Su Mang asked Su Chang for a suckermouth catfish to clean the fish tank. Su Mang asked Zheng Chu to help her retrieve it from Su Chang's shop. It so happened that Guoguo was also in Su Chang's magic hall, and she had Xiaoqiu with her. Guoguo happily held Zheng Chu's arm and introduced him to Xiaoqiu, saying he was her boyfriend. Both Zheng Chu and Xiaoqiu were stunned. Guoguo didn't expect that these two already knew each other.

Guoguo told Zheng Chu that Xiaoqiu was the future sister-in-law she had chosen. Since they knew each other, Zheng Chu should be even more duty-bound to set up Xiaoqiu and Tang Ming in the future. Zheng Chu's expression was solemn; he had no choice but to pull Guoguo aside, hesitated for a moment, and whispered to her that Xiaoqiu was Shanshan's biological older sister. Guoguo was extremely surprised.

Zheng Chu explained that Shanshan was his ex-girlfriend, which was why he knew about their relationship. However, Xiaoqiu was a very good person, Zheng Chu admonished Guoguo not to take out her anger on Xiaoqiu because of Shanshan. The next day, Zheng Chu went to Su Mang's home to change the water in her fish tank. But to his surprise, no one answered the door no matter how he knocked.

Zheng Chu panicked for a moment, worried that something might have happened to Su Mang at home. So Zheng Chu went downstairs; fortunately, their houses weren't very tall. Zheng Chu struggled to get in through the window. He found Su Mang sitting blankly by the fish tank, her face looking like she had just cried. Zheng Chu's heart immediately rose to his throat. It turned out that upon asking, he learned that the two kissing gourami had died.

Su Mang was grieving for those two fish. Only then did Zheng Chu relax; he quickly coaxed Su Mang to rest in a gentle tone, as if comforting a child, and stayed behind to handle the fish matters for her. Zheng Chu couldn't understand why Su Mang, who used to be a decisive and straightforward career woman with an unambiguous and neat personality, but now she had become melancholic, even crying for half the night over a fish.

He was very worried about Su Mang, so he specifically consulted a doctor. The doctor told Zheng Chu that this was merely a problem of mental tension in the early stages of pregnancy. The doctor suggested frequently engaging pregnant women in activities that cultivate sentiment and bring joy to the mind and body, as this could alleviate their tension.

To help Su Mang relieve this tense pregnancy mood, the next day, Zheng Chu specifically took Su Mang to a pottery shop to make ceramics. Su Mang gradually began to enjoy the pottery-making process, moving from initial resistance. Su Mang would playfully bother Zheng Chu from time to time; the two chatted and laughed, having a lively time.

From time to time, they would gaze at each other's profiles; bathed in the glow of the afterglow, the scene of them together was so beautiful and warm. Zheng Meiling decided to move back home to live, and incidentally, to supervise Zheng Chu to prevent him from being harassed by his single female boss. That day, Guoguo came to see Zheng Chu and happened to run into Zheng Meiling at home.

Only then did Guoguo realize that the CEO of Aimei Group was Zheng Chu's aunt. Zheng Meiling mistook Guoguo for Zheng Chu's official girlfriend. Guoguo was ecstatic, repeatedly saying that Auntie was truly her benefactor, and upon her return, she had achieved a double harvest in both career and love.

Zheng Chu frowned, a bitter expression on his face, and quickly explained to his aunt that there was nothing between him and Guoguo, and they could absolutely not be a couple. Su Mang woke up in the middle of the night, unbearable with hunger, and had no choice but to knock on Zheng Chu's door. Unexpectedly, she woke Zheng Meiling. Zheng Chu opened the door and saw Su Mang standing at his doorstep in her pajamas.

This scene made Zheng Meiling misunderstand Su Mang, thinking she had ulterior motives. She sarcastically accused Su Mang, saying, "At work, you're superior and subordinate, and being together then is fine, but coming out like this in the middle of the night is a bit unacceptable, isn't it?" Su Mang retorted to Zheng Meiling, "I couldn't sleep at home because I was hungry and came to ask your nephew for some food.

Do I have to put on makeup and wear nice clothes to do that?" The two exchanged words, almost starting a quarrel. Zheng Chu was caught in the middle, awkwardly trying to mediate. Zheng Meiling was unrelenting in every way, and Su Mang didn't want to be scorned any longer, so she turned and went back. A little while later, in Su Mang's living room, Su Mang was wolfing down the noodles Zheng Chu had made for her.

While eating, Su Mang said to Zheng Chu, who was beside her, that he had a conscience. Su Mang suddenly thought, "That aunt won't wake up and rush over, will she?" Zheng Chu comforted Su Mang, saying that his aunt valued her noon nap more than anything else, so she wouldn't. Su Mang then relaxed, but on second thought, it still didn't seem right. " The two of them are innocent, but now they are acting so secretively.

Why should I be afraid of that woman?" Zheng Chu quickly stopped Su Mang, saying that he had been slaving away for her for so long, so for his sake, she shouldn't argue with his aunt. Only then did Su Mang give up. Tang Ming invited Zheng Chu to the boxing gym to box. Tang Ming could see that Zheng Chu had been very out of sorts these past two days.

Zheng Chu sighed, saying that his mind was in a mess due to the constant bickering between Su Mang and his aunt. Tang Ming, as an outsider, told Zheng Chu that if he had nothing to hide, wouldn't keeping a distance from Su Mang solve the problem? Zheng Chu listened to this without committing. Zheng Chu hesitated for a moment and decided to tell Tang Ming that Xiaoqiu and Shanshan were biological sisters.

Tang Ming was completely stunned after hearing this. Shanshan flew back to Shanghai and called Tang Ming to ask him out for dinner. Tang Ming originally wanted to decline by saying he had a surgery, but he couldn't resist Shanshan's pleading. Tang Ming promised he would go after his surgery. Shanshan was at a party with colleagues, and everyone was clamoring to see Shanshan's new boyfriend. Just as they were talking, Tang Ming walked in.

Shanshan, with a triumphant smile, stepped forward and linked her arm through Tang Ming's. The male colleague who had previously harbored improper thoughts about Shanshan sarcastically said, "Who knows if it's real or fake?" To save face in front of her colleagues, Shanshan proactively kissed Tang Ming. Tang Ming knew that Shanshan did it to get rid of that colleague's harassment.

Although he was somewhat dissatisfied with Shanshan's actions in his heart, he did not expose Shanshan's lie in front of everyone. After the party, Tang Ming intentionally asked Shanshan about her family situation. It turned out that for so many years, while Shanshan knew a lot about Tang Ming's family background, including his relatives, Tang Ming realized he knew very little about Shanshan's family. He only knew that her mother had passed away.

Shanshan didn't expect Tang Ming to ask her this question, which also touched upon her pain. Shanshan told Tang Ming that she indeed had an older sister and a father, but her father was addicted to gambling, so she deeply hated him. As for her older sister, they hadn't been in touch for many years. Tang Ming thought of Xiaoqiu, and his heart felt heavy. Shanshan saw the snapdragon brooch on Tang Ming's chest.

Shanshan knew its flower language represented subtle love, and she couldn't help but resent what other women Tang Ming had around him that she didn't know about. Tang Ming felt very vexed after talking with Shanshan. He didn't know how to handle his relationship with the two sisters. That evening, Tang Ming invited Zheng Chu to drink together.

Zheng Chu told Tang Ming that he couldn't rely on listening or observing; what he could do in this matter was to see his own heart clearly. Unexpectedly, Tang Ming was fine after the drink, but Zheng Chu got completely drunk. Tang Ming helped Zheng Chu back home. Zheng Chu mumbled drunkenly that he couldn't go home because his aunt was there. Tang Ming didn't know what to do. Zheng Chu himself stumbled and walked to Su Mang's doorstep.

As soon as Su Mang opened the door, Tang Ming practically threw Zheng Chu into her arms, left a phrase "I'm leaving him to you," and quickly slipped away. Zheng Chu was dead drunk and fell asleep on the spot. Su Mang didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She couldn't send the drunk Zheng Chu back in the middle of the night, as his aunt seeing him would only cause a greater misunderstanding about her.

Helpless, Su Mang had to help Zheng Chu onto the sofa. Zheng Chu snored terribly loudly, making it impossible for Su Mang to fall asleep. Su Mang secretly drew a funny face on Zheng Chu, punishing him for making her unable to sleep. Zheng Chu was woken up in the morning by his aunt's incessant phone call. After realizing he was actually at Su Mang's house and understanding the situation, Zheng Chu quickly tiptoed out of Su Mang's house.

Just as he stepped out, he ran into Guoguo. Guoguo saw Zheng Chu coming out of Su Mang's house with a painted face and insisted on confronting Su Mang. Zheng Chu desperately stopped her and took Guoguo to explain to his aunt that he had been drinking with Guoguo's brother last night and it was too late, so he slept there. His aunt asked Zheng Chu how he would explain what was on his face.

Zheng Chu was startled when he looked in the mirror; he calmed himself down and winked at Guoguo. Guoguo helped him out, explaining that they played a game last night, Zheng Chu lost, and that's why he had a big painted face this time. His aunt reluctantly believed it.
