Song Xiaomi, fueled by determination, found a clever way to score, inspiring her teammates to follow suit and tie the game. In the decisive round, Song Xiaomi and Fang Yu worked together seamlessly, securing a victory that sent Wang Shiwei retreating in defeat. Afterward, the four friends celebrated at a noodle stall, where Sun Hao and Cheng Yanan subtly tried to encourage Fang Yu and Song Xiaomi to reconcile, though their efforts were met with polite indifference.

Later, a very tipsy Song Xiaomi was taken back to the martial arts hall by Fang Yu and Cheng Yanan. While Cheng Yanan went to fetch blankets, Song Xiaomi, in her drunken state, started acting wildly towards Fang Yu. Fang Yu, having reached her limit, initiated a playful pillow fight, with Cheng Yanan eventually joining in. The three girls spent the night in boisterous fun, leaving the room covered in pillow stuffing by morning.

The next day, Fang Yu and Song Xiaomi left early. Cheng Yanan's father was waiting for the chef to cook, but Cheng Yanan realized they hadn't given the medicated wine to Hao's mother, so she pulled her father along to Hao's mother's house. Meanwhile, Ming Tian and Fang Yu began their morning training. After a strenuous session, they lay on the floor, enjoying a moment of quiet understanding.

As Cheng Yanan dragged her father to Hao's mother's house, her father's unusual behavior struck her as strange. They waited for a while without seeing anyone, giving Cheng Yanan's father the chance to slip away. Fang Yu's grandfather's health continued to decline, which deeply concerned Fang Zhou, especially after overhearing staff discuss his grandfather's inability to retire. Softened by this, Fang Zhou went to Zhengze University but couldn't find Fang Yu.

He sought out Song Xiaomi to help him locate her. At the boxing club, Fang Zhou informed Fang Yu about their grandfather's condition and urged her to return home. Fang Zhou reminded her that while they had lost their parents early, their grandfather had also lost his son. Fang Yu didn't refuse but worried about what her grandfather might do to Ming Tian. Fang Yu and Fang Zhou returned home together.

Fang Yu was relieved that her grandfather did not scold her. The next day, Fang Yu informed Ming Tian she had moved back home, reassuring him that her grandfather had not mentioned her leaving school again. Ming Tian expressed his concern, noting he had suspected she was under immense stress and had not imagined her grandfather would try to force her to quit school.

Fang Yu explained it was just something he said in anger and that everything was fine now, like the "rain has passed and the sun is out." Cheng Yanan started her morning with a run, her usual energy restored. She found herself internally celebrating her strong and cool nature, and her boxing prowess. However, upon encountering Luo Guanyan, her internal monologue shifted to self-loathing, wondering why she couldn't resist the urge to turn around and look at him.

They passed each other without a word. Soon after, He Xiaofeng approached Luo Guanyan to inform him that the principal had ended his punishment, but he continued to clean, stating that he intended to finish what he had started. He Xiaofeng then angrily confessed to Luo Guanyan that she had been the one to tell Cheng Yanan about his true intentions to learn the Death Strike.

Luo Guanyan revealed he had already deduced it, adding that if there was a problem between him and Cheng Yanan, it would have surfaced eventually regardless of her interference. He stated he preferred not to have a reason to hate her. He Xiaofeng then admitted she would rather he hated her than ignored her. With less than a month remaining until the Zhengze League Finals, everyone intensified their training. Cheng Yanan, boxing fiercely with a headband, captivated many students.

Observing her, Ma Yichen inwardly reflected that her difficult romantic situation seemed to fuel her boxing success, similar to his own. He then humbly approached Luo Guanyan, requesting to be taught boxing. Luo Guanyan readily agreed, explaining that proper boxing begins with a strong foundation encompassing not only skills but also emotions, attitude, and most importantly, the heart. He warned Ma Yichen that he would be stricter than ever, accepting no excuses.

As Ma Yichen began training in basic footwork, he internally confessed that his goal was to defeat Ming Tian. Strangely, as he committed to this new ambition, his animosity towards Ming Tian began to fade. Luo Guanyan offered him a philosophical insight, stating that when one's steps are unsteady, they seek to step on others, but when firm, they realize no one needs to be trampled, allowing them to advance freely.

That evening, as rain pattered outside, Ming Tian, Fang Yu, Ming Zhu, and Ming Lang shared a special dinner of instant noodles by candlelight after a sudden power outage plunged their home into darkness. Ming Zhu and Ming Lang excitedly declared it the best instant noodles they'd ever had, while Fang Yu admitted her own inability to cook even such a simple dish. Ming Tian promised to cook for her whenever she desired.

The impromptu candlelight dinner created a romantic atmosphere. Meanwhile, at their own home, Fang Zhou waited with his grandfather for Fang Yu to return. Fang Zhou urged his grandfather to accept Ming Tian, emphasizing the seriousness and longevity of Fang Yu’s feelings, comparing it to her enduring passion for MMA. His grandfather, however, responded cryptically, asserting that the relationship's endurance would be proven by facts, not words.

The next day, Ming Tian was baffled when both the coffee shop and car wash where he worked unexpectedly closed for "remodeling" or "equipment against regulations." He was paid off and told to take a leave of absence until they reopened, leaving him worried about his finances.

Later that night, his landlord arrived, demanding he and his siblings vacate their home within two to three days, claiming a buyer had come forward and citing Ming Tian’s history of late rent payments. Ming Tian tried to reason with her, asking for more time, but the landlord was firm, dismissing his pleas. Ming Tian later had a phone conversation with Fang Yu.

He informed her that he was rushing to the company, implying he was busy, and subtly resisted her offer to send a repair company for his electricity. He then tried to tell her something important, but Fang Zhou, who was with Fang Yu, interrupted, urging Fang Yu to leave. Ming Tian quickly ended the call, saying he would call her back later.

Soon after, Fang Zhou confronted Ming Tian in person, revealing he had investigated and confirmed that their grandfather was behind the closure of Ming Tian's workplaces and even his house being reclaimed. Fang Zhou expressed his gratitude when Ming Tian assured him he would not disclose this to Fang Yu, as she had just reconciled with her grandfather and he didn't want to cause more trouble for her.

Fang Zhou promised to handle the situation and rectify the wrongs done to Ming Tian. At the Zhiying Boxing Club, an S-rank competitor from Ximen Sports Institute named Wu Ji appeared and challenged Luo Guanyan. Luo Guanyan explained that he had been disqualified from the Zhengze League Finals and was not looking for a fight outside of an official match, as he believed boxing should not be used for mere fighting.

He politely refused the challenge, advising Wu Ji to seek someone else and to close the door on his way out. Later, Mother Hao was approached by a business representative who presented his card and stated his company wished to purchase her noodle stall, its rental contract, and her current house, offering to cooperate on a reasonable price. When Mother Hao questioned the reason, the representative cited business secrets.

Mother Hao, recalling Ming Tian's string of unfortunate events and realizing the company had discovered Ming Tian and his siblings were living with her, understood the true motive. Song Xiaomi called Sun Hao, inquiring if Ming Tian's family had indeed moved into his house. Sun Hao confirmed it, describing Ming Tian's bad luck. Song Xiaomi worried about Ming Zhu and Ming Lang being affected and Ming Tian having to wake up even earlier for school.

Sun Hao reassured her that his mother was there and the children were happy. Annoyed by Song Xiaomi's barrage of questions, Sun Hao invited her to his house to ask Ming Tian directly. Song Xiaomi, keen to clarify it was Sun Hao's invitation and not her taking the initiative, accepted. The two then left the club, with Song Xiaomi wanting to buy muffins for Ming Zhu and Ming Lang.

She offered to buy Sun Hao one, teasing him about flavors before picking his favorite original one, a detail that surprised him and made him feel a familiar warmth. Meanwhile, Fang Yu was at a bakery with Fang Zhou, arranging for a box of low-sugar buttercream pastries for her grandfather.

As Fang Zhou teased her for "sucking up" to their grandfather, Fang Yu accidentally bumped into someone, causing a "Housing Purchase Agreement" to fall to the floor, which she quickly noticed.
