Lu Xiaolu chased after Bai Lan, who was walking ahead angrily. Bai Lan knew Lu Xiaolu just wanted her to help him catch the hooligan, but she would never agree. Lu Xiaolu's behavior tonight made Bai Lan even more convinced that he was the hooligan! Lu Xiaolu said he really didn't mean it that way, but when Bai Lan asked him to apologize, Lu Xiaolu looked disdainful and stated directly that there was no "I'm sorry" in his dictionary!

Bai Lan got angry and punched Lu Xiaolu directly before leaving, leaving Lu Xiaolu standing there stunned by himself. Li Kenan asked Lu Xiaolu if he had really fallen for Bai Lan.

Lu Xiaolu instinctively objected, but when he turned around to sleep, he unexpectedly dreamt of himself kissing Bai Lan. Lu Xiaolu was directly startled awake. Lu Xiaolu immediately checked if Li Kenan was awake and only relaxed when he saw Li Kenan sleeping soundly. During dinner, Qin Juan noticed something was off with Lu Xiaolu and quickly asked if he had dreamt of something scary. Lu Xiaolu repeatedly denied it, but his eyes uncontrollably kept looking towards Bai Lan.

Suddenly, colleagues from the repair team rushed over in a hurry, saying something had happened. Lu Xiaolu and Li Kenan went over together. It turned out that a machine imported from Germany had broken down. Lao Niupi was already looking at it. Lao Niupi saw at a glance that a screw was loose and was about to start fixing it, but the Section Chief stopped him, insisting on waiting for people from Germany to come and fix it.

However, it would take a week for the Germans to arrive. Lao Niupi was unhappy when he heard this, as all work would have to stop if the machine broke down. As an old-timer in the factory, Lao Niupi didn't want this to happen, but the Section Chief insisted on not letting Lao Niupi fix it and even said that they would have to bear all the consequences themselves! The entire repair team was in a low mood.

Lu Xiaolu stated directly that the machine must be repaired and even drew a topographical map of the path to the freezing workshop with his extraordinary memory. But Lao Niupi said he wouldn't fix it! But on the way to the freezing workshop that night, Lu Xiaolu encountered Lao Niupi leading everyone! It turned out that Lao Niupi didn't want to implicate everyone, but now that everyone was united, they would act together.

Lu Xiaolu also came up with the idea of having Chang Tui pretend to be a ghost, and it was a great success in the end. However, Chang Tui encountered Bai Lan when he was retreating! The next day, everyone was discussing the haunting in the freezing workshop and also said that the machine had miraculously fixed itself.

Lao Niupi and Lu Xiaolu kept silent until they heard the news that the Section Chief still wanted to wait for the Germans to arrive and wouldn't allow work to resume, at which point both of them became very angry! Finally, the Germans arrived. The Germans quickly discovered that there was an extra Chinese screw in the machine! The factory director immediately called Lao Niupi to the office.

It turned out that the Germans were threatening the factory with the contract signed back then, prohibiting anyone from tampering with the machine! Lao Niupi didn't understand, and Lu Xiaolu also spoke up, but it was no use. In the end, Bai Lan got the contract from Bi Zhigang. While Lu Xiaolu delayed the Germans, Bai Lan found a loophole in the contract. Finally, Bai Lan caught up with the Germans.

The Germans said they were shocked by Bai Lan's perseverance. Bai Lan stated directly that she simply had the right to pursue the truth! Everything was resolved. The factory director didn't dwell on the matter anymore. Although he said he would severely punish Li Kenan and Lu Xiaolu, in the end, it was just a simple written self-criticism that smoothed things over.

As for Lao Niupi, he had fixed the machine, so his merits offset his faults, and the factory director did not pursue it further. When Lu Xiaolu woke up, he was lying in Bai Lan's infirmary. While Bai Lan wasn't there, Lu Xiaolu held Bai Lan's white coat and played with it for a long time. When Bai Lan saw him, he lay back down. Bai Lan directly exposed him. After this incident, the relationship between the two of them eased significantly!
