Just a few days into living at the He household, Qin Yiyue was constantly criticized by He Qiaoyan for various unreasonable reasons. He even claimed her hair loss was due to an unbalanced diet. She ignored him and secretly cooked luosifen. When Xiaobao discovered it, the two conspired to eat it in secret. Before long, He Qiaoyan smelled something and thought the bathroom was clogged. Qin Yiyue blamed it on Xiaobao’s farting, and He Qiaoyan actually believed her, even saying he needed to update Xiaobao’s diet.
Qin Yiyue planned a full day of activities for Xiaobao, but He Qiaoyan only allowed a visit to the museum. She secretly told Xiaobao she had her own way. She took him hiking and claimed it was a “natural history museum.”
When Wen Gu arrived at the company, he found that all the female employees his father had dismissed were reinstated. At first, he thought he was hallucinating, but then found out it was Yang Ruowei who had spoken to his father. Meanwhile, He Qiaoyan asked his secretary for a report about Xiaobao and Dr. Qin visiting the museum. The secretary accidentally revealed that all museums were closed on Mondays — which it was — and He Qiaoyan realized they had secretly gone elsewhere. Wen Gu waited downstairs to ask Ruowei to dinner again, but she turned him down.
While hiking with Xiaobao, it suddenly poured rain, but He Qiaoyan showed up just in time with an umbrella, greatly surprising Qin Yiyue. However, once home, they were scolded. Both Xiaobao and Dr. Qin caught colds. He Qiaoyan showed no mercy, found the luosifen wrappers, and declared that no unauthorized food would be allowed in the house again, even confiscating their snacks. After they left, He Qiaoyan secretly opened a snack and enjoyed it.
Qin Yiyue told Xiaobao she wanted to teach He Qiaoyan a lesson. Xiaobao, inspired, drew on his face with a marker while he slept. When Qin Yiyue picked up the marker, He Qiaoyan woke up. Xiaobao fled, and since they were so close, Qin Yiyue painted her own face instead.
The next morning, the two of them fought over the bathroom. He Qiaoyan got in first and, feeling shy, carefully put away the underwear he found. That day, Dr. Qin brought Xiaobao to her old university for a parent-child activity and unexpectedly ran into Ning Fang. They chatted and discussed finding a school for Xiaobao. Ning Fang suggested Sunshine Primary School, a school for special children, and took them for a visit.
At home, Dr. Qin told He Qiaoyan about the day, but Xiaobao showed him a photo of her and Ning Fang. Feeling jealous, He Qiaoyan rejected the idea and ignored her advice, upsetting her so much that she went to her room and skipped dinner. When Xiaobao asked him to coax her, he used a commanding tone, which only made her angrier. She packed her things and left.
Wen Gu again asked Ruowei to lunch but was still turned down. Meanwhile, Xiaobao secretly packed and went to find Dr. Qin. When she arrived, she messaged He Qiaoyan to prevent him from worrying. He came to pick her up, but Xiaobao refused to go home or cancel the agreement with Dr. Qin.
Qin Yiyue visited Ning Fang’s studio, and he invited her to work with him, having already prepared an office. Just then, Director Huang called to ask her to substitute at the hospital. There, she found that Sheng Huai’s mother was emotionally unstable. At a meeting, she suggested psychological evaluation, but Qingqing objected. After some debate, she went to speak with Sheng Huai’s mother, but Qingqing deliberately twisted her words, causing a misunderstanding.
While Sheng Huai’s mother was emotionally unstable on a phone call in the hallway, she bumped into Dr. Qin and pushed her down the stairs — just as He Qiaoyan arrived.
