> Deep Lurk Recap
Gao Qiao knew the TV station had sent out the news about Changsha. He came to the TV station to investigate who had sent out this message. Just then, Yun Hongshen also arrived here. He saw that the entrance of the TV station was full of Japanese soldiers. Gao Qiao brought people to find San Pu, the boss of the TV station.
San Pu told them he didn't see who the person who delivered the message was, and the newspaper wasn't published by them either. Mr. Liu, the person who delivered the message, went to call his girlfriend and is expected back soon. But soon after, someone came to report that there was a dead person downstairs, and people nearby said it was a Mr. Liu. San Pu said he didn't know if it was Mr. Liu.
Gao Qiao asked him to go down and identify the body. After Yun Hongshen knocked out a Japanese soldier, he put on the Japanese soldier's uniform and blended in among the Japanese. Gao Qiao came down to check the body. He pointed at Yun Hongshen and told him to search Mr. Liu for anything suspicious. Yun Hongshen took the opportunity to check the cause of Mr. Liu's death and saw the address Gao Qiao and the others were holding.
After the Japanese soldiers left, Yun Hongshen came back to find San Pu. He pretended he wanted to publish a missing person ad. Actually, Yun Hongshen was here to ask San Pu about Ba Ge. Yun Hongshen said San Pu shouldn't have killed Mr. Liu. San Pu was stunned for a moment. Immediately, he prepared to pull out his pistol and aim it at Yun Hongshen, but Yun Hongshen had already aimed his pistol at him earlier.
Yun Hongshen told him not to be nervous, they could be friends. San Pu said his friends wouldn't point a gun at him. Yun Hongshen returned home and found his father, wanting to know his secret. The butler, Old Xu, brought a letter, saying someone had given it to Yun Hongshen. Yun Muzhi asked him to bring it over so he could see it, but Yun Hongshen didn't give it to him.
Yun Muzhi then said if he let him see this letter, he would tell Yun Hongshen his secret. The two of them opened the letter but saw it was a blank piece of paper. Yun Hongshen got some honey and spread it on it, revealing the content which told Yun Hongshen to go to a teahouse tonight at eight o'clock, where he could meet Ba Ge.
Yun Hongshen said he had finished reading the letter and asked Yun Muzhi to tell him his secret. Yun Muzhi told him to go find Old Xu and say he told him to show it to him. Old Xu took Yun Hongshen to a room and said Yun Muzhi's secret was here. He told him to look, and after speaking, he went out and locked the door from the outside. Yun Hongshen was very angry.
He knew he had been deceived. He said he was going to investigate Ba Ge and see it through to the end. On the other side, the Japanese already knew that Yun Muzhi's death was fake. They knew this was thanks to Kunwu's warning and that Yun Muzhi's existence was a great threat to them. Yun Muzhi asked Old Xu to inform Zhang Xiancheng about the current situation.
Old Xu told him Yun Hongshen had escaped and had probably gone to the teahouse to meet Ba Ge. Yun Muzhi decided to go to the teahouse as well. Old Xu told him not to go; he would go himself. Old Xu knew that Yun Muzhi would likely meet with misfortune because the Japanese were currently hunting him. Yun Muzhi gave Old Xu a book and asked him to pass it on.
He asked Old Xu to go outside and see if anyone was monitoring them. Old Xu went out and indeed saw someone watching them. Yun Muzhi then said he would have to use his own death to convey the information. When Old Xu heard him say this, his eyes turned red. He didn't want Yun Muzhi to do this.
But Yun Muzhi said if he died, the organization would know there had been a major change, and they couldn't contact Yang Ziming right now. Yun Muzhi said since the Japanese didn't want him to live anyway, he would do this. Old Xu took Yun Muzhi to the teahouse where Yun Hongshen was preparing to meet Ba Ge. Sure enough, people started attacking, and Yun Muzhi was shot once. On the way back, Yun Hongshen held him, weeping uncontrollably.
Yun Muzhi told him that those who walk in the dark have no time for sorrow. Old Xu, who was driving, was also weeping uncontrollably. Yun Muzhi had sacrificed himself. The Japanese learned that all the gold bars the British transported to Japan had turned into iron bars. They knew it must have been done by Yun Muzhi. They prepared to go arrest Yun Hongshen and question him. In Changsha, Hunan, university students began to revolt.
The Japanese prepared to use violence against them. Yun Hongqi said they dare to do it but don't dare to let others talk about it.
