap a picture of Chi Yu smiling, but he stopped smiling just as she clicked, lamenting her missed shot. Chi Yu told her some things were accidental, like their meeting, but Duola insisted their encounter was fate. Chi Yu then launched into a lengthy philosophical explanation about destiny and causality, quoting a Buddhist chain of causality ("Meeting is accidental, separation is inevitable. Origins and endings of karma, unchanging with karma. . ." ).

Duola found it incomprehensible, playfully asking if he was a monk. Spotting a Ferris wheel in the distance, Duola excitedly pulled Chi Yu towards it, almost colliding with a passing mascot. Chi Yu swiftly pulled her into his arms to prevent an accident. On the Ferris wheel, Duola, recalling their discussion about regrets (unsaid words, undone deeds), bravely confessed her feelings, expressing a desire for them to be a couple beyond the film.

Chi Yu, however, did not reciprocate, quietly rejecting her advances. The drunken Wen Suxi declared she was going to find Chi Yu and Duola. While trying to leave, she stumbled upon Tang Mao's assistant, whom she confused for "Little Lid," demanding to know why he tripped her and asking about his "bottle." The assistant had come to congratulate her on the wrap and deliver a flower basket from Tang Mao.

Upon seeing Wen Suxi's intoxicated state, the assistant immediately called Tang Mao. Moments later, Tang Mao arrived and caught Wen Suxi as she was about to fall. He offered to take her home, and You You, relieved, entrusted Wen Suxi to him. Hua Yecheng witnessed Tang Mao taking Wen Suxi, growing furious when You You confirmed it. He immediately alerted Chi Yu. Upon receiving the news, Chi Yu rushed away, leaving Duola to ride the Ferris wheel alone.

Before leaving, he told Duola that she would forget him, implying his departure would result in erased memories, and asked if she still wanted to ride the Ferris wheel alone. Hu Dongkai, having decided to find Duola, arrived at the amusement park. He found her crying alone in her car. To cheer her up, he put on a mascot costume and danced for her, successfully making her laugh.

On the way to Wen Suxi's home, the still intoxicated Wen Suxi mistook Tang Mao for Chi Yu, clinging to his arm and speaking affectionately. She thanked him for always being there for her and then told him that if he liked her, he needed to tell her directly and stop making "misleading behaviors" that left her "puzzled." Tang Mao was confused by her words until Wen Suxi suddenly called out Chi Yu's name, asking, "got it, Chi Yu?"

Tang Mao instantly realized the truth. Enraged, Tang Mao instructed his driver to take them to the nearest hotel, intending to take advantage of Wen Suxi. In the hotel room, Wen Suxi, still dazed, struggled and demanded to know what he was doing, accusing him of using her as a replacement while pretending to love her. Tang Mao, furious, stated he would "prove it now."

Wen Suxi fought desperately, screaming for him to let go, but Tang Mao struck her, rendering her unconscious. Just as Tang Mao was about to succeed, Chi Yu suddenly appeared, stopping him. Seeing Wen Suxi lying unconscious on the bed, Chi Yu, filled with fury, attacked Tang Mao. He questioned Tang Mao about his motives for approaching Wen Suxi and harming her.

Tang Mao defiantly stated that Chi Yu was responsible for his current state and vowed that if he couldn't have Wen Suxi, no one else would. Chi Yu intended to kill Tang Mao, but Hua Yecheng suddenly appeared, knocking Tang Mao unconscious. Hua Yecheng sternly warned Chi Yu against killing him, explaining that Tang Mao had his own destiny and should not die by Chi Yu's hand.

He further reminded Chi Yu that he was an escaped criminal, and harming another life would have severe consequences, adding that Chi Yu's current rage stemming from his feelings for Wen Suxi had made him lose his reason. Chi Yu vehemently disagreed, asserting that Wen Suxi would remain unsafe as long as Tang Mao was alive and that he was willing to bear all consequences, questioning why Hua Yecheng was protecting such a "crafty and fawning" villain.

Hua Yecheng patiently explained that Wen Suxi's predestined challenges wouldn't disappear by eliminating Tang Mao, as another adversary would simply emerge, reminding Chi Yu, as a Destiny Master, he should understand this fundamental law. Chi Yu, still unwilling to yield, prepared to fight Hua Yecheng.

Hua Yecheng then reminded Chi Yu that his Pen of Constellation could only be used once a day and questioned if he wished to waste that precious opportunity fighting him, further bringing up Ji Wan's death as a consequence of Chi Yu's past unauthorized energy transfers. Chi Yu glanced at the unconscious Wen Suxi, realizing the gravity of the situation, and decided to stop fighting. Hua Yecheng then sent Chi Yu and Wen Suxi to Shancai's residence.

Afterward, Hua Yecheng erased Tang Mao's memory, implanting the false belief that he had simply gotten drunk, wanted to have a good time with Wen Suxi, but she had left the hotel before he awoke. As a subtle punishment, he also cursed Tang Mao to feel nauseous every time he drank alcohol.
