> Stay With Me Recap

Chen Yidu had previously broken up with Li Weiwei, stating that their opposing positions as rivals, D. U. and Ling Long, made their relationship impossible without causing pain and resentment from every business encounter. Despite his resolute departure, Li Weiwei persistently tried to reconcile with him. She moved into the apartment next door to him, determined to pursue him from all angles.

She made efforts to spend time with him, once intercepting him in the parking lot disguised to elicit sympathy, but accidentally scared a security guard unconscious instead of moving Chen Yidu. In another attempt, her brother Leo, feigning interest in Tiffany, gathered information on Chen Yidu's preferences for Li Weiwei. Li Weiwei also made Chen Yidu a mango cake, unaware that mango was his allergen, causing him to break out in an itchy rash.

Meanwhile, Huo Xiao, who paid Leo a large sum to find Li Weiwei's new address, brought her homemade pig trotters soup and confessed his desire to marry her, which Li Weiwei deflected by playfully calling them "besties." At D. U. , Li Weiwei pushed for a joint design venture between Ling Long and D. U. for the International Tango Dance Competition. She presented a contract, requiring Chen Yidu to collaborate with her.

Chen Yidu agreed, stating he would accept anything that benefits his company, but advised her to abandon any other expectations. As they worked on the design for dancers An An and Yi Hang, Li Weiwei named their creation "Ice and Fire Song," symbolizing the dancers' personalities and their story of "ice touching fire and fire melting ice." The design was well-received, even by the usually picky An An.

Following their successful collaboration, Li Weiwei invited Chen Yidu for omurice to celebrate, but he coldly refused, stating their collaboration ended there and wishing to maintain distance. Meanwhile, Huo Xiao faced his father's wrath at the company for conceding half of the tango design rights to D. U. , an opportunity that had already been secured. His father severely reprimanded him.

Huo Xiao took full responsibility, explaining that Ling Long had won the project unfairly due to his Second Uncle's despicable actions, and partnering with D. U. was a fair resolution. Li Weiwei, who was present, admitted she was moved by Huo Xiao's actions, but clarified that she couldn't develop romantic feelings for him. Separately, Ou Ye received documents from France, which he placed in Huo Xiao's office.

Kang Xing, hiding in the dark, overheard Ou Ye's phone call to Huo Xiao, stating that a witness to the showroom's fire in Paris had been found and could identify Lu Xi An. Kang Xing decided to take a risk. That night, Kang Xing snuck into Huo Xiao's office to photograph the documents. As he prepared to leave, Su Fei and Cao Zhong, who were secretly dating, unexpectedly arrived at the company.

Cao Zhong was accompanying Su Fei to retrieve her phone, which she had forgotten in the meeting room. Cao Zhong's keen ears heard a noise from Huo Xiao's office, prompting Su Fei to investigate, but she found no one. Kang Xing, startled, accidentally triggered an alarm while hiding, forcing him to flee. Su Fei and Cao Zhong also hastily left to avoid exposing their secret relationship.

The next day, despite security not finding anything amiss, company surveillance footage revealed Su Fei and Cao Zhong entering the office. When the footage was publicly played, the suspicious individuals were identified as Su Fei and Cao Zhong. Facing the risk of being labeled as spies, Su Fei confessed her relationship with Cao Zhong to her colleagues. Given the rivalry between Ling Long and D. U.

, Li Weiwei asked Su Fei if she would choose love or her job if forced to choose; Su Fei unhesitatingly chose love. Li Weiwei, empathetic after her memory loss, considered the situation carefully. In contrast, Chen Yidu, displaying his cold and domineering CEO persona, gave Cao Zhong an ultimatum: break up with Su Fei or resign from D. U. , telling him to choose carefully.

Li Weiwei, however, chose to trust Su Fei and openly supported her right to love and pursue happiness. She encouraged Su Fei to persevere, work hard, and continue her relationship, believing they would have a good ending.

Su Fei eagerly relayed the good news to Cao Zhong, who, still under pressure from Chen Yidu's ultimatum and his family's financial needs (his younger brother needed school uniforms, a bicycle, and a laptop), found himself in a painful dilemma, caught between being a scumbag or an unfilial son. Kang Xing reported to Mo Fan about the alarm incident, relieved that only Su Fei and Cao Zhong were caught on camera.

Mo Fan instructed Kang Xing to find the showroom's fire witness before Huo Xiao could. Huo Xiao warned Li Weiwei that Su Fei and Cao Zhong were in a very awkward and precarious position due to the D. U. and Ling Long rivalry, and would be the first suspects if any issues arose. Li Weiwei angrily retorted that if Chen Yidu dared to break them up, she would definitely challenge him. Ultimately, Cao Zhong resigned from D. U.

to preserve his relationship with Su Fei, prioritizing love over his much-needed job and family responsibilities (he had two elderly parents and a younger brother to support). Tiffany, learning of this, called Su Fei, accusing her of being selfish. Li Weiwei confronted Chen Yidu, asking if he forced Cao Zhong's resignation and accusing him of hindering others' love because he himself couldn't face his own feelings.

She challenged Chen Yidu, stating that if she could prove Su Fei and Cao Zhong were willing to sacrifice their lives for each other, he should allow Cao Zhong to return to work.
