Fei'er brought Lin Zhanhong to his childhood home to paint his portrait. As she worked, she remarked that he once described living there as his happiest time, a period when he smiled often, unlike his current somber demeanor. Fei'er suggested that if he reconsidered selling Zhuoyue, his dream could endure. Lin Zhanhong, however, lamented that while everyone has dreams, reality often intervenes.

He recounted how he, Mr. An, and Mr. Xiao co-founded Zhuoyue, but within two years, the company couldn't sustain operations, leading both partners to leave. He endured alone, making immense sacrifices, even kneeling and shedding blood to keep Zhuoyue afloat. He painfully witnessed Mr. An taking desperate risks and Mr. Xiao creating self-defeating situations, noting that they both ultimately failed, and only he succeeded.

Fei'er gently reminded him that the dream began with three young men, and he still had an opportunity to allow it to continue. After a period of deep reflection, during which he revisited memories of the three co-founders, Lin Zhanhong signed a share transfer agreement for Zhuoyue. Later, Fei'er presented the signed Zhuoyue transfer agreement to An Yu, explaining that her father, Lin Zhanhong, was exhausted and sought a place to rest, having transferred Zhuoyue to her.

Fei'er conveyed that the company would now rely on An Yu and Shao Moli. An Yu, deeply moved, expressed her gratitude and her hope that they would prove worthy of Fei'er's trust. Meanwhile, Shao Moli walked An Yu home, holding her hand. At her doorstep, he hesitated to enter, concerned about Yiyi's lingering animosity towards him. An Yu, understanding his reluctance, playfully reminded him of his previous boasts about numerous strategies to win Yiyi over.

She reassured him that Yiyi would eventually come to like his kind nature and insisted they attempt to bond with the child. Inside, An Yu encouraged Yiyi to share a candy with Shao Moli, introducing him as a good friend and "the Dark Knight, Moon, also known as Shao Moli." Despite Yiyi's initial refusal to acknowledge him, Shao Moli enthusiastically engaged the child in a game of hide-and-seek, followed by a playful water gun fight.

Their interaction soon became warm and familiar, a sight that filled An Yu with relief. Their joyful moment was abruptly interrupted when Mi Lu appeared, admonishing them for letting Yiyi play with water, especially during a change of season, as he was prone to illness. She reminded them it was Saturday and declared she was taking Yiyi home.

An Yu could only feel that, regardless, Yiyi had begun to accept Shao Moli, acknowledging that Shao Moli, too, needed time to fully understand Yiyi. Shao Moli embraced her, and they encouraged each other. Later, as Shao Moli and Yiyi sat on the grass, Yiyi saw another father and son playing happily, which stirred a longing for his own father, bringing him to tears.

Shao Moli gently explained that his father was fighting a "monster" at work and would return once it was defeated. He clarified that everyone must face their own monsters alone, and others cannot interfere. This conversation inspired a game of "find the invisible monster." Unbeknownst to them, Mi Lu was nearby, secretly recording their interaction on her phone. When An Yu returned, she found Shao Moli in a panic, searching for Yiyi, who had disappeared during their game.

An Yu, distraught, joined the frantic search. Soon after, Mi Lu reappeared with Yiyi. An Yu confronted Mi Lu angrily, questioning her sudden appearance and unauthorized removal of Yiyi. Mi Lu defended her actions, stating it was Saturday and she missed Yiyi, intending to take him to a theme park. An Yu criticized Mi Lu's erratic behavior, reminding her that such actions caused immense worry.

She sternly warned Mi Lu that if she could not control her emotions and respect their agreed-upon visitation schedule, An Yu would restrict her access to Yiyi. Mi Lu retaliated, declaring that she, as Yiyi's sole mother, had raised him and could provide what An Yu never could. An Yu reiterated her boundary, and then left with Shao Moli and Yiyi. That evening, after An Yu tucked Yiyi into bed, she joined Shao Moli in the living room.

Shao Moli apologized for the day's events, but An Yu confessed her fear at Mi Lu's increasingly irrational behavior. Shao Moli promised to be more vigilant and ensure Yiyi's safety, vowing never to let him out of his sight again. An Yu, weary from the day, asked Shao Moli to go home and rest, which he did after sharing a hug.

Meanwhile, Mi Lu received a call from Mr. Qin, her lawyer, who informed her that her application for custody modification had been rejected by the court. The news utterly devastated her. Overwhelmed and drunk, Mi Lu violently forced her way into An Yu's house, frantically calling for Yiyi. An Yu, terrified, confronted Mi Lu, demanding to know how she entered and accusing her of hiding Yiyi.

Mi Lu, in a desperate state, pleaded with An Yu to return Yiyi, offering anything, even her own life. An Yu, disturbed by Mi Lu's aggressive and inebriated state, threatened to call the police if Mi Lu didn't leave immediately. Mi Lu, undeterred, lunged towards Yiyi's room. An Yu quickly locked herself and Yiyi in the bedroom and called Shao Moli for help, urging him to come quickly. Shao Moli arrived shortly after.

He comforted a frightened Yiyi and An Yu, suggesting they stay at his place for safety. As they prepared to leave, An Yu realized she had forgotten Yiyi's beloved "Little Red Riding Hood" pillow, essential for him to sleep. She rushed back inside to retrieve it. As An Yu re-entered the house, Mi Lu, still outside in her car, saw her. Consumed by rage and despair from the custody rejection, Mi Lu accelerated, aiming her car at An Yu.

Shao Moli, seeing the imminent danger, pushed An Yu out of the way, taking the full impact himself. He was thrown into the air and collapsed onto the ground, severely injured and unconscious. At the hospital, doctors informed An Yu that Shao Moli had sustained multiple external injuries, including broken ribs and four fractures in his limbs. His unconscious state was attributed to a severe concussion that caused intracranial hemorrhage.

They could not determine when he would awaken, as it depended on how quickly his body absorbed the blood clot. Overwhelmed, An Yu called her friends, Lailai and Ye Kai, entrusting Yiyi's care to them. Lailai and Ye Kai rushed to the hospital to support An Yu, offering words of comfort and reassurance. Ye Kai optimistically suggested that Shao Moli, known for his luck, might wake up once the anesthesia wore off. They promised to care for Yiyi and Shao Moli around the clock, urging An Yu to prioritize her own well-being.
