> Timeless Love Recap

During his youthful years, Jiang Dian found himself deeply in love with someone. He reflected on her quiet nature, noting that while she rarely smiled, her smile was beautiful. Though she preferred stillness, her movements were captivating. She appeared indifferent, yet underneath, she possessed a profound gentleness. This woman, akin to a cat, entered his life, driving away his solitude, curing his strong beliefs, and warming his entire youth.

The university broadcast announced an upcoming welfare activity, jointly organized by the freshmen of the Business School and Half-Moon Book Cafe, to be held this Wednesday at the Second Welfare House. Lian Ruoshen found Jiang Dian relaxing on his balcony and tried to persuade him to join the Business School's team. He expressed a desire to experience the excitement of being led by a capable player like Jiang Dian, but Jiang Dian simply replied that he was not interested.

Lian Ruoshen, feeling rejected, urged him to reconsider, emphasizing the importance of the Business School's reputation. Later, Lian Ruoshen woke Jiang Dian, reminding him it was time for work. On their way to work by motorcycle, Lian Ruoshen began to feel nauseous, confessing he wanted to vomit. When Jiang Dian asked if he was okay, Lian Ruoshen lamented his unusual "motorcycle sickness" compared to common car or seasickness.

He told Jiang Dian to go to work alone while he returned home. Soon after, they encountered a group of thugs robbing and beating a university student, Lu Bie. Jiang Dian initially declared that no one would dare harm students from their university, but upon seeing the large number of thugs, he attempted to de-escalate the situation by pretending to be drunk. Lian Ruoshen urged Jiang Dian to retreat immediately.

However, Lu Bie pointed to Lian Ruoshen's limited-edition sneakers, claiming he was rich. Enraged, Lian Ruoshen called Lu Bie a betrayer. The thugs demanded all valuables. Lian Ruoshen defiantly stated he could lose his head and blood but not his shoes. During the ensuing scuffle, one of the thugs acknowledged Jiang Dian and Lian Ruoshen as the "double kill" of their university, though Lian Ruoshen preferred being called the "Wolves of Linxi University."

The thug leader dismissed their titles and threatened them. Jiang Dian then bluffed, claiming the police had been called and were on their way. The thugs were momentarily startled, but one realized it was a trick. Nevertheless, they scattered and ran. While fleeing from the thugs, Jiang Dian took refuge in the Half-Moon Book Cafe. There, he saw Cheng Feng performing a solo dance and was instantly captivated, falling deeply in love with her.

The next day, Jiang Dian received a phone call from someone asking if he had decided to join the physics contest. Jiang Dian said he would give an answer in person, prompting the caller to say not to bother seeing them if he refused. Later, Lu Bie, grateful for their help the previous night, invited Jiang Dian and Lian Ruoshen to the Half-Moon Book Cafe, which was owned by his older cousin, Cheng Feng.

Upon arriving, Jiang Dian was astonished to realize that Cheng Feng was the enchanting dancer he had seen the night before. Lu Bie playfully warned Jiang Dian not to stare at Cheng Feng, describing her as a thorny rose. Cheng Feng, noticing Jiang Dian and Lu Bie bickering, told them to take their fight outside. Lu Bie tried to appeal to Cheng Feng, reminding her of their family connection, but Cheng Feng coolly stated they weren't close.

While Lian Ruoshen and Lu Bie got into a drinking contest, Jiang Dian tried to engage Cheng Feng in conversation, suggesting that a Martini would taste better with sea salt and lemon. He then offered her a drink, which she politely declined, stating she didn't like what he liked. Jiang Dian asked if he could have it if she didn't want it, and she agreed only if he accepted it as her treat.

Meanwhile, Lian Ruoshen and Lu Bie, now quite drunk, were bonding and decided to become sworn brothers. At that moment, a staff member informed Cheng Feng that the locksmith couldn't come to fix a broken lock. Jiang Dian offered to help, stating he had experience with locks. After Jiang Dian successfully fixed the lock, Cheng Feng instructed the staff to pay him, but Jiang Dian declined the payment.

Suddenly, a student rushed in, informing a half-asleep Lian Ruoshen that Ms. Pei, their assistant teacher, was on her way. Lian Ruoshen quickly tried to hide the wine bottles as Ms. Pei entered, with the two feigning interest in studying. Ms. Pei confronted them for drinking during class hours. Lian Ruoshen attempted to deflect by complimenting her, but Ms. Pei insisted on being called "Ms. Pei" and ordered him to write a 4,000-character self-criticism report.

When Lian Ruoshen protested, Ms. Pei increased the penalty to 6,000 characters. She then questioned Jiang Dian, who confirmed he was doing homework with them. Ms. Pei reminded him that Lian Ruoshen struggled for three years to get into university and advised Jiang Dian not to spoil him. After Ms. Pei finished scolding the students, she confided in Cheng Feng, expressing her frustration with their class, especially Lian Ruoshen. She wished for more students like Jiang Dian—smart, handsome, and well-behaved.

Cheng Feng, however, coolly commented that Ms. Pei had poor judgment. Later, Ms. Pei urged Cheng Feng to join her and Dai Baoling, another close friend, for a night out. Cheng Feng eventually agreed. At the bar, Dai Baoling, busy with her agent work, met up with them. She remarked on the number of attractive waiters and pointed out Jiang Dian, the bartender, whose eyes seemed fixed on Cheng Feng.

Cheng Feng, however, declared her disinterest in "younger guys," questioning if their attention was genuine affection or merely an attempt to flirt. Ms. Pei then brought up Cheng Feng's past as an award-winning dancer and wondered why she had stopped. Dai Baoling quickly intervened, attributing Ms. Pei's intrusive questions to her being drunk and offered to take her home, leaving Cheng Feng to drink alone for a bit longer.

As Jiang Dian wiped tables near Cheng Feng, she confronted him, calling it impolite to stare at a drunk woman. On her way home from the bar, Cheng Feng was accosted by a thug. Jiang Dian, who also worked at the bar, intervened to rescue her. However, she reacted coldly to his help. He escorted her home, and she thanked him dismissively before telling him to go no further.
