Twenty-six-year-old Zeng Li is a librarian at Donghu University. She has spent eight years studying and working here. Many people don't understand why she stayed at the university, probably because Zeng Li likes simple tasks, although occasionally she makes mistakes. The university is far from the city's hustle and bustle. The coffee shop next to it was taken over by Zeng Li and her sisters two years ago by pooling their money.
Her colleagues were researching the ranking of the most handsome guys at Donghu University. Unexpectedly, the top two were not students but two male teachers. Through her blurry vision, she saw Ai Jingchu walk in, replacing the doctor. Ai Jingchu carefully and gently wiped her sweat and comforted her, saying, "It'll be over soon." Zeng Li's heart was full of thoughts, thinking how small the world truly was. Soon, the anesthesia took effect, and Zeng Li stopped crying out in pain. Intern doctors came in to learn from Ai Jingchu. Zeng Li was surrounded by them like a giant panda.
Ai Jingchu's sudden pauses while speaking made Zeng Li's heart beat even faster. Zeng Li originally thought pulling the tooth would be very painful, but unexpectedly, Ai Jingchu finished it in just a few quick steps. She felt absolutely nothing. After Zeng Li's mother came in, she saw Zeng Li sitting blankly in the chair and jokingly complained that she looked like a catfish. Zeng Li grumbled that Ai Jingchu's medical skills were good, but his character was poor.
