She quickly turned back, and sure enough, Xiaobao was waiting at her doorstep. After finding him, He Qiaoyan was furious and shouted Xiaobao's full name, He Weifei. Qin Yiyue told him to stop talking, then picked Xiaobao up and took him inside. As soon as He Qiaoyan sat on the sofa, he noticed Dr. Qin’s stinky socks, which made her extremely embarrassed.
Xiaobao proactively admitted his mistake, and He Qiaoyan chose to forgive him. Dr. Qin went to cook, but the kitchen was a mess. He Qiaoyan teased her, saying that if she couldn’t cook, she shouldn’t try, or she’d become a laughingstock. They decided to have a fish-cooking competition. He Qiaoyan followed precise online instructions, while Dr. Qin relied entirely on her instincts.
In the end, Xiaobao judged Dr. Qin the winner because "feeling" is the soul of Chinese cuisine. She had cleverly avoided using ginger and garlic, and even replaced cooking wine with milk to cater to kids. When she took Xiaobao to wash his hands, He Qiaoyan sneakily tasted the food and was caught by the two. He joked about whether he should get a bowl of rice.
That night, after placing the sleeping Xiaobao into the car, He Qiaoyan and Qin Yiyue had a heated discussion about the contract. Using both pressure and provocation, He Qiaoyan successfully got her to sign the agreement. On their last night living together, Yang Ruowei and Qin Yiyue recalled their past experiences with deep nostalgia. They played music and had fun together.
At a Wens Group meeting, Wen Gu made a fool of himself by mistakenly presenting a group chat screenshot instead of his sales trend analysis, which utterly embarrassed his father, Chairman Wen. Yang Ruowei remained cold toward him.
Dr. Qin handed in a document summarizing the conditions of some special children to help the incoming doctor. While Qin Yiyue and her friends were gathering at home, He Qiaoyan suddenly sent someone over — it turned out he had bought her house. He called and ordered her to come down within two minutes. To spite him, she waited five minutes before going down, but she still rushed and even tripped on the way.
The next day, Qin Yiyue moved into He Qiaoyan's house with her luggage. Though they shared a room, they did not share a bed, all to make it seem natural to Xiaobao. To avoid arousing suspicion, they had to act like a real couple in daily life. In the kitchen, Qin Yiyue playfully attacked He Qiaoyan from behind. In the living room, they had to hug and lift each other. When He Qiaoyan lifted her, they locked eyes and seemed to feel something stir between them.
