To dispel Lin Tuo's suicidal thoughts, An Zhique encouraged him to fight the illness and do some work within his capabilities. Lin Tuo compiled the nursing knowledge for ALS patients into a booklet. He regained his confidence in life and wanted to accomplish three things in his lifetime: become a designer, fight the illness to the end, and the most important thing, which he didn't mention, and An Zhique didn't ask further.

Today was Chen Guangpu and He Xindi's big wedding day. Relatives and friends were all present to congratulate them. An Zhique and Lin Tuo served as their bridesmaid and best man. An Hegui, as the bride's parent, walked He Xindi down the aisle to Chen Guangpu. Chen Guangpu gave an emotional speech. An Zhique assisted the caregivers in looking after the nursing home patients. Wen Yilan was once a ballet dancer who was about to get married, but was diagnosed with ALS.

Her fiancé broke up with her. Wen Yilan couldn't accept such a blow and once attempted suicide by cutting her wrists. Yang Qiuguo encouraged and comforted her, which made her abandon the idea. An Zhique often talked with her. Dongdong's birthday arrived. Lin Tuo and An Zhique helped him host a birthday party at the coffee shop. Dongdong's only wish was for his mother Yan'er not to cry anymore. Everyone present was moved by this.

Lin Shouzheng performed data analysis on Dongdong's case and found out that he had genetically caused ALS, which could be treated with medication. An Zhique was very happy. She and Lin Shouzheng discussed fundraising for Dongdong's treatment. Lin Tuo mobilized the patient group to donate for Dongdong. He also designed a set of simple and elegant furniture, wanting to use the money from selling it to treat Dongdong. Jiang Chucheng accompanied him to seek help from Wei Haiyang, who agreed to contact a factory for processing.
