Zheng Yufan’s mother constantly called her, urging her to switch her major to acting. Coupled with the recent last-minute change to her dance piece, which she struggled to perform smoothly, Yufan grew discouraged. She went to her training class and announced her intention to withdraw from the competition and drop out of school. While her dance teachers, including Ms. Tan, expressed regret, Principal Zhuang respected Yufan’s decision.

Earlier, students had observed Yufan consistently falling at the same spot during rehearsals, questioning if the increased difficulty was a wise choice. Yufan apologized to Ms. Tan for disappointing her, explaining that it was her own problem, not related to the teachers. Principal Zhuang ultimately allowed her to leave. Later, Yufan confessed to a younger student, Qu Zhen, that she envied how dancing brought Qu Zhen joy.

Wang Zeyuan continued to care for Tan Siting, driving her to and from work each day and cooking elaborate meals at her home, which significantly aided her recovery and brought back her smiles. His sister, Wang Shuhan, noticed his unwavering devotion. During a visit to Tan Siting's apartment, Wang Shuhan playfully teased her brother, remarking on his diligent care, which made him seem like a "homemaking service" worker. Later, Wang Shuhan took Wang Zeyuan aside for a serious conversation.

Anticipating her concerns about societal opinions, Wang Zeyuan asserted his maturity, stating he was responsible for his own actions and that external judgments meant nothing to him. Wang Shuhan clarified that while she supported his happiness, she needed to ask if he was prepared to be a father. She then revealed that Tan Siting’s child, whom they had all believed died twelve years ago, was alive and had been raised by Feng Rui.

She added that Tan Siting had recently confirmed this with a paternity test. Despite the shocking news, Wang Zeyuan remained steadfast, reiterating that it didn't change his feelings. He passionately spoke of his long-standing admiration for Tan Siting’s independence, courage, and dedication to her dreams, acknowledging that he sometimes felt unworthy but also recognized their similar drive to forge their own futures. Wang Shuhan, accepting his resolve, encouraged him to be prepared and wished happiness for them both.

Meanwhile, Wang Shuhan, feeling dejected, went to the Cabin Bar and drank heavily, reaching out to friends without success. As the bar prepared to close, she ordered a ride-share but, in her inebriated state, mistakenly got into a private car, failing to properly verify the license plate. During the ride, she vaguely recognized the driver, Wu Zuhao, from No. 11 Middle School, recalling his basketball skills and her own "famous" status back then.

She commented on his luxury car, and he explained that he enjoyed driving to unwind and chat with diverse passengers after his busy day job. She chattered animatedly before falling asleep. The next morning, she awoke in his car, bewildered. Wu Zuhao calmly explained he hadn't woken her because she was sleeping soundly. She attempted to pay the fare, but he declined, considering it a friendly gesture between former classmates, expressing only his hope that she felt better.

Before they parted, she asked for his contact information to treat him to a meal, which he gladly provided. Wang Zeyuan, dedicated to lifting Tan Siting’s spirits, drove her to an art exhibition hosted by his friend and business partner, Bao Hanlin. He reassured her that Zheng Yufan’s decision to quit dancing was due to family reasons, not the revised choreography, urging her not to feel guilty.

He emphasized that things would naturally improve and that she needed to relax and regulate her emotions. They first stopped at a popular noodle shop, where Wang Zeyuan proudly showed her his name on the "Noodle Champion Board" for eating nineteen bowls. At the exhibition, Bao introduced them to the modernist painter, Shi Jie, also known as Shitou.

Bao enthusiastically hailed Tan Siting as the "Venus of the Parisian scene," a compliment Tan Siting humorously connected to her injured foot, alluding to the armless Venus statue. Shi Jie expressed his admiration for her ballet performances and was particularly impressed by her insightful interpretation of his painting, "No One Shouts," which she perceived as a symbol of "release" rather than "oppression."

Wang Zeyuan casually mentioned that Feng Rui, whose family used to import wine, now owned and operated Cygne Winery. Soon after, Feng Rui arrived at the exhibition with his fiancée, Wen Peiyan. Tan Siting introduced Wang Zeyuan to Wen Peiyan and Feng Rui, noting that Wen Peiyan was her piano teacher at the training center and Feng Rui was her fiancé, offering her congratulations.

As they viewed the art, Feng Rui was struck by how closely Tan Siting’s understanding of the piece aligned with his own, contrasting with Wen Peiyan’s more conventional remarks. Wen Peiyan remarked on Tan Siting's unique perspective, asking if she resonated more with "oppression" or "release"; Tan Siting replied, "I am an observer." Wang Zeyuan commented on the surprising frequency of his and Tan Siting’s encounters with Feng Rui. Feng Rui then offered everyone a taste of his winery's wine.

Wang Zeyuan complimented the wine and lauded Feng Rui's consistent "correct choices" in both his career and personal life, wishing him happiness in his upcoming marriage. Later, Wen Peiyan observed to Feng Rui that Wang Zeyuan and Tan Siting appeared to be a well-suited couple and likely in a relationship, a comment that seemed to make Feng Rui contemplative. With Wang Zeyuan's unwavering support and care, Tan Siting's injuries continued to heal quickly, and she began to smile more frequently.

Meanwhile, Wang Shuhan had found happiness in a blossoming romance with Wu Zuhao. During a conversation, Wang Shuhan shared that she had been single for many years, feeling that love might not be for her after previous heartbreaks. Wu Zuhao, who had built an investment company after his parents passed away, countered her pessimism. He believed that love itself doesn't cause pain; rather, it's the wrong person in a relationship that does.

He encouraged her to remain open to finding the right individual and asked her to affectionately call him "Zu." They shared a toast, and Wu Zuhao continued to delight Wang Shuhan with thoughtful surprises, making her feel cherished.
