Before they fought, Zhao Yuzhen asked Li Hanyi to remove her mask. She reluctantly complied, and then Zhao Yuzhen unleashed a move called Infinite Calamity—his peach wood sword flying into the air, suddenly multiplying into thousands.

Li Hanyi countered with Moonlight at Dusk, Sword at Dawn, summoning a flurry of peach blossoms from the mountains to dispel the myriad swords. The duel ended in a draw. Neither claimed victory, and romantic feelings began to grow. Li Hanyi suggested Zhao Yuzhen leave the mountain, but he believed his master wouldn’t permit it, fearing his departure would cause chaos in the world. Thus, Li Hanyi promised to return to Wangcheng Mountain in a year to take him away.

As for what happened afterward, Tang Lian did not know. He guessed Zhao Yuzhen remained waiting at Wangcheng Mountain, just like how he, after leaving the Tang Clan, became a disciple of the Drunken Immortal Bai Li Dongjun and came to Xueyue City to wait for someone. But this wait had already lasted six years.

Xiao Se remarked that people of the Tang Clan were always like this, burdened with too many missions from birth, living without freedom and never for themselves. Meanwhile, Lei Yunhe arrived at Wangcheng Mountain riding his crane, returning after many years to settle old scores. Back then, Lei Hong passed by and witnessed the Moonlight at Dusk, Sword at Dawn technique, becoming completely obsessed with swordsmanship, willing even to be expelled from Leimen.

Lei Yunhe blamed Zhao Yuzhen for this and challenged him, only to have his right arm severed in the duel. Xiao Se explained that with that sum, he could recruit soldiers and return to Tianqi City to reclaim what was his.

Realizing something was wrong, Lei Wujie rushed to intercept the stranger, stating that his master was in seclusion and was not to be disturbed. The man drew the Watersplitter Sword, and Lei Wujie recognized him as Song Yanhui, Lord of Wushuang City.

At first, Lei Wujie was no match for Song Yanhui. But once he grasped the will to draw the sword and successfully pulled out the Listening Rain Sword, he was still defeated. However, this act of drawing the sword was what Li Hanyi feared most. Sensing her fury, Sikong Changfeng immediately alerted Yin Luoxia to stop Song Yanhui—otherwise, he might really die in Xueyue City.

Yin Luoxia and Song Yanhui had a past at Canglan River, but due to his burdens, Song Yanhui couldn’t reciprocate her feelings. Upon hearing her master crying, Luo Mingxuan burst into the room and drove Song Yanhui away, only then realizing he was the Lord of Wushuang City.

He had already learned to control ten flying swords in a short time and swore to become a Sword Immortal within a year. Song Yanhui was greatly comforted.
