Chi Yu followed Wen Suxi out of the supermarket, attempting to discuss the events of the previous night. Wen Suxi, however, quickly changed the subject. She told Chi Yu that they were not family, only colleagues, and instructed him to call her "President Wen." When he tried to remind her of how heavy she was and how far he had to drag her, she brushed it off, saying she would leave if that was all he wanted to talk about.

She then thanked him for something from the previous night before informing him that the shooting date for the pilot film had been set and she had enrolled him in acting classes. She urged him to apply himself diligently, emphasizing that he should not disappoint her or the company's expectations. For this pilot film, Wen Suxi had invited new director Shi to help.

Youyou was worried about this director and suggested Wen Suxi ask Tang Mao for help, but Wen Suxi refused. During his acting class, Chi Yu struggled with an overly dramatic teacher's instruction. Initially, he couldn't imagine a pen as a rose, despite the teacher's flamboyant demonstration. The teacher then switched the exercise to a farewell scene, asking Chi Yu to express deep emotion while saying "Take care. Goodbye."

After the teacher offered a bizarre scenario about holding back diarrhea and dust-filled eyes, Chi Yu spotted Wen Suxi entering the room. His eyes softened, and he delivered the lines with genuine emotion, surprising Wen Suxi. Meanwhile, Cai Shumeng went to Tang Mao's home and saw him leaving with a man she found familiar. Back at her office, she researched the man online and discovered he was the China representative for TY Comics.

Surprised by Tang Mao's connection to this person, she deliberately arranged a meeting with the TY Comics representative, intending for Tang Mao to join her. She wondered about the nature of Tang Mao's involvement with him. Wen Suxi later questioned Chi Yu about his acting lesson, asking if he was taking it seriously and what he had learned.

He told her the topic was "farewell" and asked how she would bid goodbye to someone she loved if they were never to meet again. Wen Suxi replied that she would get pregnant with his child, so she could remember him through their offspring, even in old age.

Chi Yu smiled, and then, looking at Wen Suxi, he recited a dramatic line from class, comparing her to a "beautiful rose" with "mysterious fragrance" and "proud thorns" that represent her "last stubbornness," then offered her a pen as a "flower." Disgusted by his overly theatrical delivery, Wen Suxi called him "crazy" and left, reflecting that his acting style was too exaggerated and unrealistic.

On the way home, Dora's assistant, Natie, asked if it was worth falling out with Ping over Wen Suxi, noting that Ping had publicly announced Dora and Hu Dongkai's breakup and seemed to be losing interest in Dora's career. Dora retorted angrily, refusing to be compared to other artists or to rely on fake news for fame, despite Natie's attempts to reassure her of her beauty and talent.

Later, at a friend's birthday party, Hu Dongkai initially made a grand entrance but then tried to leave, concerned about paparazzi after seeing the revealing clothing of other girls. Their mutual friend convinced him to stay. After Dora arrived, Hu Dongkai approached her, suggesting they sing a duet. Dora, however, was irritated and accused him of staging a show, reminding him that they had already broken up. When Hu Dongkai challenged her to admit their past relationship, she remained silent.

Annoyed, Hu Dongkai dramatically called out her real name, Jiang Siya, stunning Dora, who then walked out without a word. Their mutual friend later informed Hu Dongkai that Dora was upset because her decision to star in Wen Suxi's pilot film had caused her to fall out with Ping, leading to her current difficulties. Hu Dongkai was surprised to hear that Dora had taken on Wen Suxi's project.

After learning about Dora's decision, Hu Dongkai angrily confronted his assistant, accusing her of missing a crucial opportunity because he believed Wen Suxi's pilot film was her chance to make a comeback, and he wanted a role in it. Despite the assistant's concerns about upsetting another manager, Hu Dongkai demanded she secure him a part immediately, threatening to take a vacation otherwise. The assistant met with Wen Suxi at a coffee shop.

Wen Suxi explained that the male lead role was already cast but offered Hu Dongkai the second male lead, suggesting he was well-suited for it. The assistant initially insisted on the lead role, but after a phone call with Hu Dongkai, she accepted the second male lead role, and You You was assigned to finalize the contract. While at the cafe, Wen Suxi noticed Cai Shumeng and Tang Mao at a nearby table.

She excused herself to the restroom, and Cai Shumeng followed her. Cai Shumeng then taunted Wen Suxi about turning down Tang Mao's proposal, insinuating that Wen Suxi was selfish and enjoyed having men like Tang Mao, Chi Yu, and Lin Haoshu (who was reportedly writing a script for her) doting on her and furthering her career. Wen Suxi defiantly warned Cai Shumeng to mind her own business, stating that she would soon become a "red rag" to Cai Shumeng again.

Cai Shumeng continued to provoke Wen Suxi, questioning if she had ever truly cared about anyone other than herself, claiming Wen Suxi was manipulative despite her innocent facade. Although Wen Suxi tried to appear strong, Cai Shumeng's words deeply affected her. Back home, Wen Suxi confided in Lin Haoshu, asking if she was selfish and if she often disregarded others' feelings.

Lin Haoshu reassured her, acknowledging that while people express themselves differently, those who truly know her understand she cares deeply about her friends. As a childhood friend, he gave her "101% feedback," saying she shouldn't be proud. Wen Suxi reflected on how she involved him in her project despite its uncertain prospects, knowing he wouldn't refuse.

Lin Haoshu dismissed his efforts, claiming he was simply writing for a fee and that she should be thanked for turning his work into a movie. Wen Suxi also expressed guilt about Chi Yu's selfless help, feeling like she took advantage of him, and admitted her mistake in thinking that being with Tang Mao was love just because he was kind and helpful, and they were used to each other.

When Lin Haoshu asked if she now understood what it meant to truly love someone, Wen Suxi replied, "Probably." She then went to read the script. Later, Wang Xiaomi messaged Lin Haoshu on WeChat, informing him she was deleting his photos as a formal farewell, as he had forgotten to blacklist her. Lin Haoshu fell silent, contemplating the message.

Her father then entered her room, asking if she heard him, and mentioned Uncle Dong's family, including Dong Bai, would be returning soon and they would have dinner together. Feeling that all his efforts were futile against destiny, Lin Haoshu wrote a poignant ending for his script, featuring the characters Lin Zimu and Wen Miao saying "Take care. Goodbye," suggesting they were fated not to be together.

You You read the script and was deeply saddened, questioning why he wrote such a heartbreaking conclusion and whether there was no chance for the characters to be together. Lin Haoshu simply apologized. Meanwhile, Hua Yecheng found Chi Yu, who was gazing at a dandelion necklace. Hua Yecheng informed Chi Yu that he had finally located the curator. Chi Yu, still looking distant, murmured "Take care.

Goodbye," seemingly pondering the concept of destiny and if his current presence before Wen Suxi was also pre-ordained. Hua Yecheng observed the dandelion and asked about the girl Chi Yu loved.
