> The Eternal Love 2 Recap

After the Dark Emperor's explosion on Xuanling Continent, a powerful gravitational force reversed time and twisted space, pulling Mo Liancheng and Tan'er into a black hole. Mo Liancheng discovered the reality of parallel worlds, where a qualitative change in energy levels can trigger a new dimension, creating a time-space furcation where past and present selves coexist. He found himself on a strange continent, realizing he had failed to protect Tan'er, who had been pulled into a time-space crack and disappeared.

He searched desperately for her, and just as he was losing hope, he discovered he had arrived in her hometown. Believing he could find her because their Life Bond remained, he quickly absorbed modern knowledge and became a successful antiquarian to acquire more resources. Nearly a year later, Mo Liancheng finally found Tan'er. However, this version of her, Qu Xiaotan, had no Soul Bead, no Life Bond, and did not recognize him.

He realized that time, not just space, had been twisted, and he had found a past version of her who had never met him. Despite this, Mo Liancheng was determined to protect her, moved by her smile when she asked if he wished to buy a house. He also noticed that others were watching her.

One day, Qu Xiaotan, a real estate agent, was reprimanded by her manager for using a listed property to shower due to a broken water heater at home. Her manager then urgently tasked her with delivering documents to a major client, Mo Liancheng, giving her only ten minutes. At his villa, Qu Xiaotan found the door's access panel unresponsive. Mo Liancheng claimed he forgot his keys and password, and goaded her into climbing the wall.

Grumbling to herself but desperate for the commission, she agreed, boasting that wall-climbing was her specialty. As Qu Xiaotan scaled the wall, Mo Liancheng casually opened the door from the inside, announcing he had remembered the password. Furious, she remained perched on the wall and asked for help getting down. He refused, citing it was improper for a man and a woman to touch. She muttered a curse, calling him a "sissy," and eventually slipped.

Mo Liancheng rushed to catch her, but she later accused him of letting her go, which he denied. Deciding to endure his antics for the commission, she moved on. Later, while presenting house layouts, Mo Liancheng abruptly asked her to marry him, explaining that as a non-native, marrying a local would allow him to purchase another property. Flustered but tempted by the prospect of a wealthy, handsome husband, Qu Xiaotan hesitated.

Seeing this, Mo Liancheng quickly retracted the offer, saying it was inappropriate, leaving her disappointed. Mo Liancheng then went to practice calligraphy. Qu Xiaotan eagerly followed to grind his ink, privately complaining about his silence. She accidentally spilled ink on his clothes and, while cleaning it, noticed a tattoo on his chest. After she had looked her fill, he instructed her to hand-wash his clothes.

Their interaction was interrupted when a woman named Lin Ke stormed in, calling Mo Liancheng by his name and demanding to know who Qu Xiaotan was. Mo Liancheng coldly introduced Lin Ke as a business partner, told her his personal affairs were none of her concern, and warned her not to visit his private residence unannounced again. Humiliated, Lin Ke, who had come to invite him to dinner, left in anger.

That evening, Qu Xiaotan posted on social media, warning other agents about a "wretched young man." Moments later, Mo Liancheng called, stating he was downstairs and telling her to come down immediately. He drove her to an upscale restaurant, explaining that he was hungry and eating alone was sad. He dismissed her questions about Lin Ke and gave her his own steak, claiming it wasn't cooked to his preference.

As she enjoyed the meal, he playfully suggested that marrying him would allow her to eat such food often. After dinner, back in the car, Mo Liancheng had Qu Xiaotan add him on WeChat, giving her the password "0529". Just as she finished, he sensed danger and pushed her out of the car. An instant later, a massive object crashed onto the car, destroying it.

Qu Xiaotan was stunned, and her shock grew when a doctor confirmed that Mo Liancheng, despite being inside the wreck, was completely unharmed. Feeling indebted to him, she reluctantly agreed to take care of her "savior," who feigned injury and demanded she make him tea and cut fruit. Later that night, exhausted, Qu Xiaotan fell asleep on the kitchen floor while peeling an apple. Mo Liancheng gently carried her to her bed.

Watching her sleep, he silently vowed to protect her and cherish this second chance, determined to live peacefully by her side, no matter the cost. The next morning, Qu Xiaotan woke up to find Mo Liancheng in her bed. Startled, she accused him of crossing a line. Feigning innocence and injury, he retorted that as a "badly injured patient," he had no idea how he got there.
