> Cute Programmer Recap

Following his father's advice, Jiang Yicheng arranges for an investigation into his rival, Lu Jingwen. The report confirms that Lu Jingwen is engaged, complete with a photograph from the engagement banquet posted online by his fiancée. Armed with this knowledge, Jiang Yicheng immediately heads to Chongqing. In the elevator of Lu Li's building, he runs into Lu Jingwen. Consumed by anger, Jiang Yicheng punches him before he can explain.

Lu Jingwen, who was forced into the engagement by his family, feels wronged but admits he forgot to tell Lu Li, lamenting that both Jiang Yicheng and his sister resort to violence instead of conversation. Later, Lu Li opens her door to find Jiang Yicheng, who embraces her and explains that despite leaving, he couldn't let her go. He reveals Lu Jingwen's engagement, but Lu Li, though surprised, remains calm and states she will break up with him.

Jiang Yicheng then confesses his change of heart. He says his father initially told him to "steal back" a loved one, but he now understands true love is about selfless devotion, even if it means letting her go for her own happiness. Hearing her decision to end things with Lu Jingwen, Jiang Yicheng reaffirms his commitment and asks for another chance.

When Lu Li hesitates, alluding to her pregnancy, he assures her that he already knows and will wholeheartedly accept and raise the child as his own. He then gently wishes her good night, giving her space to think. The next day, Lu Jingwen tells Lu Li that Jiang Yicheng's persistence is a sign of true love. After a work meeting about the "BOSS" game adaptation, they talk privately.

Sporting a bruised nose, which he jokingly attributes to "testing" Jiang Yicheng, he asks if she and Jiang Yicheng have reconciled. Lu Li confesses she is still struggling with how to address the pregnancy situation with him. Lu Jingwen advises her that a man who stays after learning a woman is pregnant with another's child is either a fool or truly in love.

He encourages her to enjoy Jiang Yicheng's courtship, reminding her that while words can be deceiving, actions are not. Soon after, a delivery person arrives at Lu Li's with numerous packages. Jiang Yicheng appears, explaining the items are his as he intends to move in, citing their legal marriage as justification. Despite her protests about the lack of space, he insists on sleeping on the sofa.

His first attempt at cooking ends in a mess, but he is determined to learn and is later seen studying a parenting book late at night. One evening, Lu Jingwen appears at the door, warning Jiang Yicheng to stay away from Lu Li and the baby. Jiang Yicheng dismisses him and tells Lu Li it was just someone from property management. The following day, Jiang Yicheng and Lu Li go shopping for baby supplies.

Filled with doting affection, he eagerly buys numerous items. He expresses concern that Lu Li isn't wearing radiation-proof clothing for her work, but she explains a colleague has taken over her computer-heavy tasks. At the store, Jiang Yicheng excitedly refers to himself as a "new father." Lu Li then asks him if he truly doesn't mind her pregnancy.

He admits that while he can't say he minds it "not at all," what he truly cares about is her, and since the child is part of her, he fully accepts it. That evening, Jiang Yicheng prepares dinner, his culinary skills vastly improved. When Lu Li notes the food's bland taste, he explains his research into pregnancy nutrition, emphasizing the need for a low-sodium diet and listing other restrictions.

He even looks up if seafood allergies are hereditary, demonstrating his commitment. He insists on handling all household chores, and while Lu Li finds his sudden change a bit overwhelming, she is touched by his efforts. A few days later, Jiang Yicheng surprises Lu Li with a tour of an office building he intends to rent for her training class. Touched but practical, Lu Li gently declines, explaining her pregnancy would prevent her from teaching consistently.

She shares her new, grander vision: to promote programming for women and challenge the societal prejudice that discourages them from the field. She reminds him that he was the one who opened the door to programming for her, and now she wants to do the same for others. Instead of analyzing the difficulties, Jiang Yicheng offers his unconditional support, affectionately calling her a "tree-climbing koala" and promising to follow her lead.

That night, Jiang Yicheng helps Lu Li devise a publicity strategy, suggesting they distribute flyers and host a free, programmer-themed salon to engage with their target audience. Impressed, Lu Li agrees to the simple yet effective plan. Afterwards, Jiang Yicheng calls Lei Zi, who is at an internet cafe, and pressures him to finish a task. After the call, Lei Zi gets into an argument with an opponent he repeatedly defeated.

Annoyed, Lei Zi shoves him, causing the man to fall, hit his head, and lose consciousness. At the hospital, a distraught Lei Zi is approached by Xu Yuanzhi, who identifies himself as the injured man's boss and the chairman of a rival company. Meanwhile, Jiang Yicheng and Lu Li begin their grassroots promotion, handing out flyers and securing a venue for their salon, committing to a minimum of two hundred attendees.

Amid their hard work, Jiang Yicheng gives Lu Li a heartfelt surprise: a collection of birthday gifts and cards, not just for the current year, but for every birthday he had missed since she was a child. As Lu Li reads the thoughtful messages for each year, her remaining resistance to him melts away.
