Tie Yuan, leading the Helan tribe, launched a violent assault on the Suqin tribe's iron-making camp. The attack resulted in the massacre of all Suqin men, the theft of women and property, and left the camp a scene of devastation with blood flowing like rivers and wails echoing. The Suqin tribe, known for their skill in arrow-making, had been permitted by the Muyu Iron Cavalry to craft short arrows for trade.

However, their leader, Ziyan, had secretly been producing iron arrows and weapons, driven by a fierce desire to avenge the previous massacre of her tribe by the Shuofeng tribe. Ziyan, who was in the mountains experimenting with new arrow designs to strengthen her tribe, learned of the attack from a surviving woman.

Upon returning to the camp and witnessing the carnage, she was reminded of her past grievances, intensifying her resolve for vengeance against all who had harmed the Suqin tribe. Ziyan, demonstrating her cunning, secretly infiltrated Tie Yuan's temporary encampment to steal warhorses. Her intention was to lure Tie Yuan and his Helan soldiers into a meticulously prepared trap. Tie Yuan, arrogant and unwilling to let Ziyan escape, pursued her.

His soldiers were repelled by Ziyan's traps and a barrage of "iron arrow rain." Disbelieving that the seemingly small Suqin tribe possessed such capabilities, Tie Yuan personally charged Ziyan. Ziyan fired three arrows; Tie Yuan managed to dodge two, but the third struck him in the chest, causing him to fall from his horse, spitting blood. Ziyan then coolly mocked the wounded Helan leader before departing proudly.

Meanwhile, in Zhongzhou, Mu Ruhanjiang brought Su Yuning to Yishui Village for temporary refuge. Su Yuning became deeply emotional and saddened upon seeing the familiar corners of the village, particularly Su Mumu's former residence, and refused to stay there due to the painful memories of Su Mumu's death. Although Mu Ruhanjiang understood her grief, he insisted it was the safest place.

He acknowledged her desire to avoid constant reminders of his identity as a "killer hooligan" but remained resolute in his decision to leave her there for a while. He was bound by his vow to his father to maintain his distance from her, especially since her engagement to Muyun Sheng, as his duty as a Muyu clansman was solely to protect her as the future empress of the Muyun clan.

He promised to return for her when a true crown prince was established. While Su Yuning was the only inhabitant of the quiet village, often venturing out to fish in the snow or rain, Mu Ruhanjiang secretly cared for her. He built a wooden house nearby for himself, left neatly chopped firewood at her door, and on one occasion, she returned home to find two large fish hanging by her entrance, bringing a knowing smile to her face.

In the Muyun army camp, a messenger, after consuming fine wine offered by Muyun Luan's subordinate, became gravely ill and was on the verge of death. Gu Songtuo searched the messenger and discovered a fake reply letter. Doubting its contents, he immediately issued an order for the Silver Armored Army to use the Great Duan decree to summon and detain the leaders of the eight Hanzhou tribes.

He stipulated that these leaders would be held captive until Muyun Yanshuang was safely returned by their respective tribes. Tie Yuan, who had developed an interest in Ziyan, sent two carts of weapons to the Suqin tribe's camp as a proposed wedding gift. He rode alone to meet her and knelt to propose marriage.

Ziyan, however, placed a knife before him, asserting that no amount of weapons could win her heart, which she claimed had departed with her lover years ago. She then produced an eagle flute, promising to marry Tie Yuan only if he could find its other half.

Tie Yuan was subsequently greatly troubled upon learning from the Suqin tribespeople that the other half of Ziyan's eagle flute had, in fact, been burned with her deceased lover as an offering to the sky god years ago. Enraged in his tent, he regretted being made a fool of, yet acknowledged the strategic importance of the Suqin tribe's artisans.

His sister, Tieduo, then informed him that the Eastlanders, who had previously provided them with weapons and horses, were now demanding repayment by urging the Helan tribe to attack the Muyun Silver Armored Army. Tieduo expressed strong opposition, fearing that the Helan tribe would become a mere sacrifice in the Muyun clan's power struggles, and emphasized the formidable strength of the Muyun Silver Armored Army.

Tie Yuan, however, dismissed her advice, confident in the Helan tribe's current military might, and decided to proceed with testing the Muyun Silver Armored Army. Meanwhile, in Weipingzhai, or during a night when he was missing Pan Xi, Muyun Sheng diligently studied the "Demon Spirit Book." During this time, the shadow of Youyou Mei (also referred to as Hei Sheng) manifested before him, appearing either in his presence or on the wall.

Youyou Mei, expressing his unwillingness to remain controlled or sealed, urged Muyun Sheng to release him, even attempting to provoke him by mentioning his pain or stating that if he had not been sealed, he would have killed those who harmed Pan Xi. Muyun Sheng remained calm and unaffected, stating that while those individuals had wronged him, the broader world had not, and therefore, he would not permit Youyou Mei to be released to harm innocent people.

At this juncture in Hanzhou, Shuofeng Heye finally arrived at the Helan tribe, accompanied by Danyao tribesmen and bearing the Iron King Sword. He offered the Iron King Sword to Tie Yuan, declaring him the Iron King and expressing his unwavering loyalty. Although Tie Yuan harbored initial suspicions that Shuofeng Heye had been the one to pull the sword, he accepted it amidst the popular acclamation, thereby becoming the Iron King in the hearts of the Hanzhou people.

Tie Yuan promised Shuofeng Heye that should he conquer Hanzhou, they would share in its glory, and Shuofeng Heye subsequently claimed land in the fertile Shuofang Plains. This moment heralded the impending arrival of a fierce Hanzhou storm, prophesied to shatter the chains binding the Hanzhou people and usher in an era of freedom and fairness.
