Chen Yidu declined Li Weiwei's invitation to her Ling Long Women's Casual Wear New Product Launch, explaining he had an important client meeting. When Li Weiwei pressed him, he revealed his concern that his presence at the show might cause unnecessary misunderstandings among reporters and raise suspicions from Huo Xiao, potentially disrupting the important event.
Huo Xiao told Ou Ye that his flower house might never be given to Li Weiwei, as she wanted to "talk seriously" after the launch, and he had a feeling it was "something he didn't want to hear." Ou Ye passionately encouraged Huo Xiao not to give up, telling him that "if he was a man, he must immediately win Li Weiwei back."
Meanwhile, Mo Fan met with Tiffany, expressing concern that Chen Yidu was infatuated with Li Weiwei and was now helping Ling Long's women's casual wear department. However, the board members gave Chen Yidu an ultimatum: either break up with Li Weiwei or resign as D. U. chairman. Chen Yidu waited outside Huo Xiao's home to negotiate, with both men demanding the other give up Li Weiwei, offering anything in exchange.
